    This yin yoga class will focus on the small intestine meridian to help with the overstimulation that highly sensitive people experience. We will also explore the ways that the four principles of yin yoga: finding your appropriate edge, being still, softening and staying in the poses for five minutes in this class can help you to stimulate the small intestine meridian and deal with the overstimulation that is part of the highly sensitive person’s day to day experience.
    The small intestine is about sorting the pure from the impure. This is not only about taking the best nutrients from our food and moving along the waste, but also digesting the best of the mental, emotional and energetic of our lives and letting go of the rest. Because highly sensitive people process more and more deeply, making sure that the small intestine meridian system is balanced can help support the overstimulation that they experience. Physically this class will stimulate the upper back and shoulders.

    I love people a lot I truly do. I had my awakening and I am finding out I am high sensitive person. Not able to deal with a lot or negative emotions from others. It makes me feel like I am ready to crawl out of my skin and I am trying to deal with it properly. So I can be around others and support them when they need that support.
    When I am overwhelmed the nervous system is out of balance and I start feeling drained and not sure how to deal with it yet. I know I will be able to since I have guidance.
    My guidance told me to search for yin yoga for sensitive people and I am so glad I did.
    I be using this daily and at nights to help me.

    Wow! Your HSP series is helping me understand myself properly. To hear validation for the need to take rest from overstimulation is hugely supportive. So often, the need to rest us seen as a weakness. Thank you so much Melissa xx

    As someone who knows very little about these poses, it would be so helpful to have you explain a bit more at the beginning of each pose to be sure we are doing them correctly. I highly recommend all read Dr Aron's book. Since no one in my family is a HSP, her book helped me to understand myself better.

    I practiced this class after my morning walk in Antigonish Nova Scotia. The overstimulation of the last year craves a quiet and calm life again. Having the time for this class felt awesome. Namaste
