Aussie Rules Football needs and deserves more TV coverage in America

As an American who does know the rules and has followed AFL for more than a decade, I think his responses reflect the natural appeal of the sport. Even when somebody doesn't know what's going on, they know whatever it is is really good.

I just love the fact that you Americans actually love it. It's gaining support in England too.

@@callofduty3807 It certainly is! I'm from the south of England; carn the Dons! The footy bug bit me just after last year's season finished up; it's been super weird, I've never been a sit down and watch a game kind of a bloke, but hey, footy got me there. And if I can't watch, I'll listen on AFL Nation on Thursday and Friday mornings at work.

I'm an Australian who grew up in Queensland before AFL was big here. I'm really starting to appreciate it by watching the American and English people embrace it . I think it's awesome you guys are falling in love with the very skillful game. A couple of my friends grew up playing it and I've watched a few grand final games with them. It's a high speed non stop action game.

We all did it in PE along side footy at some stage I’m sure so it’s weird they didn’t see the comparison literally how they teach us in juniors to handball.
