Hi all! A quick note on the years, as I knew I would screw them up royally. It was pointed out that I said "5 year Anniversary" for Metropolis, but said that the 28 pans palettes dropped in 2016. So that means they dropped I believe in 2015. I failed to realize that while editing, and did not include a notation. My apologies for the error!
No,worries, my RUclips friend... this is so informative 👏👌.. thank you for all the information and help with explaining Natasha Denona formulas. the best way to use them.. I appreciate it so much.
Side note Alicia... the mini zendo came out in 2020, not 2019. When I heard you say that I knew it couldn't be true because I never got into makeup until the pandemic hit. I remember not picking up the mini zendo because of the reviews. I did get the midi zendo and I like it but I never use it. Anyways just wanted to mention that to you!
Never mind. As someone who new in ND eyeshadow palette, this video is very useful to help me decide which palette I prefer. Thank you so much.😍😍 love you and everyone in here😍😍
Grabbing myself a snack, a coffee and settling IN for this video! Hell yeah an hour and 40 minutes of ND palettes and Alicia? Are we sure it's not Friyay for this level of joy?!
You bet your bottom dollar i just sat here and watched all 1 hour, 38 mins and 59 seconds 😂 YOU are the influencer that got me into ND & PML. I'm thrilled that you're revisiting luxury eyeshadow palettes. I'm into project panning and this is very much up my alley. I think you'd benefit greatly by making shop your stash, using nothing new, and revisiting old palette videos
I love how you objectively talk about these palettes. You go the extra mile to educate yourself on Natasha’s inspiration and techniques and then give them a try as how she uses them instead of just saying “oh, this palette is bad because I couldn’t get the shades to work.” You are so thorough and talented! Thank you for all your work and efforts that you put into these videos! ❤️😊
This video is EVERYTHING!!!! I am a huge ND fan. Lila is my favorite as well! Please please please consider doing another series of ND tutorials! I have learned so much from you and would love to revisit some of Natasha’s older palettes I have not brought out for a while!
I absolutely loved this video Alicia. I love ND and loved that you took the time to thoroughly go through all here large and midi palettes. I can’t wait for part 2 of this video with the 5 pan and mini palettes. Also please please please make revamp ND tutorial videos. I love those videos and I often follow along with my ND palettes!
Look at you giving us the ND resource vidgeo on your 37th! Your work ethic is exceptional as are you. Have a wonderful day and year ahead Alicia!! We appreciate youuuuuuu!!! 👏👏
Yes!!! I don’t care how long it takes, but I definitely would love to see you do revamps videos with your Natasha Denona palettes. I still want to get the retro palette, it’s speaking to me 😍
I’m obsessed with this “revisiting” concept. It makes me all excited to pull out all my old palettes. Thank you for doing something that doesn’t just push consumerism.
You just made me feel so much better for having 20 Natasha denona pallets including those big mamas because I always get anxiety that I don’t show them enough love but if I can have them for six years easily they will all receive the proper love that they deserve lol
Everytime I look at Natasha Denonas palettes and realize the intricacies put into placing for trios, rows, columns, quads my respect for her grows because I get like 12 seconds into trying to formulate a layout that could acheive this and my brain hurts
Wow! This is a MasterClass. Very informative and enjoyable. I appreciate the chronological recap and the color placement background. Bronze was my first Natasha Denona purchase, but I have been eyeing her for years. Came close to purchasing Metropolis, but I couldn’t quite pull the trigger. I have gone on to get Retro and Love. Retro is fabulous and my favorite. I am here for a burgundy/wine story. Love is nice, but I am glad I got it on sale. Thank you for video and I look forward to more tutorials!!!!
Is it possible to please make a video with what skin tones go with cool, neutral or warm colors? What compliments what...I think it'll save us lots $$$ ...Thank you 💋
I’m with you on loving Lila, it was my first big ND palette and I started loving purple because of it. It’s a beautiful palette. I also love mostly shimmer palettes, but I love Safari and Trichrome and even Biba, because ND mattes are so good. BTW, I love pairing Safari with Decadence- the color choices are so similar and they can work so well together.
