In terms of functions, functionality and modes - this is the best Casio from the "budget" line. It is better than F-91W, F105, W218, A158, A168... It has nice elegant retro-futuristic design (inspired by the first digital watches from the 70') which is slightly different than typical "square" Casio.
Neat little watch to add to one's collection! I actually like the curvature, it gives it a different look when compared to the classic square or round retro digital Casios.
Thanks for the very informative review.👍 This model looks modest and has so well organized modes. You can see timer and time at the same time without changing mode. This model is made by engineers 🔧 not by marketers
Would you say the recessed button is easy to press?(even with short nails?) i will use the timer and stopwatch during workouts, and i'm not sure the recessed button is gonna be a hindrance or not
i press it using the "meat" of my finger, not my fingernail. It's recessed just enough to not accidentally press, but it's easy to press when you intend to
It is a great watch to have and as you have mentioned has excellent illumination to it as well. Didn't even realise that there was a version with a metal bracelet, have to admit it looks good in metal as well. Thank you for commenting. Cheers, Tony - WTA
I don't think this one is available in the US. I have the B640, which uses the same module and a steel band. I prefer the W217 or the steel band version, the B650, which are larger and easier to read. BTW: the flash alarm is available on the DW-290 and the DW-5600, which have a lot in common with this module.
Not sure, but I will have to do a Casio decibel alarm update later on this year and add all the new watches to the video so you can see which ones are the loudest within my collection. Cheers, Tony - WTA
Hi there! Yes it was bought from eBay second hand, as I like to show how the watches I feature on the channel wear over time. I do normally say that on the video but I edited it out as the video was going on a little. Hope it helps! Cheers, Tony - WTA
Don't get me wrong I love the Casio F-105W and have worn it quite a lot in the past. I have to say though, this watch is up there in terms of wearability, its features and functions and I am looking forward to wearing it later on in the year for my '30-31 day pros and cons' videos. Thank you for commenting! Cheers, Tony - WTA

yep, this one is the best, I have 2
I have an LW204 in blackout and a b640w in silver. Love both. I put quick release titanium bands on both. Vast improvement.

Fully packed with functions and excellent illumination - I own the B640, which is the option with the metal bracelet.

Pity it's so thick, otherwise, I like it.
