Of course, being a more fleshed-out character, meant that Quagmire was now able to be tossed into some dangerous situations.

Amazing how the town rapist is one of the few characters left who is actually likable.
I know, it just seems like the show needs to have a conclusive ending and Fox just wants to milk the frick out of it before they let it happen. Lois was ruined, Joe became unbearable, Cleveland became basically a side character, and the revision of Meg's character (which was needed as in previous seasons she was treated horribly by the family and the writers) is worse then spoiled avocados. It feels like they don't know what to do with Quagmire as changing him slightly might offset the audience, especially with the public opinion opposing jokes like those found on family guy.

The last one doesn't make sense. Like, where did Ida get the extra set of equipment? Transgender bottom surgery doesn't outright remove the pole, but repurposes the muscle and flesh (and recovery takes months of discomfort).

You think Quagmire deosnt deserve it, but then you watch some episodes and relise his questionable age of choice in some women in the Quagmire parade episode. Case in point the the 3rd worl women joke. That and the rufeecilada joke were its rufees in penicilladas. And the confederete episode were peter wreck quagmires car and alot of asian girls escape just for him to say there tagged. With the exception of what happend to his sister, i cant really feel bad quagmire. He is a shit person. Oh and to add some sprinkles, there was a episode were a short cut of him crashing a funerall after doing necrophillia. So i dont feel bad for Quagmires suffering.