I love my Natasha Denona and my Pat McGrath collection. For that reason I switch my everyday makeup every two weeks and for the 5 palettes I select there is always one Pat McGrath and one Natasha Denona. I pay for them might as well get them good use. Love the videos and I cannot wait for your tutorials. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
You are such a gem for creating these guides. I purchased the Biba palette and the Love palette and I am in love with the formulas. I want to purchase more but dats an investment...soooo with your guidance and thoroughness I'm sure I'll be able to narrow down my list to a short list ❤💕 thank you gorgeousness!!
Such a good video! Loved this as much as the Pat video. Thank you Alicia for your thorough descriptions and all the information. I'm looking at the palettes I own in a different light now, thank you for that.
I love the ability to move the pans around in the newer midi palettes. I could care less about knowing the names of the shadows, so I move them all into a light to dark gradient pattern that works for me and it completely changes the game. These palettes are AMAZING.
Happy Birthday Alicia! I love this 💡 of revisting Pat and ND and yes tutorials please. We paid for these palettes let's use them! You are a breath of fresh air on YT and I love the background and knowledge you provide. You are inspirational and got me back and rotating these palettes again. We got to use them. They are gorgeous and dont last forever....and expensive! Thank you for being a gem in the YT community!
Hi Alicia! Absolutely loved your ultimate ND guide! Your knowledge and love for all the palettes was so helpful!!! 🥰 I hope she comes out with a midi gold palette this year! 🤞🏼 Susan
Watch a 1hr 40 min film? Nah I haven’t got the time or concentration today. Watch a 1hr 40 min vid of Alicia talking about makeup? DAMN YES! Get me a coffee and a blanket QUICK TIME.
Same… absolutely the same!!! She got me so hooked… I was like… what came next? Oh yeah! And all the emotions came back! Master class! Mistress entertainment!
I purchased Love, Lila, and sunset all based on your reviews and I looooved them. ND really knows how to lay out a color story but her recent releases like circo and retro didn’t quite catch my eye. One good thing to add is that her eye primer works wonderfully with my oily, hooded lids. Eyeshadow separates on my eyes easily but her eyeshadows last very well and her eye primer is my staple for any other brand I use. Wonderful video Ms Sweat lol 😂
This was the most thorough digestion of a brand's eye shadows ever and I completely enjoyed it. Yep. You gotsta do a lot of looks with ND now, like you've done with PM. How exciting for us! How much work for you 😃
Yeeeeessss ND is offering a free micro biba with $100 purchase today and I was super tempted. You definitely made me give ND a chance and my collection has grown so much in the last year. They really are lovely products. I thought Sunset was going to be my favorite but Bronze is my love and Retro is my BFF. Hahaha that's how you get away with having two favorites!
Happy birthday, Alicia!! 🎉🎂🎁💗🍾 hope you have a fantastic day! Out of all of them, I think retro would go best with my aesthetic. I have the browns covered, but this idea of a neutral burgundy palette is a dream. This would be my first full palette. I only have the Star Mini.
Wow this video is so nostalgic!!! I absolutely love Natasha Denona and I need to pull out my pallets and use them. She has the best formulas for me by far!!! She is the real MVP! I’m pulling out the 28 brown 28 blue, star and the vintage singles!!! Thanks for this video great job!
So well researched and presented, thank you! I don't think I wear anything too colorful, but the metropolis palette is my every day palette (and my only ND palette). She almost got me with the circo Loco, bronze, and triochrome, but I finally went with one I would wear almost every day.
Alicia!!!!!! This video was ah-mazing!!!! I absolutely love the depth of history and summarization that you have given for each palette. You have re-inspired me to dust off each palette and view them in new ways as well as seeing them from Natasha's perspective. That being said my top 5 are: 5. Gold, 4. Lila, 3. Sunset, 2. Biba 1. Bronze, but to be fair, they all have a special place in my heart! Thank you for inviting me to your TED Talk!! 💕
I can’t believe I never caught the notification for this!! The ultimate guide indeed! Each time I’m on a low buy she brings out something new! She needs to bring Gold back.
