I'm gonna describe my experience with this game: I just got into Roblox and checked my friends in the main page, one that I had given Robux to so he could get something he wanted was playing and I joined to see his avatar and what he was doing. Some friends were playing this from time to time and I always wondered what it was about. After joining I notice people having auras and standing still just for the game to tell me to spin to get an aura, I thought this was going to be like the cool old days of Arc of the Elements where you get a rare arc and fight with people, after getting the Rage aura I equip it and ask my friend what to do next, he told me to get to the shop and I was confused because I could only craft stuff to get even better auras... I was getting worried, but I saw a parkour part so I went there and did it just to receive a boost of something that I didn't know until my friend told me. This was just the Fairy Odd Parents moment where I am the one asking "where's the attraction?", "this is the attraction, yippeeeee". My dissapointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined. I don't even know what's the point, you can't do anything with them, telling your friends you got something will just get a "oh, nice" reaction so why even try? The map is boring and having people standing still feels like you are in a place with hollow bodies around

I saw this and initially assumed the “RNG” part was referring to this being a randomizer, akin to Item Asylum, Allusions, Random Rumble, Randomizer, etc, and within 50 seconds of playing I just had all joy sucked out of my soul at the realization that this “experience” consistently has 100k players.

The thing about this game is how it basically takes advantage of gambling addiction. I played the game myself for a bit, and I noticed that sometimes they would jangle a rare aura in your face, then last second switch to something garbage. This is a common technique actual casinos use to hook in people to their game. “Well, I was that close, might as well try again.” Then the cycle continues
Funny thing is that little dangle doesn't actually mean you were close. All it means is the random number generator provided a number that just so happened to near that value.
Any "game" that involves "gambling" and flexing on other people does well on Roblox. No matter what it is or how bad it looks, as long as it has silly auras and "cool" vfx, its enough for anyone with less than a braincell to get excited by it

When I saw the thumbnail of the game have a black-hole I thought it would be a “Space-Engine” game that generated random solar systems in a simulated universe sandbox that you could explore on and explore other surfaces of randomly generated planets. You would also be able to understand the atmosphere of the planet that you are currently exploring the surface of all while inside ROBLOX which made me thought it would be a truly revolutionary game and spark a new game-genre on ROBLOX. Not to mention, the terrain would also randomly generate in these planets as well, so you would have random oceans and continents. Can you imagine the massive geological formations you could find on these planets and imagine seeing dynamic storms and weather conditions on these planets because of the atmosphere generated on them? I also thought I could explore the black-hole and other massive celestial bodies in the simulated universe based on the thumbnail. Basically a one-to-one three-dimensional universe on ROBLOX that you can explore with free-cam that categorizes planets and stars all while equally spacing out the celestial bodies at one-to-one scale distances from each other and getting the scales and size of the celestial bodies correctly. I was so disappointed when I joined just to see it be a gambling game and the black-hole turned out to be a stupid aura for some weird NFT aura thing and not some ultra-massive randomly generated blackhole that you can observe from a few light years away and seeing it move in its direction and velocity, which sounds a hundred times cooler than Sol’s RNG’s concept.😭👍

The main reason we like these games is because 1. Gambling. And 2 we get the satisfactory of getting something good which is why games like yba resorted to skins but that was also their downfall because like every game once you get that rare thing you wanted there isnt much you would want to do anymore with yba you could dupe skins or you just had to wait for certain events in order to obtain the skin so there wasnt a point of even playing Another reason why one piece games get a lot of recognition there is way more ideas you can get with one piece because there is certain set factors like "wait in this server for this long for a fruit to spawn and with a chance you can get something good!" Or "0.01 percent drop from this boss" which convinces players that they want that specific drop because of how rare it is inevitably making them waste their time but if they actually achieve that then that is when the player is satisfied and quits which is why gpo died, lack of updates and horrible rates. And that is the reason why players prefer to play games like deepwoken because it is actually immersive and there is plenty to do and if you lose everything that motivates you to get back to where you were at and possibly get lucky and get more stuff while you progressed directly where ypu were at. I know i just yapped for awhile then meatrode deepwoken but thats just my opinion. But the main point is asp this game will die just like any other

This is not even an AFK game, AFK games are called idle games, and they have other content than press a button for hours on end for shitty auras that don't do anything.
Idle games are at least fun, this is nowhere close to an idle game aside from enabling your auto clicker or macro so you don’t disconnect as it autorolls.
I hopped in because the thumbnail for the game looked really sick. I was so disappointed like immediately. Left in probably less than half a minute, then realized it really is JUST and RNG. I never felt more bamboozled by something so literal and straight forward.

