I'd recommend Using sedative and pain killer for better the chance to kill Centipede and try Using CRISS and Enchant it and acquire the skill fast reload for higher damage. Get 30+ bandages or 3 Med kits is enough. This is only my tip. (No offense)
I simply plant tons of turrets and battery boxes and generators. They take care of the boss while I defend the turrets and battery boxes and loot nearby buildings.
When i first played the game i grind so hard to get 9 drones...And i didnt know tf is the hedgehog and died.BUT NOW,I came back with killing intent with 1 drone and semi auto shotgun and killed it. :D EASY

Well this may be a new thing but there is now an enchanting table in Dead Town and you can increase the damage reduction of the armor, or increase the damage of the gun... If you have 6 hammers, you can convert it into one MK2 hammer, and it will do like +6% more damage... and if you have 18 more "normal" hammer and if you combine the 18 normal hammer with the one hammer MK2, you will get the hammer MK3 that does +10% more damage than the hammer MK2... Although I didn't invest my rescorces into hammer MK4, theoretically, it would do 164 damage per swing which is a fair amount!!!
The reason why I have only got it to MK4 is because you technically need X3 MK4 to make one MK5 and three MK 4 needed to make MK5 requires nine MK3's and to make nine MK3, you need 27 MK2's and to make 27 MK2's you need 162 normal things. Which is a lot.
