Never mind the critical commenters. They don't have the confidence to video on the fly and I doubt they're actually doing any of things you are. I don't understand why they think they're so superior to whoever they're watching but I'm definitely not convinced they could do a better job. I like that you're not doing a voiceover or showing perfection (although your finished cards come pretty close). You craft as I do and show me YOUR process which is ever so helpful. I misplace things and make mistakes (as we all do) and find your tips enlightening - like the bee assembly. I'm so glad I found your channel. It makes my day when you have a new video up.

Chrissie, I really enjoyed this video - there’s a number of excellent tips throughout and your gentle, almost conversational style is right up my street! I’m very grateful for you sharing your creative thinking process. It is very helpful - as your artistry is something I admire very much and to hear you talk through your process and decision making helps me with the CAS style of card - which is not my natural creative style. I watch your videos because I want to learn more about the style and the process so my question to your viewer who made the unpleasant comment would be “why are you watching if you don’t want to learn how to work through design decisions?” Please do not be deterred by such an unpleasant person. Your style is greatly appreciated and valued.

I've only recently found you, and truly appreciate your "organic" approach. 😊 As card makers we know the process is rarely straightforward. When I begin, I often have a vague idea, or I have a clear idea of where I'm going, but either way, it inevitably changes along the way as a result of my skills not being up to par for my idea, or missing some component and making do. Your videos are a wonderful reminder that we are all together in this. Thank you for being you and doing you - it's wonderful.

One last thing, my husband's family have been beekeepers here in California for several generations. My father-in-law will be turning 100 next month and I've been trying to come up with just the right idea for his birthday card for the family celebration. And while I don't have a bee die, I will be trying my hand at a version of this - thanks so much for the inspiration. 🤗

Chrissie - I'm outraged! What a mean and stupid commenter - the whole charm about your videos is because we're with you through the whole process, including the thinking and planning. Anyone can work to a script with pre-prepared items and just slap them in place. Whereas, you bring so much inspiration. Certainly I'm looking much more closely at my card designs, even to the point of test cuts of dies from white scraps to check that they would sit together well before even embarking on a 'for real' card making session. Please don't change your format - ever! Back to watching your video now. Di x