Your voice is so calming to listen too. Your descriptions of each palette >>OUTSTANDING! Everything was clear and I understood all the points you made. Biba, Love and Zendo are the palettes that I have and, I found them all to be very easy for Me.. to work with. I'm a colorful woman and love to wear colorful shadows daily. After watching this I want both of those 28 pan palettes. 💜💙💚 As for the Retro palette I want it but I feel like it's so cool toned that I won't be able to be as creative as I am with warmer tones. Would love to see an video using 2 of her palettes warm/cool that could create a look or looks that cool work together. Beautiful video keeping this in my list as reference..
I have most of Natasha's pallets, I find them more daily friendly. My favorites are Biba, Metropolis & Glam pallets. Yes, please more Natasha videos. Love how you break things down in your videos, friend! Good job!
I adore my Love palette and didn’t experience any of the issues that others did with it. I find the mattes easy to blend and not patchy. The only ND I didn’t enjoy was Safari - I really hated the formula sadly, and had to return it.
I'm light with a cool undertone and i absolutely love my Glam palette then Retro n Trichrome. I want to sell my Biba the colors just don't look good on me. The Trichrome is fantastic if you like the color story and have mature skin because you get a pop of color/shimmer yet it doesn't highlight texture. Plus if you apply with a light hand the colors are daily friendly on mature skin. ♡♡♡
Incredibly grateful for you and this video! You are such a great resource on deep dive videos and I can't wait for an updated ND palette tutorial series! Happy 37th Anniversary of your birth, and thank you for this wonderful, insightful, detailed and entertaining video!
What a video!! I’m sick in bed feeling awful and suddenly your video appears! 😍😍 I just start buying ND palettes and I get crazy in November last year a have none and by now I have 6 😅😅 your video help me to understand them better and I love them even more! Thanks Alicia! And happy birthday!! 🥳🥳 XOXO from México!
I had to pause this video to look at the ND palettes in my collection. I need to revisit Biba and Metropolis. Just when I thought I had enough ND palettes, here I am thinking about adding Star to my collection. I love these specific brand deep dives! It really keeps me from wanting and seeking the latest palettes and love what I already have! Keep up the great work. Thank you and my wallet thanks you, too!
I Love Love Love this video Alicia thanks for sharing our passion for ND, this video isn´t only the ultimate guide it´s a beautiful story about ND´s evolution and how she make us falling in love with every palette that she give us.
Started with the Tropic Palette. Enjoyed Natasha's palettes ever since. I would love more Natasha Denona videos on using these palettes we bought. Lmao
I salute you and all of the hard work and dedication it took to create this INCREDIBLE video!!! First and foremost happy birthday to the eyeshadow queen!!!! ❤️ secondly I absolutely love your deep dives into older ND and PMG because truly we have so much beautiful make up that deserves to shine and to be loved properly. I’m on a very tight low buy this year, and I will be looking forward to your revamped videos and tutorials, it’s as if you’re reading my mind 🥰❤️🥰
Cue the credits .....WOW Alicia, this was to YT what Gone With The Wind was to the film ind all those years ago!!! As much as I love and appreciation ND, my love and untold appreciation goes to you for doing this vid. The work you, very obviously, put into recording and editing is mind blowing 🤯 All I can say is "THANK YOOOOOOOOOOO" Love ya 💗💗💗💗💗
I have been eye the Lila palette for a long time, I love purple. Kept trying to talk myself out of it until I got the half off email from Sephora. I jumped so quick on it. Cannot wait to try this one. I love the color story. Great information as always in your videos. Thank you
Your makeup look is absolutely stunning. Simple yet so elegantly BEAUTIFUL! I love these long videos. I also really like how ND makes most of her palettes depottable and you can change it up or put them in z palettes!
The gold palette was my first ND palette and I fell HARD. I’ve bought so many palettes since then but I finally gave in to Lila. I didn’t hear great things about it but for some reason I was drawn to it. There’s something about the colors got me. They’re all so unique and I adore it. 🥰
Love this video. Can't wait for the tutorials. And also bummer... Metropolis has been on my wishlist so long. So I thought I would buy it right now. But it's discontinued 😭😭😭 Anyways, luckily I have many more and can't wait to use them with your tutorials.
