This is so great! I have been saving some of my old candle scraps to make new ones with my girls, perhaps for christmas. I used to do this with my mum when I was little but I can't remember everything we did.

I just made my very first sets of candles only for Fall decor and there’s so much I’ve never considered like the types of wicks and minimizing fragrance purchases. Yeah it can be pretty profitable, I think the markup really comes with branding. I've seen some for £100 or more and they're tiny.

Hey, I personally find it too temperamental. Not all fragrance oils are compatible with it and from a sustainability point of view it’s actually not great. It’s one of the leading causes of deforestation in the Amazon. I am exploring other waxes that aren’t paraffin/mineral oil based that give a good hot throw. Will update as I find it!
