- My wife and I have decided to sell our home, Jeep, and leave ohio behind as we move to Seattle Washington to start over. This video should have been made earlier but at least it will catch everyone up with why we have been MIA this past year since we have been preparing for this move. We hope you all follow along as we continue to create new memories and show everyone what the west coast has to offer!

Hey Ben I'm glad for your new adventures, sad to see the jeep go ,but you never know what could be in store for you both.
This hurts me so much, it’s exactly what the wife and I did when moving west. Go down to one car, to save a bit of money. Biggest regret I ever had was selling our Wrangler. To make it worse, the we could have gotten almost 10k more selling in Washington over selling in Texas

It's been great watching your wrangler evolve. I does suck having to get rid of it, but it's understandable why. I've lived about 40 years in the area north of Seattle (about 50 miles). I've really like living here, however in the recent years I've noticed people have changed (may be because so many people have moved here), but there's so much more traffic, so much more road rage, and so much more homeless people (especially around downtown). You've probably heard the riots and crime around here (one local news source to hear what's going on in the area is KOMOnews.com). The housing costs near Seattle are outrageous and it just keeps going up every month!
I hope I don't make you worry, but I see the difference of how safe it used to be to walk around downtown and how it is now. Maybe it's that way just about any place these days anymore. So much to tell you, but you'll see for yourselves soon. Hopefully you are planning to take a break at nights and get some sleep. Oh, I recently sold my Rubicon JLU also (I found I could get more for my Jeep through Vroom than any local dealers around here). Anyway, things are tough and had to downsize. I enjoyed watching your videos and the ones where you had to decide and pick between the yellow and mojito helped inspire me to go for a Jeep. Wish you guys the best and stay safe. Look forward to hear how you get to like it in Washington.

Wow, hard to believe that you're selling the Jeep but sometimes those tough decisions just need to be made, a sure sign of maturity. As always, disregard the usual naysayers who have nothing else to do. Sounds exciting moving to Seattle, and I commend you for taking on this long road trip to accommodate the four-legged member of your family. I'm sure you guys will have a great time. All big changes bring their challenges but I think going for new projects, new places, is what makes life great. Have a great trip. Of course, I will keep following as you take on this odyssey, can't wait until you get the new Wrangler.

I’ll get another one in the future, but for right now it doesn’t make sense for us. We’ve never lived in a “downtown” before so we are looking forward to city life for a bit but hope to move further out after a year or so

Seattle? I am in the area you might want to try another location. Seattle has basically legalized all drugs, prostitution, theft, and vandalism. Jobs are leaving Seattle because the city council is not business friendly. Seattle has had the highest rise in shootings and murder by shootings. The taxes are ridiculous, I have a green JL like yours and it costs $650 a year in tabs. Gov Inslee is looking to enact a capital gains tax on all of Washington.

But Seattle has become a total shit show. A beautiful state that has unfortunately fallen. Just like CA and many others. I’d rather setup shop in OHIO (Wyoming, Montana or Idaho) all day long, than live on the west coast in these liberal infested zombie towns. Just sayin.
