Very well explained without any filters. It great you kept it raw and organic with a great hold of words. Thanks for putting up the map too. Keep growing.
The last time i visited Mcleod Ganj which was many years ago i caught a night sleeper train from Delhi which arrived in Pathankot around 5 next morning, a bus journey from there to our destination. The train journey made the trip so much easier. Will hopefully be making another visit from the UK in 2024. Great video by the way.
Very well made presentation and very helpful too. It was unhurried and easy-paced, with a matter-of-fact commentary, I particularly liked your asides ! 🙂 Question: You did not cover much of Dharamshala, as you only stuck to Dharamkot and McLeodganj. Any particular reason?
No reason as such but its just that mostly I go to a place and be there for the entire trip. Little lazy to go around 😁McLeodganj was just 2 kms away by walk, so explored a bit of it too.
Such a great vlog. Im planning to go there solo next week. I was a bit scared n hesitant at first, but looking at your vlog, i think I'll enjoy it there. Please let me know any other tips if you can. Cheers!
One tip I would like to give is that you get private rooms starting at 200rs per day. So if you want to stay by yourself you have good options around. Zostel is a best option if you are looking for an hostel. Don't just get into random cafe's as a lot of them are just average. If you want to go trekking be ready with the gear as there are chances of unexpected rains.
600 is still cheap for taxi. If you can drink alcohol (600 for just beer) and spend money on that why not give a 100 extra to someone who's working hard. If you find Chandigarh deserted in the night, you will find the West Coast of USA- all cities big and small- deserted 24/7. Seeing that one Auto and few people on the roads in the night there would seem busy to West Coast US humans. What's the name of your hostel? Wonder if it's open for families or just single adults? If one has to go to India, one would prefer Indian food. It's the best there. Dal lake is gorgeous, why take it off the list. It has a unique habitat- less water or more.
I went in May and yes you do get cars from and to Zostel but auto's don't come up to Zostel. If you wan't to go in an auto then you have to walk a little to the point where autos come.
bhai woh sabb toh theek hai par scoring ka kya scene tha?? Great v-log though!! looks like my stay will be better than I was expecting. am flying there tomorrow toh any heads-up to score itsy-bitsy for person use will be much appreciated and since i'll be flying out too I won't be needing more than half of the tea. Thanks.
I visited a month ago and it had started raining then so I guess it will be a proper rainy season there now. You won't be able to do treks there if it is raining, can chill at cafes though.

Bro you play with words amazingly ....
great video. so full of content and no fillers!
any recommendations for secluded cafes like sunset?
I actually don't have any recommendations but you can try Young Monk Cafe and the cafe at Zostel (first floor), both are less crowded
Enjoyed it
Thanks bhai from andheri here

How is the weather in first week of October? Good for a solo trip?
If you like cold climate than yes its a good time. It will hardly rain but temperature might fall to 5-6 degrees.

How is the trek back from sunset cafe in the dark? Are there lights on the way? Any recommendations?
There are hardly any lights on the way. We used the mobile torch to get down. Then again, it's an experience.