My only guess as to why Sol's RNG is so popular is because it taps into the popularity of clicker/idle games, but even clicker games like Cookie Clicker offer some form of human interaction in order to progress. All you do here is just sit and wait. I'd maybe get it if it worked like Team Fortress 2 idle/trade servers, where players sit and idle to earn new items through the game's random drop system - at least in that scenario, you're idling for the sake of cool items that you can then wear and use in the proper game. But as far as I can tell with this, you can't use any of these aura effects in other Roblox games, so it's idling just for the sake of a fake gacha machine. That's only based on my extremely dated knowledge of Roblox though - if there is a system that lets you take these auras to other games, I don't know about it.
I’m not even mad about this anymore. When I go on games with 10k or more players I find the whole experience degrading purely because of the other people being insufferable in one way or another. So I’m glad as a player who enjoys quality games that the hot garbage games like this are pulling the filth away so I can enjoy better games with better players.

smh Sol's RNG is simply peak experience, it has such great and intruging features such as: rolling, auras, walking, jumping, map design, chat, player avatars, standing, and lets not forget the really worth purchasing micro transactions on a free2play experience that can really spice up the unique and such creative well thought sophisticated mechanics that take a lot of time to master in such a competive sce, Sol's RNG can definitely rival Metal gear solid 5 and even original YBA and pretty much any AAA game as the best experience of all time.

Stuff like Sol's RNG makes me glad that I decided to start trying to diversify my tastes in games since 2020. People can debate on if gaming is quality time or not, but I prefer discovering bangers which have changed my taste in games like Hades and Dwarf Fortress, hell even a few visual novels of all things, instead of letting Roblox give me brainrot through what are basically glorified idle games with gambling.

Another thing id like to mention! I've heard that the Sols RNG devs steal songs for unlocks. They almost never ask for permission or even bother to check song creators websites about song use and licensing. An example I'd like to mention here is Camellia, there are three songs in the game that use Camellia's music. The songs are Artificial Snow, Arcology on Permafrost, and Completeness Under Incompleteness. This on its own would be fine, but it seems like the creators did not even talk with Camellia at all about the song usage, especially about the song Completeness Under Incompleteness, which is A LICENSED SONG meaning it cannot be used by anyone other than the people who own it. The song is licensed by BEMANI, which is known for being extremely strict with their licensing terms, barely allowing their songs to be put up for streaming. (their songs are mostly used inside of rhythm games like Sound Voltex) This is also clearly stated inside of Camellias terms of use and even song description! If the developers took 2 seconds out of their day they would see it. This not only is a massive copyright infringement but allows BEMANI to strike them down extremely quickly. Not only that, but one more thing I'd like to mention is stealing songs without credit. A common thing about Sols RNG I've seen as an outsider looking in is their habit to steal songs and label them as "Aura Themes." An example of this would be a removed aura which used the song Cheatreal by t+pazolite. There is a video of the song titled "[Sol's RNG] 'Chromatic-Exotic' Theme" completely relabeling the song and only putting the song in the description, the original song name isn't even inside of the video. This said video has over 500k views and just goes to show how uncaring they are with their licensing and song usage. Thank you for reading!

