I wonder how many of the teams who hit those 9th inning homers went on to win the game, especially the ones who only tied the score. And how many teams who hit go-ahead homers still ended up losing?

The good announcers keep the enthusiasm and emphasis up when their team gives up the big bomb, because they love the game and, while they're pro their side, they're not going to go limp when something fucking impressive and huge is happening on screen.
