God, who envisions a perfect universe even after Lucifer gave Eve the Apple thousands of years ago, but prefers not to get himself involved with hell. And Azathoth, a truly blind and idiotic god who became reckless and power lustful, thanks to his powers and abilities and his true goal…to bring chaos and destruction to even the very universe he created during one of his many dreams countless eons ago.
The lovecraft references make me think Alastor sold his soul to Nyarlathotep, another outer God. Hence the green/black tentacles and eldritch symbols in his magic.
I just noticed that most cartoons explore one idea in mitology: Helluva boss-demonology Gravity falls-Zoroastrianism Aventura time-Lovecraft Murder drones-The story of the anti-Christ(the story of fallen angels) Kung fu panda-Taoism Etc

As a big hp lovecraft fan, the possibility of azathoth to be canon makes me happy.