Dude what are you talking about, Sols RPG is literally the bestest game on Roblox ever made and it’s not even close It does everything right, from Boss fights, to puzzles, to even basic PvP combat, it’s perfectly balanced, but at the same time doesn’t feel too balanced that everything plays the same. It has a great counterattacking system that promotes risky plays, and a fun exploration system that’s different from most RPGs And the game also gets balance changes every week, and the devs add unique bosses to the RPG every update that play differently And the air combo systems are perfect, never has a game came up with such an idea before until Sols RPG, and the fact that different weapons have different combo effects like the Bowl empties out all debuffs from yourself is just so well thought out.
3:40 I'm stealing these words from a dev of a small game I still play as to why they got rid of a unique but stubborn mechanic from their game here, but i think it's important with the emphasis the article has on Sol's RNG being a 'unique game': "just because a game is unique, doesn't mean that the uniqueness is actually beneficial, there are just as many, if not more, harmful 'unique mechanics' than there are good ones". coookie clicker is just use an autoclicker and afk, but you actuallly dont have much rng...just be infront of the monitor and look once in a while to see what u can buy and cick on to get boosts etc, even different achievements for doing stuff like upgrading, a lot of more features too that im lazy to mention (late)

When I first saw this game, I thought it was going to be really cool cuz the thumbnail looked absolutely sick, and I thought it was some awesome pvp game with insane effects. So I joined the game with my friend (who has already been no lifing it) just to realise that it's literally spamming a 'Roll' button and getting some random effects on your character that do absolutely nothing but make you look cooler... *sigh*
The funny part about this is that I am a beginner Python programmer with like barely any lua experience except reaching the first couple videos on the Advanced stage in the tutorial by TheDevKing, and I am pretty confident I can cook this up in a couple days...

I'm gonna describe my experience with this game:
I just got into Roblox and checked my friends in the main page, one that I had given Robux to so he could get something he wanted was playing and I joined to see his avatar and what he was doing. Some friends were playing this from time to time and I always wondered what it was about.
After joining I notice people having auras and standing still just for the game to tell me to spin to get an aura, I thought this was going to be like the cool old days of Arc of the Elements where you get a rare arc and fight with people, after getting the Rage aura I equip it and ask my friend what to do next, he told me to get to the shop and I was confused because I could only craft stuff to get even better auras... I was getting worried, but I saw a parkour part so I went there and did it just to receive a boost of something that I didn't know until my friend told me.
This was just the Fairy Odd Parents moment where I am the one asking "where's the attraction?", "this is the attraction, yippeeeee". My dissapointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined.
I don't even know what's the point, you can't do anything with them, telling your friends you got something will just get a "oh, nice" reaction so why even try? The map is boring and having people standing still feels like you are in a place with hollow bodies around

When I saw the thumbnail of the game have a black-hole I thought it would be a “Space-Engine” game that generated random solar systems in a simulated universe sandbox that you could explore on and explore other surfaces of randomly generated planets. You would also be able to understand the atmosphere of the planet that you are currently exploring the surface of all while inside ROBLOX which made me thought it would be a truly revolutionary game and spark a new game-genre on ROBLOX. Not to mention, the terrain would also randomly generate in these planets as well, so you would have random oceans and continents. Can you imagine the massive geological formations you could find on these planets and imagine seeing dynamic storms and weather conditions on these planets because of the atmosphere generated on them? I also thought I could explore the black-hole and other massive celestial bodies in the simulated universe based on the thumbnail. Basically a one-to-one three-dimensional universe on ROBLOX that you can explore with free-cam that categorizes planets and stars all while equally spacing out the celestial bodies at one-to-one scale distances from each other and getting the scales and size of the celestial bodies correctly. I was so disappointed when I joined just to see it be a gambling game and the black-hole turned out to be a stupid aura for some weird NFT aura thing and not some ultra-massive randomly generated blackhole that you can observe from a few light years away and seeing it move in its direction and velocity, which sounds a hundred times cooler than Sol’s RNG’s concept.😭👍

And that is the reason why players prefer to play games like deepwoken because it is actually immersive and there is plenty to do and if you lose everything that motivates you to get back to where you were at and possibly get lucky and get more stuff while you progressed directly where ypu were at. I know i just yapped for awhile then meatrode deepwoken but thats just my opinion. But the main point is asp this game will die just like any other

