I love the heart design and the hexagon is great as well. I have been learning to not take apart dies unless I have to. I have a hexagon set that I have used several times and they are all still held together. In cardmaking you don't have to worry about seam allowances like in quilting. My latest project is running all my embossing folders using paper that might be what I might choose for them. I found 2 1" wide hexagon embossing folders and ran them through on one side of the paper and then ran them through on the other side of the paper. I did them in gold paper and then put them with my other bee items for when I make anything bee related. As I work. I also discovered duplicate embossing cards that will head to my thrift store. Unless I can't see myself ever using it, I keep duplicates of the skinny embossing folders so I can use both at the same time I am embossing them. I love making pre-prepped stuff just to be able to sit down and make cards when I want to. Just looking through some of my craft magazines tonight and found a card that used one of the three identical embossing cards I discovered today, two of which are heading for the thrift store after checking which one makes the best impression. I am learning so much lately from you and other RUclipsrs. Thank you for your help on my learning process. Sorry I am so chatty.

@@nbcascards I have been sorting through my dies this morning, in fact, my whole cupboard in search of a brand new T ruler I bought a couple of weeks ago, to no avail! In so doing, I did find one connected die, yay! It is a heart one so I will use that. I bought some stash from the lady across the way who no longer crafts and this was amongst it. I forgot...now where is that T ruler 🤔 xx

Distress Oxide is an ink which comes on a pad, but you can turn it into a paint by adding water to the ink you've smooshed onto a pallette. I have a whole series on ink pads starting the day after tomorrow, which you should find helpful. :)

Why does it take me hours to create just one card?? You pull everything together in a jiffy, and it LOOKS as if you'd spent hours creating them.
I really must invest in a die like that. The only thing similar that I have are a couple full-panel background dies. They're pretty, but that's quite a different look from these. I like the simplicity of yours. 😊
