Definitely give A Deadly Education a go next! Found that series so entertaining and the MC so funny with a bit of a relatable grumpiness. The descriptions were so vivid I could picture it all quite well for something so strange.

To Kill A Kingdom is actually a standalone! (another book in the same world came out but it's not its sequel) I've rated five stars, it's one of my favorite ya fantasy books and I really hope you'll like it! Its very detailed and slow but I enjoyed it because it reminded me of Harry Potter. It’s easier to get through if you listen to the Audiobook.
