I couldn’t agree more about that liner note statement. I think that’s one of the reasons people reverted back to vinyl. With all the streaming services and downloading it really changed the way people consume music. The art and the liner notes added a visual element that appears to be missing. Buying a physical copy of an album gave you something tangible to explore. I’ve purchased records because I saw the label that the band was on or the person that produced the album. The liner notes was also a way to find similar artists that they thanked because they often toured with those artists.
I actually really enjoy videos like this and the Amoeba version doesn't get a lot of artists I recognize or care for very much, so the more series like this the merrier, I say!
Austin Harvey I've watched a bunch of the Amoeba and there are some interesting and some kinda disappointing, but these guys know their shit besides making such top-notch music.
I could watch an hour of Intronaut talking records.
Make this a series PLEASE
Ameoba has a series similar to this called What's In My Bag.
+10 points for the Gracie Jiu Jitsu hoodie

Totally stole this idea from Amoeba but I'm okay with a metal version.

+Inspector Kemp I like a lot of the artists I've seen on Amoeba but they're definitely lacking metal artists so I agree completely. I'd love more.
