Beautiful. Another lesson learned. Love the faux inlay method. I've got a few of those intricate detail panel dies that never get used for lack of knowing how to use them properly. Thanks to you - new ideas are coming. Much appreciated.
Thanks for doing this demo. I have a bookmark project that’s been on a back burner for awhile & your method just made this project much less cumbersome where l look forward to tackeling it now. Excellent work! 👏🏻👍🏼🙏🏻💖
What wonderful techniques. I love the tip about laying out the tacky glue and putting the die cut into the glue. I’m certainly going to try the faux inlay technique.
Absolutely lovely!! Not sure if I love any dots on it at all, but I think I might have liked soft green better. The smooshing and faux inlay techniques are FABULOUS! Must try! Thank you!
Hi Natalie what a great idea I wondered how you were going to do it. Also thanks for your tips. I’ve only just found your posts but I’m addicted already and I’ve now bought some of the equipment and supplies you’ve used. I can’t wait to use them when they arrive. You are so good at these posts, exactly right!
Thanks, Jane! I've been making cards for as long as I can remember. My mum always encouranged us to be arty and crafty when we were children, so it's something I've always done. x
What a gorgeous card Natalie! I've been with you for two days and I have learned a number of great tips. May I ask if you are using Aileen's Tacky Glue, please? I love how you smear glue on your glass mat for those intricate glueing projects. You've converted me. Thanks so much for all your tips, tricks and techniques. Jan
Thank you! This is the glue: www.therange.co.uk/arts-and-crafts/craft-supplies/glue-guns-glues-and-tapes/craft-glue/original-gold-hi-tack-glue/#308948 Have fun! x
Aren't you afraid of damaging the glass mat when you drop the die to get pieces out. I just got a glass mat for Christmas and can't wait to start smooching. Just thought I'd share, I have done no thread sew a line perferation on pieces like that so you can easily separate it for a book mark on the inside (don't like the perforation on the front panel, now I have a rotary tool that does perforations so i can make bookmark cards easily). I love all your wonderful creations, So fresh.
Great technique and always learning something new. ❤❤
Thank you! Cheers!

This is gorgeous. I made one similar the other day but not as beautiful as yours. I have to get out of my comfort zone and be brave with texture. ❤
Thanks, Joanne! You can do it!
Another great card! How long have you been making cards? You have such wonderful ideas. It would be fun to know your card making journey 😊.

My glass mat is made from toughened glass so it's heat proof and shatter proof. I'll have a look out for a perforation tool. Great tip! x
@@nbcascards you should be able to find one at local fabric store by the rotary cutters.
And your tacky tape…brand???
The double-sided tape? I think it's just a Sellotape one that I picked up in a charity shop.
