Just one small thing to add. The windscreen motor needs to be plugged in and turned on then allowed to settle to its off position before aligning the linkage to the motor spindle.
Thank you. You saved me hundreds of dollars. The only thing I struggled with was aligning the wipers to start and stop at the correct place but I figured it out thru trial and error.

Thanks for the video instructions. They were great! I made a mistake while tighting the bolt to the transmission and must have misaligned it. Once I put everyhthing back together my wipers are not returning to the right position and are slamming back down and stopping in the middle of the windshield. How do I get them back to their original position? Thanks in advance.

I replaced my linkage assembly and wiper motor and followed all instructions to a tee including parking the motor 2 times before attaching the linkage arm, when I was done the wipers stopped in the up right position on my Honda CR-V. How do I correct this ?
That was great. I needed to know how to reposition the arm on the spindle of the motor and you showed me how it lined up. (Although I was replacing the linkage assembly and the one I bought from NAPA does not have corresponding markings but it was easy enough to ballpark it.). Thanks!
I’ll probably be doing this for my 2007 since the wipers are stopping wherever/whenever they like. Is it this complicated on other vehicles to remove? Or is the CRV “special?” Exellent video.
5:57 What is the purpose of that "brace" metal? I am wanting to take it out then just put the black plastic wiper cowl back without the metal brace since the wiper cowl clips attaches to the windscreen area. It weights 6 pounds and am trying to reduce weight.
That metal brace stiffens the front end of the car. Hope you didn't ditch it because that would have been a huge mistake. What on earth are you doing with a CR-V that losing the few pounds of that brace would make any difference?

Really like that this technician actually uses the actual names of the different components in this video

So helpful. Just repeated this same process for my 2017 Accord. Saved $400 doing it myself. Thank you so much!!!

How about a video on rear wiper checkout and if necessary replacement.

Nice video. Great job!
Just... torque for the brace attach missed. Support structure should have specific torque
What about the rear?
