Thats how it used to be in comps years back before they split the street and park comps. Defo the best way as it makes riders more well rounded and use more of the course if they want to do well, not just 'jib' on a rail the whole time.
If i ever become a billionair ill fund bringing bmx and action sports back. The world todsy is so focused on clout and new age bullshit, no funding for big action sport events. Remember the 90s and 2000s? Events like Xgames were absolutely massive events. Breaks my heart man, especially when the skill of these guys keeps getting better, where tf is the hype?? Great content and riding as usual🤘
What happened to every event in the world - the Corona crisis. We couldn't continue in Saku arena due to crowd restrictions, so it also wasn't possible to fund a bigger park, have as many big names come over and so on. So instead of cancelling, the team decided to still do something, but on a smaller scale for a few years. Now this year it was part of the European City of Culture schedule, but there wasn't a place big enough either. But it will be back in the old arena and for the 25th anniversary it should be a great one! ;)
For 4 years Simple Session has been now a 5-day festival with different street and park jams all over the city (this year also on the river ferry ⚓), exhibitions, parties, move screenings and all the jazz. It's been really awesome and everyone who have come over have loved it.
Do you really think that bmx appeals to the public? It simply doesnt align with societal interest. There arent really any spokesperson to capture the publics eye. As much as I love bmx, I don’t think it will grow overtime
We need lil Wayne to ditch the skateboard for a bike and maybe someone with give a shit these days. Or basketball. Bout it sadly. I’m constantly on my kids ass about hitting the skatepark and let’s go ride but it’s not cool anymore. Breaks my heart because BMX basically raised me. Rode for 15yrs before my body started shutting down on me. I was hoping to relive my youth through seeing their progression but turns out I’m just THAT dad now
@@dashydoobie9788 i think the spokesperson was scotty and after what happened to him alot of people who only watched and did not ride lost interest sadly.
I see where you're coming from. years in the past they had bigger arenas. it was a packed house but maybe they lost the warehouse space they had before.. Estonia is a country I'd imagine the opportunity for huge venues is quite limited.
I really appreciate the well rounded riders who use every inch of the course.
the fact that park/street are matched together is wild best comp ngl
💛

Now breakdancing is in the Olympics…..
…….which has become its own shtshow
LET'S GO! 🚀🏆
The most interesting competition so far. Can't even compare it to mechanical park competition or just "street" things.
What happened to simple session? It used to be such a huge event
No progression

Just me or does this year seem very small and low energy. Great riding non the less!

Are you joking? Joji’s run was incredible. I’m sure the vibes got thrown off after Alex’s injury though.
I mean he was on the cover right? 😅 (jk well deserved obviously)
the weakest simple session I ever watched
The riding was sick as always but I gotta say, this years simple session course feels like a bit of a let down compared to previous years
How can you upload this without getting copyright ©️ strikes??
