Thanks Richard, Edgar and friends for this long-format video with so many fruit! These multi-variety tastings are an invaluable resource for those of us who don't live in an area where we can taste a variety before we purchase the plant. Having multiple tasters' inputs is always a bonus (mainly so we don't have to try to judge a fruit's flavor based solely on the different ways Richard says "Wooowww guys, Oh. My. Gosh!) It's always an honor to see Edgar make an appearance, and we hope that the commercial dragonfruit farmer's business proves successful so we can start seeing quality USA-grown fruit replacing the bland imported varieties that give dragons their undeserved reputation as a tasteless fruit. But most of all, congrats on your new baby!! It's a good thing dragonfruit are such forgiving plants because you may have to decide between watering your plants, or getting an hour of sleep before the baby wakes you up again!
Thank you so much for putting these time stamps together!!! ❤️
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏 for this timestamp breakdown! I didn't always hear the variety name. 😍
Bless you 💖
Where can we buy some of these plants?
This fruit is awesome
All dragon fruits in the store are very expensive, I was thinking grow it my own.
what happened was
Recently a local homeowner opened up his yard and let me pick some orange cacti in his yard and I can tell you that for years I have only bought red cacti in the store, but the orange ones taste It looks like it's out of this world. I can’t believe so many summers are spent eating red, but orange prickly pear is the sweetest with little spikes.
Prickly pear actus orange fruit is a fruit from heaven.
Edgar lookes so happy. I love when he smiles at the camera
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK RICHARD, GOING TO HAVE TO GET CUTTINGS FROM YOU ONE DAY, YOUR PASSION WAS ME TEN YEARS AGO.MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU AND CONGRATS ON YOUR LITTLE ONES
As a person who is 1 yr into learning about growing, pollinating etc the video WAS SO HELPFUL! I so much appreciate the tidbits of great information Edgar provided. Working on expanding my dragonfruit offerings on Pine island in SW FL and this video is key to helping me select known varieties I'd like to add. Currently I have no idea what we have. Thank you to all who participated in putting this video together! 🙏🙏🤗
I like the old spanish guy in the middle. He has a cool accent and a lot of good wisdom too
Lots of love for the older folks❤️
Interesting to see all these varieties. I love how passion for fruits and plants can unite all ages.
I like seeing all the old timers reactions and the knowledge they are sharing. Richard, they are passing the torch to you. You have been a Mentor to me and thousands of others that have been watching. Respect.
Thank you to these 4 legendary people in the dragon fruit world. I am at awe for all that you do.
81 years strong 💪! Man, I hope I can meet the legend. Thanks for sharing and great job on the A6. And, congrats on the new baby. 👏
I could watch the old man in the middle eat and talk dragon fruit all day. I've learned more listening to him in this one video than all I've watched online so far (I'm currently in the process of germinating my very first little seedlings) in hopes to be able to raise up some little cactus to that big beautiful palm like trellis you built for them
🎉❤I love Dragon Fruit.
This was an awesome video Richard! Super excited about the a6!

Great Job guys, loved the information in the video.
Great to see you 4 together! Thank you for sharing your collective expertise. May I suggest to Edgar to name the Asunta 6 after you, Richard, since you were so instrumental in bringing it to fruit quickly through grafting, and/or your daughter... maybe the RichLe or Riley? 😉

Dragon fruit looks so cool. I wish I liked them more, but store bought are kind of bland and not too sweet. I wish I could try one you’d recommend. Can’t find many here in Oregon though.
Where can i get seeds of different Varieties
excellent information, I would like to contact you to visit them. Greetings from Peru.🇵🇪
Como consigo esquejes
I have a bunch of the Mexico fruit that wasn’t dragon fruit. But I can’t seem to find it by the name you called. Flowers and will have like 20 blooms in a night on Mother’s Day and then on Labor Day every year.
I found it “night blooming cereus.” I eat the fruit all the time. I will prob try crossing it with dragon fruit some day. I just need to get some dragon fruit now.
Ordered an American beauty cutting going to try to graft it to a cereus and root it as well.
I have a question.. is it possible to graft with a young root stock or does the root stock have to be a mature one?
Where can we buy the cuttings on the new varieties?
I live in southern CA where can I get different varieties?
Which one the really sweet pink/purple ones?
Which varieties are your TOP 5 ?
Does asunta 5 and sherbet have same flower?
I want to be happy but getting any Asunta cutting is already difficult. lol
video was too long and needed to be edit. No final winner results.
I want the asunta 6. Where do i get them?
What are the parents of Asunta 5?
How can I purchase some of these plants.

😋😋 😋
Where and how can i get cuttings of these here in the Philippines. or any1 willing to ship cuttings to the philippines? Thanks. We have a chunk of lot somewhere here in Benguet, and Im planning to grow Dragon Fruit there.
What are you measuring?
The meter tests for solids, sugar content, in the juice. Look up Brix meter. The higher the number, the more dissolved sugar, the sweeter. You can use on most fruits and vegetables.
How to buy this plants...I am from india
👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌
Out of the super high brix rated dragon fruits, which ones are self fertile?
A video is only worth your experience at a single sitting, but I think Delight was really up there in this one.