Yes, prayers were answered! I now need a ranking please. 🥰 i did not expect you to approve Biba as my 1st large ND palette lol. Was trying to avoid it.
Love that this was also a history of Natasha Denona video haha. I don't have any of her palettes but I love these videos. I considered Metropolis but that one has gotten away. I actually like Triochrome for the mattes, but I'd need a sale for that haha. I just hope she will release something olive in the future because I would be all over that
Great video, very thorough. The evolution of Natasha Denona. Now I'm going to revisit some of my ND palettes. It's nice to revisit palettes we already have. Especially Great ones.
Yassss Queen this was beyond informative and extremely extremely thought out. You should 1000% be some kind of educator (outside of the RUclips platform) bc your knowledge is impeccable. If Pat Mcgrath and Natasha Denona haven't placed you on top of their PR list idk wtf their doing! Looking forward to you diving back into these and creating more looks! You definitely don't need to buy anymore eyeshadow fo life! Good thing it's your job so you can justify said future purchases! 😉 Have a great day!
This is amazing! Thank you so much Alicia. What a great video. So excited. The Star, The Green/Brown, and the gold are my favs by ND. Lila runs a close 2nd to the top 3. 🦋✨💕
Ok Ive rewatched this video & Ive decided to go with Biba, Sunset & Sunrise if those are all available. Honestly I want another gold tone/yellow centric palette. Something called “Golden Hour” would be wonderful ✨😩
Wow, so excited to begin watching this! I''ve decided that based on the information that you'll give here, I'll buy ONE palette, the one which is likely to suit me most.
23 minutes in and I'm pausing just to say that I don't think I've ever had so much fun watching a video about eyeshadows! Being a colour nerd in general and having recently discovered makeup, I could listen to you talking about these babies all day! So glad I found you. Thank you! Sending love
I bought my large 28-pan palettes in February 2016. It was through Beautylish. They had sold out in a secret shop and went on to do VIP Early Access twice in February.
I still dont know how to use safari but I love to look at it , it's just gorgeous. I love all my nd palettes but gold and metropolis are the most favourite on mine.
This eye look is amazing!! I think people forget about the Sunset palette but looking back even after the warm tone trend is over, I still think it's a classic and somehow still unique among all the warm neutral palettes out on the market
Girl, I’m addicted to your videos! No one , and I mean no one gives the detail of both information and lovely descriptiveness and enthusiasm that you do when talking about makeup! Your passion is contagious and I just want to thank you for re-exciting me about the makeup I already have instead of buying more and more!! ❤
You ran a marathon- so to speak. Congratulations! Because you are the go-to person for PML, I forget how knowledgeable you are with Natasha. I have and love Biba and Glam. Now you have me thinking about Retro.
I love this so much! And your idea to look back on previous palettes & create tutorials on them? YES!! I love that so much. Not sure if you’ve done it yet but I hope you do. I have a bunch of her palettes from pre-COVID & I’m really looking into starting to use makeup again. Lol
With all the single coloured style palettes (gold, biba, love, sunset, lila) a word could be said about colour theory too. I like nude neutrals (brownish) but my first explolarions with colour were a revelation (oranges, purples) because i have blue eyes and colour theory is a thing. I obviously can't resist greens and blues but for someone who wants to try colour, they could use colour theory to see what would be easier and more digestible for them. 🖤
This tutorial is one o your best by far and you are my favorite influencer by far. No one educates us like you. Yes there are other great influencers however the education you provide is by far the best. If more influencers would provide education I feel RUclips beauty videos would pick up their numbers. Yes I like a good review on a product however when you are assisting us by informing us of what each shad and or palette could bring, it sits higher above the rest! Thank you for this fantastic video as I just got out my Lila palette which was purchased on your review and IS by far my favorite ND palette to this day! keep up the fantastic videos Kinky Sweat as I LOVE THEM!
