I had terrible edema of my ankles for about 2-3 weeks. I had no idea it was from lithium. As soon as I moved and spent more time at the beach and less time on my feet, it got better.
Also, the tremors linger for a while after discontinuing lithium. At least that was my experience

Hello Dr, I have a very important questions to ask you about a medication I take for seizures! Called (KEPPRA)! IM HAVING SO MANY SIDE AFFECTS FROM IT ! LIKE MY VISION HAS WENT DOWN TO I HAVE TO WEAR GLASSES NOW! AMD MY KIDNEYS, I KEEP UTI'S AND KIDNEY BLADDER INFECTIONS PAST YEAR I CAN BARELY URINATE AT ALL! VERY CONCERNING AND CAUSES MUCH PAIN FOR ME! AND NOW IM HAVING ISSUES WITH MY LIVER! LIKE MY EMZYMES ARE THROUGH THE ROOF! I JUST SAW 2 DRS LAST WEEK! NERO SPECIALIST! I HAVE APPOINTMENT TO SEE A LIVER SPECIALIST SOON!
OH MY😮BUT THE MENTAL SIDE AFFECTS ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY I FEEL LIKE! I TAKE THE MED I FEEL BUGS START CRAWLING ALL OVER MY BODY SAY 45 MIN AFTER! I DO SEE BUGS ON ME LIKE I HAVE HALLUCINATIONS! I STAY SO AGITATED, SO AGGRAVATED TO AND TAKES NOTHING TO MAKE ME JUST WANT TO RAGE ! THIS MED KEPPRA IS A BAD MED ! SO MANY SIDE AFFECTS I HAVE THESE ARE MY MOST CONCERNING ONES! CAN YOU HELP OR RECOMMEND A BETTER SEIZURE MEDICATIONS?

I was on generic Keppra for 11 years. I was on 4,000 mg. I had a lot of those side effects you had. Horrible anxiety and mood swings and worrying about everything no matter what it was. Had a hallucination. Felt like bugs were crawling on me.
I'm on vimpat and zonisamide now.
