I think the main striking difference of Biomes o' Plenty and this one is that this mod utilizes the fantasy aspect of Minecraft and caters to a sort of more adventurous aspect of the game where it tells you explore and you'd be like "oh man, this looks cool, I hope there's more" while BoP serves as a faithful recreation of the earthly terrain w/ some minimal fantasy aspects just to expand what terrain you'll run yourself into.
There are two sides of every biome mod. 1. Hideously Ugly Biomes 2. The most beautiful biomes youve ever seen. This is the same for Terralith, bop, and regions unexplored.
I'm a creator of mods for minecraft bedrock (and I have a biome mod/addon) and I can say for sure, it's impossible to make a 100% mod with beautiful biomes 😂
Splendid video. Really love how you showcased the unique terrain as well, unlike the other showcase I watched which really only showed the trees and fauna.

One of the big things for this mod is it way too fantasy for my taste. 1.19 really needs a terrain generation mod that slightly tweaks the biomes. Teralith would be perfect but I just some times feel the world is too exaggerated
Loved the video and the preview of every biome, I feel like this mod pairs well with Alex’s mobs on forge, I’ve seen a few of his mobs spawn in the biomes

Hello, I don't know if you could help me I get this type of error :( oh the biomes you ll go byg encountered an error during the common_setup event please and below a series of digits. Is there a solution please or a discord to send you screenshots :( help please
Are you using it with any other mods? That would be the first thing I would do! Take out any other ones except for dependencies and see if it still does that
@@Jayfrey23 I thought that was it, I deleted all the mods and there was only the byg and the terrablender mod and the same thing keeps happening no matter how much I put another version I get the same thing :(
Don't get me wrong, the presentation of this mod is great, but I suggest You could make the names slide from right to left next time. it's just my opinion, feel free to ignore it.
For me personal the meadow blocks specificaly kinda get bugged and go seethrough when i have both installed but if i were you i would just test it and see

Tbh bop is what modern mc would do, while byg is what notch would do.

@Joseph Gleespen it unfortunately doesn’t work tho. I mean the world will boot but half of the world doesn’t generate, along with many other bugs

I don't know of any portal to go to the different biomes, but you can use the /locate biome command to try and find all of them!

i keep crashing on startup, only have sodium and iris installed 1.19.3
the fabric version hasn't come out yet and sodium and iris are fabric so that is probably the problem
