I just turned 47 and I think ive only ever seen 1 or maybe 2 Big Dodges from 69. In comparison 67-68s have been well preserved. Thanks for showing this very authentic CHP Dodge.
Weirdly, I was given an '88 GF police car last June and won an '88 Diplomat AHB at an estate auction last month for $254.20 after fees & taxes. One is a southern Maryland car, the other a Benton County (Washington State) car from the desert
Great to see you two keeping all this classic old iron from becoming something melted down and "re-purposed" by Toyo Kogyo or some such. If Elena had been writing more of the stuff in HR, CC and the like, I would likely still be a subscriber. An honest, talented and independent minded scribe did make a big difference to those rags, er, publications, and could have made a bigger difference to the good, if such a thing had been allowed. Thank you for being a bright spot in your field, Ms Scherr. I hope that this yT stuff goes well for you both.
That's a really nice Polara, though sorry to hear about your friends passing. Hence the poetic irony in 'our car'- don't let it get away again. Going by the 90s era 9C1, is it a safe bet the white square body caprice is a 9C1 as well? Hope it was a good Christmas for you guys.
Really wishing my 1971 Polara was in that nice of shape. One day it will be in great shape, but for now she’s torn apart and awaiting rust repairs (after I finish my Shelby Dakota). Mine was bought new by my great grandmother, original Light Gunmetal Grey with a 383 2bbl and A/C, and sat for 25 years until I got it as a high school graduation gift
Very nice cars, sorry to hear about your friend, you’ll always have the cars to remember him by. My brother has the motor from a 69 dodge police interceptor, got it from the junkyard when they scrapped them out here in CT. What is the specs on those motors?
Well it looks like your friend left the car in good hands. The car looks like it's in perfect shape. Yeah I'm not claiming to be an expert on Chrysler police interceptors. Just talking about what look like in the video as you showed it. I've got my buddies old collector vehicle. What it is is an important this is about your friends love for this car and how he wanted it kept. Amazing how a few tons of iron can store so much memory and even come part of a legacy of what is Left behind. The car looks great.
New to the channel - Might sound like an odd request.. How about a video of that Toyota Forklift? I used to work on them and have never seen one that old! Very cool - great videos :)
It’s got a cop motor, cop tires, cop shocks, cop suspension… but, does the cigarette lighter work?
That's funny. We're definitely testing that in the next video. - T

Love this because I'm a big fan of any police vehicles. don't have any of my own yet. Can't wait to see more!
Wow. Always great content. Sporadic, but that’s understood in advance and reasonable.
My dad got a green 69 Plymouth VIP at LA Sheriff’s auction. It had the swivel lights just like your Polara. It was a real sleeper car.
Got a 69 CHP car last year…it’s in a lot worse shape. Trev has one too on the property.
This is an awesome car!
As a reward can I came out and do some Rockford's in the Big Dodge?🙏
Top end... Unlimited

How about that video of Caprice?

9C1's are littering our yard - T
@@Challengeher LMAO as we both know that's bullshit!! Can't have to many 9C1s, or other equal level ex cop cars.

Quite a tease maneuver lifting the cover and having the hood popped... luckily for all watching you lifted it all the way!!! ;-)

Pretty standard 440 magnum as used in the Charger R/T. 375 hp and 480 lbs Torque - T

Absolutely! Thanks for watching. - T
Only 120 mph speedometer.
Actually is says 140 but my filming was lousy! - T
I get no sound from this video, ugh
Might be a speaker setting on your computer.
Personally I blame.....squirrels
Tom greetings from Australia.
I am extremely curious as to what the wagon is in the corner. As I am mad for a great wagon. 👍
The wagon is a '69 Plymouth Satellite originally 318 powered but has a 383 in it now - Another project!
Oh the irony! I see why you didn't want the one by me.... and it was rusty.
