I love that they are showcasing Omaha, but the question "is the Tomahawk a ribeye" was the dumbest thing I've ever heard. No, dude, it's a sirloin 🤪🤪. Of course it's a Ribeye. Its a gigantic Ribeye on an 18 inch rib. Other than that. I loved the video. In my opinion, a steak house near Omaha called "Round the bend" is the absolute best in the area.
A sirloin, you say? You must have a PhD in beefology! Thanks for the insight-I'll be sure to give "Round the Bend" a visit and maybe take notes for the next steak showdown!
See? That's why we travel. To show the locals where to eat. 😉Ah, the beauty of discovery! Next time, we’ll make a road trip to explore more places you’ve never heard of!
Personally, there is a place just west of Omaha that is called Farmer Browns. I think their steak is the best, at least from a Prime Rib standpoint as that is all I have ever had there. Farmer Browns does not do as well with their sides including Bread.
Lived Omaha my whole life, ( Omaha Steaks mail order company steaks are horrible) please don’t compare them to steaks you get in restaurants in omaha they are totally different categories. The Drover is amazing , so is the 801 Chop house, flemmings, Spencer’s, and if you really want a good T- bone Johnnys in south omaha on L street has great ones.
"Comparing Omaha Steaks to local joints is like comparing a toaster to a gourmet kitchen-both serve a purpose, but only one is a culinary masterpiece!"
I live in Omaha have had omaha steaks and i get better steaks from my local farmer and they are $2.35 per lb at least the last half beef i bought was. 😂😂
Wow everything from the fresh salad bar, bread, and steak looked amazing!
Thanks, Misty. It's a tough job trying out all that delicious food, but someone's got to do it! 😀
My yearly treat for my birthday dinner. Love this place.
The food was all excellent!

Brother Sebastians in Omaha is great for steaks also.
We'll try it next time we're there.

Who knew you could find steaks that good for such a steal? Your local farmer must have some magic cows!
They have good food but it's pricey. There's other places that have very decent steaks but are cheaper.
Ah, the classic dilemma: pay for the steak or pay for the experience? Sometimes, the side dishes can be just as satisfying!
South Dakota steaks boss
We haven't been there yet. Gotta try them someday.
@@steveandyoung
They have kill plants for beef there.
Alot of South Dakota corn feed beef goes there.
Omaha Steaks over rated.....
@@frankkirby2467 They're pretty good, but I would agree.