I don't have any of the big mammas. I have 3 of her smaller 12 pans (Sunrise, Bronze, Love) and the Glam Face palette. I do want the Gold Palette (big mamma) but I would love if she remade it into a smaller 12 pan palette. This video is great!
Hi Alicia, a bit late with watching the video but I wanted to thank you for an AWESOME job on this! I really appreciated the detailed breakdown of each palette as well as the 'back story' of each palette. I do have some, some I gave away like Sunset, Tropic & Safari and some I kept like Lila, Sunrise, Zendo & Glam. Star Palette however I just LOVE that one, it's my favourite one. So can't wait for your 5 looks 1 Palette video starring Star.. ;) Looking forward to more content!
Please can we see more with the gold palette she just cam back out with gold palette, the metropolis and the brown green palette please if you can do more with them all!!
Ok this is so weird! I literally just opened the RUclips app and thought I’d like to find a video looking at all of the Natasha Denona palettes, and this one just popped up on the feed! RUclips recommended videos was on point today haha 😂 xx
Thats OK ~
We LOVE U ~
The fact that you took the time and energy to do a video like this is totally awesome. No apology needed. ❤️
No,worries, my RUclips friend... this is so informative 👏👌.. thank you for all the information and help with explaining Natasha Denona formulas. the best way to use them.. I appreciate it so much.

Hell yeah!!! I’m here for these long ones. Love love love them!!!
Of course the most best of the best popcorn 🍿 coffee ☕ and make up pallets 🎨 my favorite things 😍😍😍

Makeup content has become pretty dry for me recently but you Alicia, you’ve got the makeup nerd in me hooked
I love that term…makeup nerd!! That’s me!!!

The cool matte colors in Lila are like those in the Viseart Liaison and Amethyst Theory palettes. My three fave purple palettes 🥰
😳 Is it your birthday?! Happy Birthday!!! 🥳🤗🍾🥂✨ I hope you have a wonderful day!!!
It is! Thank you, Britt!! 💕🥰
YES!! I just moved several into a Zpalate to make more of a winter blue palate for January!!

Hi Alicia!
Absolutely loved your ultimate ND guide!
Your knowledge and love for all the palettes was so helpful!!! 🥰
I hope she comes out with a midi gold palette this year! 🤞🏼
Susan
Probably not. But another Nude Palette is coming and a Pastel Palette as it seems (according to her Trademarks)
Watch a 1hr 40 min film? Nah I haven’t got the time or concentration today.
Watch a 1hr 40 min vid of Alicia talking about makeup? DAMN YES! Get me a coffee and a blanket QUICK TIME.
🤣🤣 Thank you, Tammy! You can watch it in 2x as well, as I know that helps!
@@aliciaarcher Truthfully I’m gonna enjoy every moment of the 1 hr 40. No speeding up happening at Vipond Towers. 🤣

An almost 100 min vid about Natasha's palettes ? My wallet is in danger haha
I would like to refer to this as a resource video 🤣
@Alicia Archer oh definitely!! Already liked and saved to a playlist !!!
This was the most thorough digestion of a brand's eye shadows ever and I completely enjoyed it. Yep. You gotsta do a lot of looks with ND now, like you've done with PM. How exciting for us! How much work for you 😃

Yay! You did the ND guide! Thanks Alicia! (In lieu of your great video guide of PM)
I'm a country girl and listened to this whole video while mucking out the goat barn. Thanks for the fantastic detail and thoughtful insight, Alicia!
I can’t believe I never caught the notification for this!! The ultimate guide indeed! Each time I’m on a low buy she brings out something new! She needs to bring Gold back.
I need to film with Gold! It’s been awhile since I opened that palette!

I would only starring at your beautiful eyes and not even know what’s behind you or your sweater. 😄. Love your videos. Very helpful.
YES!!!! Love this. Thank you for doing this monster of a video. ND is my favorite eyeshadow brand.
My boss just made my day… no my year! She complimented me on my eyeshadow ( I copied Alicia’s look in this video)! #overthemoon
I was SO late to Sunset. I bought it at 50% off early last year. Tried it a month later and kicked myself for waiting 😂😂😂
The work you, very obviously, put into recording and editing is mind blowing 🤯
All I can say is "THANK YOOOOOOOOOOO"
Love ya 💗💗💗💗💗
I replaced the blues, greens and one of the rust mattes in Tropic with the Cranberry 5 pan palette. Much better for me.
