The 1st one is actually wrong. You portrayed Meg as the bad person here, but it was Peter who stalked all their dates, so Michael dumped her because he was uncomfortable with her father being so against their relationship.
She only found out she was pregnant after they broke up, to which Michael then said he wants to marry her. She founds out on her wedding day that she’s not pregnant and tells him *then*.
I don’t know why nobody else is talking about this. You kinda twisted the story around to make Meg seem like the bad one here, when it was just Peter being a jerk and bad luck.
I wonder why he was so unsupportive of their relationship, he was a nice guy and A DOCTOR. Most parents would be proud of their child dating someone so intelligent and caring
Im not saying i support what peter did, but Meg survived a near-death experience when peter made her go underwater during a flash flood to get his beers and when she got stuck and peter had to save her and get to the hospital, peter vowed to be a better father and treat her like a princess. Which made him super over-protective. Again, im not supporting peter, but im just explaining WHY peter did all that in the first place. I actually liked that episode bc it’s one of the few where peter actually cared about her

The thing I never got about the Meg character is that she's drawn to resemble Lois who is considered to be hot. Sure Meg is a bit pudgy but not fat. So I never got why she was considered so unattractive.
Oh, and I know why her love life always fails: It's a running gag in a cartoon.
At first it was a running gag that she is ugly and stuff because the authors didn't know how to write a teenage girl but know I'm pretty sure she's just the punching bag 🙄
I never got that either. It would've been nice if she had one person in her life who treated her right. If there's anything unattractive about her personality, it's due to her family. I really wish they hadn't made her take back the speech she gave to them when she finally stood up for herself.

Meg also dated that Nudist family’s son. Though their scenes were very brief, they really seem to have a connection which sadly was never followed up.
Then again the whole nudist family weren’t ever used again after season 3 aside from a cameo
He was the only one who didn't mind Meg's not traditionally beautiful features. The others were awful to her or died or got into prison.

She bought drugs to drug her brother Chris so that ken could sleep with him because he was into Chris and Chris ain’t gay.
The reason why Meg wanted to that was because he wanted to prove to ken that he’s just delusional and he’s not into men. So maybe after sleeping with Chris he would realize that he’s not gay.
But it didn’t go as planned because she realized it was a stupid idea afterall
I honestly really like meg as a character and would want to be close to her if she were real. I wish people in the show would treat her better but I don't really see that happening.
Sadly, I think she's that character, that is just destined to be alone. She always gets the shaft, and will continue to. I would like to see this long buildup get a climax, and her getting a normal relationship for like half a season at least, but she probably won't. Especially after the episode where the doctor checked her boyfriend for everything in front of everyone, that sealed it for me. Poor Meg.
Honestly I really feel bad for meg, if only she was born and grew up in a different family who doesn't treat her like garbage and Loves her for who she is and cares about her so much and being treated like a family member

Desperation kills (almost) all of her relationships and honestly I feel sorry for her because her family treat her like utter trash. Peter has shown some affection to her for a little bit and Chris has always been there for her but her mom is the issue. She doesn't seem to want her daughter to be happy because of her own issues with being in a loveless marriage. An example of this could be seen in the episode where Peter became the principal at her school and, although admittedly she got carried away, Lois stopped what was going on.
Meg's family is emotionally abandoning her while she is in one of the most crucial phases of life, being a teenager with fluctuating emotions that they don't yet have under control.
She still remains one of my favorite characters besides Quagmire, Cleveland and Stewie.

It's like the more normal character you are, the worse you are treated in this show.

A relationship that might have worked for Meg, as messed up as it was, was with...Quagmire! He seemed to genuinely like her and treated her right. If Peter and Lois had not gotten involved, they may have had a healthy, stable relationship
In their defense, if you had a daughter, would you want one of your best friends dating their daughter? I know quagmire genuinely cares for Meg, and dating her isn't the weirdest thing he's ever done, but in all fairness, the concept of having a friend date your adult child seems really awkward. Not gonna lie, i wouldn't hate my friend, but a part of me would feel really uneasy thinking about what they're doing. I don't blame lois and Peter for that. It just wouldn't sit right with me personally. Like, imagine either of them bringing up that they went on a date and even acting all lovey dovey around you. The atmosphere would feel very uncomfortable.

Third, even if she wasn't 18, the age of consent in Rhode island is 16, so where they come from it's not grooming. Lastly, it's replying not replaying.

@@remylarrivee2047 I agree to an extent. In all honesty, I feel like meg's boyfriend she had in the episode where lois has sex with him seemed pretty healthy to me. Sure it was weird with everybody stalking him because he seemed like a normal guy, but it looks like it had the potential to be a good relationship. It's just a shame that lois had to be a pathetic slut and made out with the boy and had the balls to blame Peter for what she did just because of a few comments. Seriously, she could've talked to him from the beginning and not have sex with Meg's boyfriend, and everything would've been fine. Instead, she acts like an arrogant prick towards Meg and refuses to take responsibility for her actions. That's a relationship that didn't need to be destroyed.
It's interesting honestly. The creator and writers just shrug Meg like what she is stereotypically is. The teenage girl. But now that you pull this tell e out, it seems more of a character development. I just hope she gets a good ending. But knowing the fans, and I mean the fanatics who never get satisfied, they won't allow the show to grow and Seth MacFarlane do what he wants. The greatest example was when Bryan died. The fans demanded him back, but they could've gotten a deep story with an interesting plot twist if Quagmire ended up being the one who killed Bryan. In the end, I hope Meg gets a great ending and they stop with the whole joke of her being the butt of it. That's old already.

Meg isn’t even ugly it’s just Peter who constantly messes up her love life but stalking her dates and sabotaging them. Also the part where you said Meg tried to roofie Kent is wrong, Meg got the pills from quagmire then tried to roofie chris because she made Kent believe that chris wanted to hookup with him and then Kent and chris find out and Kent calls her out for being crazy.
It's really sad every relationship she tried having went into ruins she deserves to be happily in love with that one special person

It's a running joke that Meg is ugly, but considering Lois is considered to be something of a knockout, it's a bit contradictory. They resemble each other, with Meg just being a bit thicker, younger, with a different hair colour and hairstyle and wearing glasses. Sounds like a lot, but their faces in general are similar, it's just minor details that amount to accessories for the most part. Basically, if Lois is lovely looking in that universe, you'd think Meg would at least be considered pretty.

I haven't watched the episode where Lois tries to hook up with meg's boyfriend, but I honestly feel like Lois wasn't really attracted to him, and just convinced herself she was because she couldn't take it that meg had a good thing, and that meg had a normal partner, which Lois does not.
