It's not a direct sampling. They used the same guitar chords which is why they sound similar. If the OG artist didn't get credit for this, then they can actually get into hot water if he decides to sue. I'm not usually into plagiarism accusations, being that most are definitely unfounded (which is why it never ends getting legal action taken), but this time..... let's pray the original artist got or gets compensated before he presses charges and it causes a media stir.

How did you know that HYBE didn't pay??You should know that hundreds of thousand composer, lyricists..etc. Are submitting their works to HYBE@@Verowinday777
This is not sampling.
@@Ear-ms6edmaybe hybe has bought the rights???
Now ILLIT is AGAINST plagiarism how many times, it gets busted 💀
It is not plagiarism tho... Its the same sample... Hybe artists cannot catch a break istg
Today is only harder to find new melodies without copying. This is NOT a massive copy. And that it is totally fine, after they still go with a newer melody and a different type of singing pattern.
It's not ILLIT who should be accused, BE:LIFT it is.
You guys refuse to praise and stan producers when you find a good song which was obviously not made by idols. If idols get all the credit from things they didn't do, they should also get the blame for things they are not guilty of. That's what being the face of a product is.
If you don't like it, you have to stop acting like idols make music, and start praising and stanning producers who make the music you like, not the idols who have nothing to do with it and just perform it like any other random group could do just the same.
@@charred6683🙏finally,someone with an actual brain. Tired of these NPCs booth lickin some chics who don't even care abt em
EVen western artist have said its hard to come up with stuff that don't sound similar to other songs.
i feel like we've forgotten what plagiarism vs inspiration is.
No.
Can y'all give ILLIT a break?
Nope. Hope they disband asap.
Yes They should take a break and start vocal training. Hybe should hire a new producing team. I think they have 100 copy accusations since day one. Better to hire creative people then give them a comeback😂
Name a kpop group that doesn't use Sample at all,Does it exist?
even if it was plagiarism that isn't the girls faults ?? 😭😭
Right like blame the producers, not the girls
Unfortunately they're the ones who receive all the hate because they're the face out there in front of all the critiques
They're the face of what is posted (music, etc.) so of course they're going to be who people comment about
And when song viral in good way people don’t want to praise kpop idol and only think to discredit them
But when the song get hate it’s become the idols fault
Kpop idol biggest enemy is kpop fans
@@floweryquette Will you praise the producers instead of the girls if the song is good? You know that if a song is good it's PRIMARILY because of producers and not performers, right? You're aware of this well known fact, right? Are you ready to stan producers instead of puppet idols doing what producers tell them to do?
Yeah I didn't think so.
If this is plagiarism why aren’t people talking about how Bubblegum sounds like Shakatak Easier Said Than Done? Stop this nonsense 🤦♀️
It's sad how much shit they're being dragged through since even before their debut, like let them rest plz!! Their songs are so good 😭
Jealous people is crazy. They can hate them as much as they want, but they will never be as successful as ILLIT
Now haters are searching ever corner and nook to hate ILLIT
They want ILLIT to disband at this point
Oh we don't have to search. Illit gives all the reasons to laugh at them effortlessly.
@carnianpluvial7126 can you honestly stfu like I saw you in multiple replies flaming Illit
The fact that they're fussing over ILL-IT, like this never happened in the KPOP.
Hybe who made that song but illit is the one who got the hate
I was expecting people to say illlit copied new jeans...
It sounds similar but it’s still not plagiarism it’s more like sampling if it was plagiarism the artist would’ve sued BeLift
LOL what the fucking retardation did I just read.
Literally every song is plagarized then 💀💀💀
The kids don’t even write their own songs or care to. They don’t care if their writers plagiarize cause they are in it for the fame not the music
HYBE made them dirty by getting a lot of controversies such as plagiarism, bad vocals due to not being given good trainees, etc. Please give them space to breathe, I love their songs, and give them time to learn more and give us concepts, choreography, songs etc that are different from newjeans and some other artists who are involved in this controversy. They don't deserve all of this, especially since they haven't matured enough to solve this problem.
Nothing is plagiarized, new jeans doesn’t own the y2k or youth concept. Bts was doing the youth concept over a decade ago. As for the girls in this group, y’all voted them in with RU next
@@Lisa-qm5bc I agree with you. And for RU next, literally 4 of the members are picked by the judges, and only 2 are picked by us.
I just hate them for the fact they can't sing at all live. If you watch their encore it sounds like someone doing karaoke
@@rikaachxr which ones? I never watched the show but I know it was really popular. I’m so confused with the lineup, why can’t most of them sing
@@Lisa-qm5bc Wonhee ( 1st) and Youngseo ( 2nd) are picked by fans. The other four ( Minju, Iroha, Moka, Yunah) are picked by the judges. That time the big6 ( fan's fav) for the lineup are Jiwoo, Jeemin, Chanelle, Yunah, Minju, and Youngseo. Which is why RU next got a lot of hate for the " rigged lineup".
Well, let’s see here… the first ever song created was probably the Hurrian Hymn which was created in 13 Century B.C. Since then there have been estimated 97-230 million songs released in the world so far and approximately 1.6 million songs are created every year. In addition, there are only 12 musical notes. Whether we like or not some musical phrasings are gonna sound similar. Unless we somehow discover or invent a new set of musical tones (which I don’t think it possible), somethings tells me this issue isn’t going to go away 😅
let these poor girls breathe 😭
yeah aloooot similar
Sampled and interpolated, not plagiarized.
