I finally opened up my MP Rhinox and using you guide transformer him into robot mode. It’s weird, a figure I had been so excited for and eager to get has left me so nonplussed. I started collecting MP beast wars late and have a few KOs, and this feels just like one of those KOs. From the lack of articulation,to the dead eyes, to the instability of posing, this is probably my most disappointing MP purchase, and the only official Takara I’ll ever own.
Despite its shortcomings, kudos to the engineer. Rhinox must have been such a headache to design in order to make it as cartoon accurate as possible. My figure also has loose/weak ankle joints but I can live it because I don’t do dynamic poses with my figures. I just hope they don’t break anytime soon.
Admittedly still watching, and I don’t have this fella myself yet, but someone recently discussed ankles being loose on tfw and a solution was shared by someone who owns the figure. Worth a look for sure
Love that rhino mode. I’ll wait for a 30% off sale or a KO, but I think it turned out well. I wonder how long a project like that would take takara from start to finish.
I personally think they should’ve done what TransArt does with their figures, by using some sort of metal material to make the legs more sturdy enough to keep the more gigantic figures stable. TransArt’s Optimal Optimas is a good example. For a 200$ figure, this should not be an issue
Agree with you on the light piping. It just doesn’t belong on any Masterpiece figure. The ankle issue is making me second guess on purchasing this. This thing has ratchets all over the place but except in the one area they should have been.
Ankles on mine aren't tooo bad - more bugged by the fake mouth connection to the waist being pretty easy to loosen up. Still love the figure, just needed another run through by the QC team.
Dope AF.... Super clean
Beautiful figure, but little bit worried about the thin plastic where the feet are connected, seems like an easy breakingpoint during transformation.
Didn't feel like it would break but it is weak overall compared to the rest

Mine is arriving this week! Also awesome review
Thanks

I saw the solution, it only works for a straight A stance

It's impressive
The ankle issue is the worst part in my hands too.

Some of the Beast Wars design are a bit bizarre to me, but this guy does look spot on to the design. I agree on the light piping eyes, not a fan.
I thought hasbro was gonna to do mp and takara was gonna do the new line
There are 2 figures left in the MP line, this one and then MP-60 ginrai, after that it transitions to MPG
Hipskirts attach to back skirt
As in one big piece?
@@TMReviews yes
i only own 3 of this beast wars MPs they are too expensive for me.
Disappointed there's no fart effect from the episode The Low Road.
😂
I guess you pay for paint, not quality.
Fanstoys Superion though😮
It’s cool Rhinox head extends to move around, wasnt expecting that
I know right?
