At 1:07 when George says "Boy I have to get to a bathroom" as he's turning back around thinking Jerry is in front of him. :) clever short throw away line but something nearly all of has done at some point. Brilliant writing
We got an even better dry cleaner scene in Curb. Gina Gershon as the dry cleaner hitting on Larry then laughing at him when she sees a cum stain on his blanket
Yes but most people want financial compensation that's why the cleaner was reticent, most people who arent wealthy like jerry can't afford to say they don't care about the money, not that jerry was necessarily wealthy at this stage but he'd certainly earnt a comfortable living
It's a comedy so doing this for laughs He not even have the receipt saying that admits guilt even if they not get it done there now would have to pay him for damages when not their fault he working the register has nothing to do with people doing the work.
I thought he’s mixed black. But his accent...it’s hard to tell where he’s originally from...

@ObamaisnextLincoln No, you don't. This guy in the movie play an Indian from India. Doesn't matter what you believe or think you know about accents. Maybe you are an Indian and are offended by ... but doesn't matter. For 99.99% of the people he is enough Indian to be believable.
I feel like one thing this show did right was constantly introduce one-off characters that were great, rather than add a few and re-use them just because they worked.
This is comedy but it's actually so true out of all the refunds I've had in my life and there have been quite a bit what's really lacking out there is accountability it would be very refreshing to go to a store present your problem that they were responsible for and have them say yes this was our fault!
I still laugh whenever I see this bit. Also like when he's trying to get a rental car but they tell him they have no cars available even though he had a reservation.
I had a dry cleaner return a shirt dirty, with the stain set. They said they don't clean the shirts, they just press them. They refused to pay for the shirt.
That "I shrunk it" is one of my all-time favorite line deliveries of the entire show.
So funny! The look on the dry cleaner’s face when he admitted his guilt. Perfect acting. So funny.
I think one big reason people like it so much is because businesses never admit fault שלום
Cleaner is Ted Davis, owns an art gallery, did some other acting, he was great here lol
Oh thank you that’s who that was
Thanks for sharing his name. I always use to wonder who that great actor is.
"I shrunk it" is the best acted and delivered line in any sitcom ever
That thing he did with his eyebrows as he delivered the line was brilliant.
Andy Indian Kramer
That guy is really funny!
Thats crap... The best one: "he took it OUT!!!"
Absolutely is!
I like the way he looks around first before admitting, "I shrunk it!!"
Moses Tsarai lol
This guy should have been casted more.
@@petinachambersmcvay8482 that is his name okay
“You shrunk it,you know you shrunk it,just tell me you shrunk it!” Lmfao..watched that part so many times..gold!
At 1:07 when George says "Boy I have to get to a bathroom" as he's turning back around thinking Jerry is in front of him. :) clever short throw away line but something nearly all of has done at some point. Brilliant writing
Mr Byamile Excellent show. Does anyone know the name of the woman?
Seinfeld was always a great show when it comes to timing. Timing is a huge part of the humor on this show.
And totally awkward for George. LOL!
@@senorromantico7723 yeah, I'd like to know the name of that actress too. She's a gorgeous mature woman
That part killed me
Man, that cleaner is a hell of an actor.
Sergio TL as Kramer would say...."You got that right!" lol
It's amazing how he even looks a bit like Jerry and has the same facial expressions.
agree, LMFAO
His name is Ted Davis. 🙂
Lol
Jerry and the dry-cleaner almost look like they could be brothers.
They even have the same facial expressions!
He looked like Jerry until his last line. Then he turned into Kramer
…
This is the other, lesser known, Seinfeld scene about shrinkage.
This is such a Curb Your Enthusiasm moment, not hard to imagine Larry complaining and getting irate when the cleaner wont admit guilt
Actually this actor played a little role in Curb. The elevator scene 😉
Im not sure that's the same guy and I know who you mean, he was in the Internship with Vince Vaughn. @@Sengaari
We got an even better dry cleaner scene in Curb. Gina Gershon as the dry cleaner hitting on Larry then laughing at him when she sees a cum stain on his blanket
See that's a key difference: Jerry sometimes gets annoyed, occasionally miffed or a little angry. LARRY DAVID RAGES INTO THE HEART OF DARKNESS.
There was significant shrinkage.
Hearing the guy say “ May I help yuu?” Is the funniest part for me 😂😂
The actor's delivery of "I shrunk it" is just awesome.
Man i relate with Jerry so much here, there's some times when all i want is that someone just admit that they did something wrong and Thats it
Yes but most people want financial compensation that's why the cleaner was reticent, most people who arent wealthy like jerry can't afford to say they don't care about the money, not that jerry was necessarily wealthy at this stage but he'd certainly earnt a comfortable living
Exactly
It's a comedy so doing this for laughs He not even have the receipt saying that admits guilt even if they not get it done there now would have to pay him for damages when not their fault he working the register has nothing to do with people doing the work.
Thw extras in this show where brilliant
Man that actor dude is awesome. His admitting he shrink it left me laughing
George's sweater looks cozy AF.
That delivery, I shrunk it, while raising his eyes... killed me 😂😂😂
It's the Indian Kramer
hes indian.@@YD-uq5fi
I thought he’s mixed black. But his accent...it’s hard to tell where he’s originally from...

