Reminds me of my cartoon where the main character falls for this girl who looks similar to his mom. The difference is that it was cute when it happened. 1. She looked similar to his mother but not the same. 2. He didn't even notice that she looked like his mother because that's not why he fell for her, it was all a coincidence. 3. There's a whole arc about their relationship that builds up. 4. His mom also didn't notice the similarities between her and the girl. 5. The mother didn't try to push into their relationship. 6. Even when the mom did find it she thought it was cute because it reminded her of herself and her partner when they were younger since the main character looks a lot like his father. 7. I could tell you more details but that might spoil everything.
A few early episodes also showed that Chris was a talented artist and had a genuine passion for it; I wish they would have kept that as a focus because it made him a lot more interesting than just "weirdo horny kid", there's enough characters like that in FG. Hell they could even keep those aspects, just give him a little more depth again
Chris is actually low-key talented. He's a successful painter, singer, and NASA pilot. He's also a lot deeper of a character in the middle years of family guy, showing extreme empathy and awareness of his faults. He actually shows a lot of the traits of an autism spectrum disorder, although he's a very extreme case considering the depths of both his talent and his abnormal behavior
One more thing i noticed with Chris is that his parent have no hope for him, they even knew that Meg would get into college but have serious doubts about Chris’s future 😂