My only guess as to why Sol's RNG is so popular is because it taps into the popularity of clicker/idle games, but even clicker games like Cookie Clicker offer some form of human interaction in order to progress. All you do here is just sit and wait.
I'd maybe get it if it worked like Team Fortress 2 idle/trade servers, where players sit and idle to earn new items through the game's random drop system - at least in that scenario, you're idling for the sake of cool items that you can then wear and use in the proper game. But as far as I can tell with this, you can't use any of these aura effects in other Roblox games, so it's idling just for the sake of a fake gacha machine. I’m not even mad about this anymore. When I go on games with 10k or more players I find the whole experience degrading purely because of the other people being insufferable in one way or another. So I’m glad as a player who enjoys quality games that the hot garbage games like this are pulling the filth away so I can enjoy better games with better players.

smh Sol's RNG is simply peak experience, it has such great and intruging features such as: rolling, auras, walking, jumping, map design, chat, player avatars, standing, and lets not forget the really worth purchasing micro transactions on a free2play experience that can really spice up the unique and such creative well thought sophisticated mechanics that take a lot of time to master in such a competive sce, Sol's RNG can definitely rival Metal gear solid 5 and even original YBA and pretty much any AAA game as the best experience of all time.

Stuff like Sol's RNG makes me glad that I decided to start trying to diversify my tastes in games since 2020. People can debate on if gaming is quality time or not, but I prefer discovering bangers which have changed my taste in games like Hades and Dwarf Fortress, hell even a few visual novels of all things, instead of letting Roblox give me brainrot through what are basically glorified idle games with gambling.

Another thing id like to mention! I've heard that the Sols RNG devs steal songs for unlocks. They almost never ask for permission or even bother to check song creators websites about song use and licensing. An example I'd like to mention here is Camellia, there are three songs in the game that use Camellia's music. The songs are Artificial Snow, Arcology on Permafrost, and Completeness Under Incompleteness. This on its own would be fine, but it seems like the creators did not even talk with Camellia at all about the song usage, especially about the song Completeness Under Incompleteness, which is A LICENSED SONG meaning it cannot be used by anyone other than the people who own it. The song is licensed by BEMANI, which is known for being extremely strict with their licensing terms, barely allowing their songs to be put up for streaming. (their songs are mostly used inside of rhythm games like Sound Voltex) This is also clearly stated inside of Camellias terms of use and even song description! If the developers took 2 seconds out of their day they would see it. This not only is a massive copyright infringement but allows BEMANI to strike them down extremely quickly. Not only that, but one more thing I'd like to mention is stealing songs without credit. A common thing about Sols RNG I've seen as an outsider looking in is their habit to steal songs and label them as "Aura Themes." An example of this would be a removed aura which used the song Cheatreal by t+pazolite. There is a video of the song titled "[Sol's RNG] 'Chromatic-Exotic' Theme" completely relabeling the song and only putting the song in the description, the original song name isn't even inside of the video. This said video has over 500k views and just goes to show how uncaring they are with their licensing and song usage. Thank you for reading!

It does everything right, from Boss fights, to puzzles, to even basic PvP combat, it’s perfectly balanced, but at the same time doesn’t feel too balanced that everything plays the same. It has a great counterattacking system that promotes risky plays, and a fun exploration system that’s different from most RPGs
And the game also gets balance changes every week, and the devs add unique bosses to the RPG every update that play differently
And the air combo systems are perfect, never has a game came up with such an idea before until Sols RPG, and the fact that different weapons have different combo effects like the Bowl empties out all debuffs from yourself is just so well thought out.

When I first saw this game, I thought it was going to be really cool cuz the thumbnail looked absolutely sick, and I thought it was some awesome pvp game with insane effects. The first is the light-dependent or photochemical stage and the other is the dark reaction or light-independent stage, which is also known as the calvin cycle which occurs in the stroma. Light energy is needed to split the water molecules in the plant leaves into hydrogen and oxygen atoms. Oxygen is released as a waste product. These reactions are called photochemical light reactions because they require light to occur. There's alot more to cover but I'm going to end it here.
