I liked Senua's Sacrifice and I was very disappointed with the sequel. Great graphics isn't everything, and the game fell short of expectations in almost every other aspect. Story and athmossphere were still pretty good, but the depiction of a character who is suffering from psychosis, which was the strongest point of the original, fell flat in the second game due to other characters often being present and reacting to the supernatural stuff. Thus it lacked the ambiguity of what was real and what was only playing in Senua's head that made the first game so impactful. The combat was a bad joke. Yeah, it was "cinematic", which means it was made to look great in a trailer or youtube video, but the actually game mechanics are monotonous, repetitive and required zero skill. They could as well have replaced every combat with cutscenes and the game wouldn't have been much worse for it. The puzzles also got repetitive quickly, with the encounters with the giants being the only somewhat original thing that stood out. The biggest letdown was how short the game was. Even of you take your time looking for the (pretty pointless) collectables, it still takes 8 hours max to get through the game and the worst thing about it that the game STILL feels bloated with repetitive puzzles and unnecessarily long walking simulator parts. It's an 8 hour game that had only enough substance for about 4 hours. I'm glad that I could play it on gamepass with no additional costs. If I had actually paid for the game, I would certainly have felt scammed. The game could have been a great visual novel, but instead it tried to be an action adventure and failed miserably.
@@xstrmex6060 True. I have a pretty high end gaming PC (or one that was high end 2 years age) and even I had to switch game settings to dynamic frame rate to make it run OK. I didn't mention that because the graphics really ARE stunning, so that kind of issues is to be expected. But on the other end, you could well list overindulgent show off graphics as a flaw rather than a strength when it means that you can't run the game properly with average and/or slightly outdated hardware. Especially if the game does so little with those outstanding graphics gameplay-wise. I don't need hyper-realistic fog effects and I don't need to see every crack and every lichen on a natural rock formation to be immersed in a game.
03:43 Black Myth Wukong truly perfect experience...
Harrison Ford didn't provide Indy's voice for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
It was Troy Baker (a.k.a. the voice of Joel from The Last of Us).
Playing Banishers now. Loving this game.
Happy New Year everyone.
Banishers is such an underrated game and has a really dark storyline.
The Voice is Troy Baker folks I promise😊
Alone in the Dark - Yes.

I thought this voice was Adam Scott

Wish I could agree. 5 years into the current generation now and not a single game has budged my needle.
I love the pathetically click-baity thumbnails people have to use to get views…
Indiana Jones looks good till first persone🤮
uh can we stop already making games with weird 3rd person console camera? Its ALWAYS gonna have crap combat on pc
Lol, neither in this life, nor in the next. Console camera 😂😂🤦♂️
A plagues tale didn’t make the list?
Why would a 2022 game make it to the 2024 games list?