I have been eye the Lila palette for a long time, I love purple. Kept trying to talk myself out of it until I got the half off email from Sephora. I jumped so quick on it. Cannot wait to try this one. I love the color story. Great information as always in your videos. Thank you
Love this video! You for me are the best in creating looks and telling us how it is. This video is proof of that
Your makeup look is absolutely stunning. Simple yet so elegantly BEAUTIFUL! I love these long videos. I also really like how ND makes most of her palettes depottable and you can change it up or put them in z palettes!
I love how you went in release date order, it really helped show how her brand has changed over the years
I am a big N.D. fan...in love with LILA & GLAM palettes.
Thank you so much and.......Happy Birthday Alicia.🎉🎁 💗
The gold palette was my first ND palette and I fell HARD. I’ve bought so many palettes since then but I finally gave in to Lila. I didn’t hear great things about it but for some reason I was drawn to it. There’s something about the colors got me. They’re all so unique and I adore it. 🥰
Not me waking up to discover we are hanging out for almost 2 hours to talk about makeup 😍😍 yaaaas
Definitely LOVE how all off the thinking is done for you when you buy one of her pallets!! Another WONDERFUL upload.... thanks 😊
Gonna enjoy this video! ND is the reason why i am on a low buy/no buy eyeshadows. Got too many 😆
Metropolis is my fave! 😍 Still mad I missed out on Gold 😖 I may one day get Circo Loco 😜 And... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! 🥳🎂🥂
Love this video. Can't wait for the tutorials. And also bummer... Metropolis has been on my wishlist so long. So I thought I would buy it right now. But it's discontinued 😭😭😭
Anyways, luckily I have many more and can't wait to use them with your tutorials.
So sad I missed out on the Gold palette 😭
Your videos are so thorough..usage recommendations, application techniques, formula descriptions, color payoff.
I just hope she will release something olive in the future because I would be all over that
Please keep doing these videos- revisiting all of the fantastic makeup I already own!
PS. The Purple Blue also. I happen to enjoy her early formulas.
Ok Ive rewatched this video & Ive decided to go with Biba, Sunset & Sunrise if those are all available. Honestly I want another gold tone/yellow centric palette. Something called “Golden Hour” would be wonderful ✨😩
Sunrise was my first ND then I got love collection....then I got retro when it dropped and my heart is completely whole
This is such a treat. I would choose listening to you talk about my favorite brand over any Netflix show.
Lol
Thank you for such great video. It's been awhile since i've been entertained by a makeup video.
This is a community of sweater acceptance
💕🤣 And when I was editing, I knew you all would understand!
Yes, she has started from mini and went to midi. Both retro and Zendo started as minis and went to midis
I am so here for you getting your makeup nerd on ❤️
With all the single coloured style palettes (gold, biba, love, sunset, lila) a word could be said about colour theory too. 🖤
Happy Birthday Alicia! 🥳 What a video! Loved every minute of this, I just love the way you talk about eyeshadow!!! ♥️
This was an awesome video. Thank you so much for all your hard work and research. It was very interesting and informative.
Ohh and my fave ND palette is Biba 🙌 can use it everyday 👍 my looks are so quick , easy and I love the color story in it 👌💯
Just bought Lila it’s on sale right now 2/9/2022 at Sephora $64.50
Hi Alicia, a bit late with watching the video but I wanted to thank you for an AWESOME job on this! I really appreciated the detailed breakdown of each palette as well as the 'back story' of each palette. I do have some, some I gave away like Sunset, Tropic & Safari and some I kept like Lila, Sunrise, Zendo & Glam. Star Palette however I just LOVE that one, it's my favourite one. So can't wait for your 5 looks 1 Palette video starring Star.. ;) Looking forward to more content!
Omg! I resisted Retro this whole time but I think you swayed me😊. Great comprehensive video, as always.
