- When an online scammer sent me a bad check, I decided to give him a chance to turn his life around. I've started to document my interactions with him in case it helps someone else in a similar situation. This is the fifth episode in my interactions with "Emmanuel Lucas." I screen applications for rental homes and run into these fake checks as “proof of income” roughly once a month. It’s so wild to see some of the back end work that goes into it with these scammers!

If you have each other's phone numbers, why not make a voice call? Sometimes hearing someone's voice can put them at ease...just a thought.
Tbh you sound like a scammer yourself. You paid him to pick up a package and take it down the street when you could have just shipped it to him. It does sound like a setup and I would t have went for it either .
He was about to send him to prison. The uber would've had caught him red handed via GPS. Then it would've been uploaded to this channel where at least one cop is subscribed.

Don't send real random scams. Go with "____ needs to ______ in Western Union for 1 quintillion dollars. Take your time but tomorrow is the last day." If someone believe in the quintillion scam, just say you don't want money.

See the problem here is that he spelt Emanuel with one l when he replied... Also he had a smarter way to get more of the money than I thought he would... how about you pay for a one month subscription to photoshop (about $36), get him free courses on skill share (via an advertisement), and have him illustrate some pictures for a kids book! come on kids book! Hey it even rhymes! turn the crook into an author of children's books!

His writing sounds like someone from Africa. I have alot of friends in West and East Africa now. That's how they write. Most are in their 20s trying to get money the easy way. But they also say that there is no work??? They sure do dress very nice and have pretty women around them. I am guessing maybe they found a way around needing alot of money??? They just remind me of me when I was in my 20s. Anyway, great videos. I think we have alot in common in our way of embracing the, not very old, means of being able to meet people all over the planet.