I'm an indian. Take it from me, he's indian.
@ObamaisnextLincoln no hes indiana jones.
I want an admission of guilt😂😂 classic Jerry
Very Larry David in that scene
The cleaner guy should've been an ongoing bit. He was pretty funny. 😂
The episode that got me to watch more Seinfeld...
That woman in purple is absolutely stunning. This was 1990...I’d love to see her now.
Dale Kasman
Nothing good ever happens at dry cleaners in Seinfeld.
Old but wow that lady in the purple looks amazing for her age.
And she was desperately holding back her laugh. Amazing I’m just noticing this today.
Yes, because ur old now
The Seinfeld show always had great sets. They all looked like the real thing.
I'm obsessed with that green painting behind George.
Season 1 George is so unique - before jason alexander understood he actually plays larry
My fav part is how the cleaner looked at the length if the line before admitting he shrunk it
That was before yelp too so it’s not like word is getting out too far haha
They had great characters on the show.
"How are you feeling Mr. Wilkinson? *Psssssshhhhh* Oh, and by the way, what's happening with Sendrax?" 😂
My mom's been in this situation, and I now can truly sympathize when jerry.
I feel like one thing this show did right was constantly introduce one-off characters that were great, rather than add a few and re-use them just because they worked.
The dry cleaners logic is everybody in 2021.
Wow a dry cleaner with a conscience.
One of the best episodes....ohhhh FUNNY!
“Boy I have to get to a bathroom!”
I felt the same after I read your comment
Greatest show of all time...... don't care what anybody says
The way the woman looks at George
the dry cleaner sorta looks like jerry
Guess Jerry didn't know about shrinkage back then
You mean, like laundry? ;)))
That was some clean acting.
The dry cleaner, the customer service person for the rental car, the telemarketer.....lol
This is comedy but it's actually so true out of all the refunds I've had in my life and there have been quite a bit what's really lacking out there is accountability it would be very refreshing to go to a store present your problem that they were responsible for and have them say yes this was our fault!
@2:22 “I srunk it” 😂
Let me explain to you something.
LOL!!
Thx 4 sharing.
Let me explain to you something ... that how I explain to some people don’t understand me. With funny clip .
I bet that older woman was a knockout back in the day.
And that was the last time anyone has ever heard an employee admit they did something wrong
I thought he was going to drop the ethnic accent when he admitted guilt. Would have been over the top hilarious.
Anyone know the cleaners name, he’s got good character
Love the sien
The "other" type of shrinkage.
My gf is always trying to get me to admit guilt, BUT I always plea the fifth
That dry cleaner looks like George's old girl friend- the one that looks like Jerry.
The lady in purple u can tell she was hot in her youth I still hit it
Days before Robinhood and Webull😆
Major shrinkage
@ 1:07
😂
Monti pithon’s the parrot sketch
I still laugh whenever I see this bit. Also like when he's trying to get a rental car but they tell him they have no cars available even though he had a reservation.
This made me paranoid to use dry cleaners from hereon in.
He’s right there’s still fluid involved in dry cleaning, just not water.
Yeah but he still shrunk it though
who is the lady in the purple sweater? She is hott!
Dale Kasman
The dry cleaner (Ted Davis) reminds me of Bronson Pinchot, or is it the other way around?
Now was that so hard?
Their profiles are identical.
Nowadays, they would probably ban this show due to being racist.😂😂😂
I think the cleaners isn't the one showed in the outdoor shot.
No, the interiors were shot in the studio.
Bro the outside of the cleaners looked so fake at the beginning. That’s the only thing ever in Seinfeld that looked that fake
1:15 - It's like Seinfeld vs Seinfeld.
It shrinks?? Why does it shrink??
It just does....
Like a frightened turtle!
It was at the pool
If only all people could admit when they blew it, what a better world this would be.
Start with the scamdemic…. oh, that was intentional.
Jerry should count himself lucky to have access to a service that washes and irons his clothes for him
I have to do it all myself
NOW thats "major shrinkage factor"!
Shrinkage !!!!!!!!!!!! OMG still haven't stopped laughing
2:24 Thats an indian jerry
The cleaner guy looks kinda like Abed from the show "community"
I definitely had the incident at 1:07 happen once except my phrasing was more graphic and the woman said “thaaaaats really nice to know”
Good for that man admitting to it... to me that would get them another chance...
Boy i gotta get to a bathroom
I had a dry cleaner return a shirt dirty, with the stain set. They said they don't clean the shirts, they just press them. They refused to pay for the shirt.
this guy is amazing, why he didnt make it in comedy more than this i dont understand..
I ssrunk it..
thank u come again
i shunk it
no safety vest?
No direct line to your DM?
Jerry was a full Karen
Who is the dry cleaner? Anyone now?
Now try the same at an Asian cleaners.
Now I have to go watch a Family Guy Mr. Washee Washee clip...
Here in the UK… That guy IS Asian.
Who's that beautiful lady in purple???
What a huge weight off his shoulders
till 3 store
topical somewhat?
...... as performed by the Chipmunks.
A cleaner that's not Asian? Mind blown
You know that Asia is more than just China, right? That guy could be Pakistani, which is in Asia.
A ramirez that can use a computer? Mind blown
The cleaners REGISTER is off. Just saying.
