+Maximiliam Andersson Yeah! I love your work man. I suggest you to do a "155" drum lesson. There are no drum lesson of this song on the internet and I think is a cool beat that probably many of us can´t play by ear. Keep it up :)
This is absolutely epic 👌 travis barker Grooves are just the best and the most fun I have only recently discovered your channel sorry I’m late to the party haha.
Awesome tutorial! I can now play this bc of you - thank you!! Just can’t figure out the drum part in the “please stay, until I’m gone...” part. Can you show that too please? Awesome vid!
Thanks a lot! Ah, that part is interesting.. There are many ways of playing it, but I don't have it transcribed! I'd suggest slowing down covers or live performances on youtube!
Steve! In no way did it come off in that way, I was just being fun, hence the smiley! Hard to understand the tone of my response through text, so I apologize for that. I did in no way get offended, and I understood the intention behind what you said. So again, I apologize for making you feel bad.
I watched this video 4 years ago, and in those years I barely touched any drums. But now I just got my e-drums and in less than 10 mins I got it. Thank you so much for this sick beat🙌 it means a lot to me ngl
just found out about this video. its pretty cool. the layout of the lesson (slowly building) is awesome. i slow it down and it feels like an intro to a rock concert. (one note and putting stuff on top of it). so this can actually be used like that!
This is great, I learn songs on drums through drum covers on RUclips. This was surprisingly harder than I thought and it was nice to actually learn it.
Great Lesson Bro... really enjoying all your videos very cool stuff man wish you all the best!!! not usually one to ask for requests but would love to see you do one of the new Angels and Airwaves songs off chasing shadows! such a great EP if you haven't already been thrashing it (o:
Thanks, Simon! I have checked it out indeed - and it's got a couple of sweet tracks for sure! Overload and Chasing Shadows are the personal favorites off that one. It's possible I'll be covering them! Last time when they released TDW I was the first one to cover the single Paralyzed, not as on top of it this time, hehe. We'll see, maybe! There are so many songs off WDNTW that I'd love to cover as well.
yeah man The War would be killer to!!! Chasing shadows in my fav of the ep just great hooks and song writing.. anyways man looking forward to seeing some more of your stuff (o:
Sometimes it's 'easier' to play faster - but being able to play things slow let's you know that you're actually in control. Generally when we only can play things fast, there are some sloppy things going on in there that's just harder to hear because of notes moving faster :)
It's amazingly understandable lesson, thanks a lot, bro! p.s. I have no idea how it was possible to understand this groove structure without any notes, tabs, lessons.. :D
Didn't watch the video, just wanted to say I was scrolling through my recommended feed, saw the thumbnail and thought "Damn, that girl is pretty!" I then looked closer and reevaluated my sexuality.
I can see where you're coming from! My personal belief is that as long as the sound works, whatever you're using works. Fur durability reasons and visuals, switching them out would make sense. I was very happy with sound and sustain though - so switching them out might have caused a longer sustain, etc! The snare head should soon be switched though :) Thanks, Riley!
Amazing lesson!!! We want more travis barker´s lessons!!!
Hey, thanks! If you say so, sure, there can be more!

@@maxadrums lol yeah I’ve done that. I’m trying to do it with doubles - I may just not be fast and smooth enough yet. Are u doing doubles?
For the fast section of it - yes! Doubles :) But it works either way, doubles or not. Just a tad smoother with doubles, and makes more sense.
@@maxadrums awesome, thnx so much. Love ur videos and thnx for the tip - keep it up!
This is just awesome! I love how you slowly build it up... Makes the learning process way easier... :)

Travis is a genius. Simple as that.
Great!
I'd like to learn No Future - Blink 182 - 1° groove.
Greetings from Rio Brazil!
Thanks, Marcos!
That's a cool groove for sure. Very interesting and unique! :)
Awesome lesson. For some reason I can't play it at 106 but as I speed it becomes easier.
Sometimes it's 'easier' to play faster - but being able to play things slow let's you know that you're actually in control. Generally when we only can play things fast, there are some sloppy things going on in there that's just harder to hear because of notes moving faster :)

Sube el tutorial always de blink 182
Good stuggestion!
It's amazingly understandable lesson, thanks a lot, bro!
p.s. I have no idea how it was possible to understand this groove structure without any notes, tabs, lessons.. :D
Александр Королев
use an app to slow it down and you can separate the different parts
Amazing Lesson but the transcription link doesnt work??
Hello, Jarrod! Should be working now!
Didn't watch the video, just wanted to say I was scrolling through my recommended feed, saw the thumbnail and thought "Damn, that girl is pretty!" I then looked closer and reevaluated my sexuality.
HAHA!!
🎉🎉🎉
Is this a bad first song to learn ?
It's definitely a tricky one for a beginner!
Keet i up
For sure!

Huh!
thanks dude :D.

Anytime! Thanks!
x2 sounds like actual song
Haha, yup! That's a great sign :)
Would have helped if you had a metronome indicating one, but otherwise good lesson.
Not a bad idea!
Goddamnit I can cover mars volta songs but I cant get that fking offbeat when played to track speed! OMG
Different skills, buddy! Just keep at it!
i think you need a new rack tom head lol
Why - what's up? Do you think it sounds bad?
No its sounds dope but i thought i saw pits in the head? Anyways great lesson though
I can see where you're coming from! My personal belief is that as long as the sound works, whatever you're using works. Fur durability reasons and visuals, switching them out would make sense.