Do people not realize that there are only so many melodies and that they’re bound to repeat eventually?
that’s what you get when you create a survival show that is rigged, with girls that haven’t trained much, then debuting them right after the show without any more training🤗
Dude only they can't stay without hate for one minute like they are getting hate since they were formed and now they are hated for everything concept outfits...
Like leave them alone 😭
They went trough soo much during runext just to be hated and critisezed every hour with new reasons
as an OG wrecks fan who started listening to them on bandcamp before their first tours, this is such a weird experience 😅
people too often think inspiration is the same as plagiarism
One thong people forget is alot of songs have a sample track that anyone can use and alot of people do that's why some songs sound similar because they all use the same type
Do people realize that different songs can have the same melody but can be different
these girls can NOT catch a break 😭
GET THIS CLEAR. They sound similar because they follow a similar beat, its not plagiarism
This is not the first plagiarism problem by Belift, check Enhypen's plagiarism scandal too
They do sound similar
If anything I think it sounds more similar to She’s Kinda Hot by 5sos. But that riff is a super common sample, it’s in a lot of songs so I don’t think you can really call it plagiarism
this is the stupidest I’ve seen this month -some people are just clowns🤡
Bet this person hasn’t gotten a good sleep in like 16 years because the heck they sayin 💀
For me lucky girl syndrome sounds like a nursery rhyme😂😂😂 ( no hate to illit it's just my opinion)
Y'ALL ARENT GIVING MY GIRLS ANY REST EVER SINCE DEBUT 😭
These peoples need tocunderstand a thing called SAMPLES and i feel really bad for the girls
Is this what Bangsit hyuk meant when he said they're gonna be the nxt bp? That they're gonna be the gg with the most haters? So many plagiarism controversies, wth is the company doing🤦♀️
He never said that lol. That was made up by the media. Be careful posting misinformation. Hybe is suing anyone for defamation
Leave these girls alone😔❤
Their careers are only just getting started and they are already receiving so much hate
I HAVE NEVER LAUGHED THIS HARD HELPP THE WAY IT DOES NOT SOUND SIMILAR 😭😭
This group hasn't seen peace moment since debut🙂
i feel bad for all the hate theyre getting they literally just debuted
Apparently they DIDN'T have permission to sample this melody nor pay the band at all. That's a lawsuit incoming 😭 wtf hybe
If the og get paid for it nothing is wrong (it's called sampling)
If the og don't get any cent for it then it's wrong (it's called plagiarism)
Bye these girls haven’t been able to catch a break even before the final line up was announced😭😭
Bruh, they don't even sound similar. They probably just used the same sample. Why can't people give these girls a break? It hasnt even been long since they debuted.
That's not Plagarism. It's called sampling. People just threw any accusations without studying the concepts of producing a song.
They should've credited the orginal singer then. This is plagarism
why can’t we all just enjoy songs instead of turning everything into a fight it’s so annoying
there are only so many melodies people can use, any song is bound to use the same as another but still be different
Poor girls i feel bad for them...they just debuted please let them breathe
Thats not plagarism ... It only has a few notes of similar melody, and not even exactly same melody
its just the same chord progression. tons of songs use that chord progression
It's almost like samples don't exist to Neitizens 😂
never in a million years did i think the wrecks would be involved in a kpop drama 😭😭
Oh my god will they ever leave these girls alone?
Nothing but chaos ever since their debut. They should disband
how done w/ with their livess are these people, my god! LEAVE THOSE POOR GIRLS ALONE!
parasocial relationships are INSANE! people need to f’king chill omfg 😡
Wtf? Its literally same😮
atp ppl just hate illit for existing lmao 😭 I don't even stan them but these are crazy accusations
They hated then for plagiarism not for nthg. Y'all should stop babying these idols
@@Layannnnn_ when the real blame should be the terrible company, these girls literally just debuted. They had no choice
@@melodyxlei that's true
These controversies are usually started by the company to promote the group and make them more popular. Its all a tactic people.
Yet you guys can’t worry about Wonder Girls Tell Me being a straight rip off and so many of songs
Damn! These girls can't catch a break!😮 Sampling is one thing but if they sampled the song without crediting the original artist, than yes it is plagarism. Hopefully this is not the case because I want Illit to succeed because they are talented.
Honestly 😊I agree
Give them a break. They're just starting their career
Yea it’s called sampling
They’re so young for all these hate😢 How to avoid an almost similar beat, if that’s a thing then everyone is plagiarising, it just a mix of diff beat with another.. INSPIRATION, you heard one song and come up with another one, or it just randomly similar.
It's not sampling unless the artist got credit and paid
Its not it has notes that are the same but in the chorus of Lucky Girl Syndrome, its definitely a different concept from Favorite Liar. In fact lucky girl syndrome goes up while favorite liar goes down after the similar beats.
Sounds similar indeed.
Why r ppl acting like its bad to have the same rhythm to a another song, like theres multiple songs that sounds the same 💀
Blame PD Bang and hybe
do people not know what samples are💀
If it is not k pop
It is not a copy
Who said that, it is still music it is a copy. If it's sampling they would've credited the orginal artist but they did not so definitely this is straight up plagarism.
@_.4Layan._ nah I saw a funny bout in my school and I copied in down in a joke
i love both of these songs and i have to say ive never noticed this so i dont think it was plagarism
People are trying to find any reason to shut these girls down, can everyone just calm the heck down.
