I make my scrunchies with the second method, and for anyone who does them that way too, use a big crochet hook to grab the fabric from the inside, its SO much faster ❤️
Just made some of the childrens one for my nieces birthday 😊 turned out great and making more tomorrow for my other niece. They love the ones i made for my daughter who now wants mini satin ones 😊
Great tutorial! I also realized that you can put the elastic on the pin before you turn the fabric right-side out, that way you are doing two steps at once. Although it would probably be faster to do it the original way when making them in bulk.

I love everything you do but the United States is not in the metric system and I have to look up the inches all the time so I like it when you say the inches to thank you for all your videos I watch them all
Hi taylah thanks for the tutorial I’m just wondering if once you measure the elastic would we need to cut it abit longer for when we tie the knot for example if you cut 6 inch elastic for the kids size an then tie it at the end it’s much smaller so it would be about a 4 inch if that makes sense

I think the kid size might also be really nice for half up hairstyles.

Before I sew the opening closed, this is where I insert my label. That way the elastic is free to move.

Centimeters is on measuring tape.

I just cut 6 and tie the not I don’t add any extra 😃 but do what feels right for you
I use wide elastic as I saw that you do. Would you use thin for mini Scrunchies or can I still use wide? X

Never! I use very small stitching tho which is why it doesn’t come apart ☺️ between 0-1mm on my machine

Divide the cm by 2.54 and that’s inches.
