I used to think the Devil was too serious of a villain until I watched this show. Now I know he's the perfect balance between comedic but dangerous TV show villain.

I think it’s more he was annoyed that the biggest, and therefore strongest demon was destroyed, hence his sarcasm.
@@fattuscattus2200 based on how he said “Wow, he destroyed the biggest guy” kinda implies just not being impressed. Plus, that guy may have been big but he had such short arms and neck that he was still useless.
I understand why people like him, he's a character done with creativity.
The Devil needs his own spin-off. He is my favourite character in the entire series.

Ironically, by the third season, you end up feeling sorry for the villian, and disliking Cuphead’s devil may care antics. Poor Mugman just tolerated the antics between the two. Though Chalice and King Dice? They were a real treat. Minion was a pretty good side character too.
Minion? His name is Henchman. And I agree. I hope a fourth season can be made.

@@roanoazoros1fan358 not really good intentions, honestly his actions weren’t that bad aside from him killing innocents but you can justify it since crime went down heavily and the world became safer, but his intentions were to be a God and be the highest life form and even unknowingly rooting against him is enough for him to kill you and he gets joy from peoples death and he certainly didn’t care when people close to him died like L or his father, Light Yagami is most definitely a villain he even ruined Misa’s life the people recasted but loss and grief just because he wanted to play god is insane you can tell he never cared about the criminals and just cared about being able to “Become God of the new world”

I have my doubts. The show was only planned for 3 seasons and as such ended where the video game picks up.

Ya know I find it funny that characters and places we would define as bad and evil are becoming mainstream and somewhat comedic. The cup head show, hazbin hotel, satina. All are getting popular for how creatively they portray the evils of hell the devil and demons

Anime does not refer to Animation itself, but instead Japanese Animation and Cuphead and other shows made outside of Japan like Avatar: The Last Airbender are not anime for that reason it’s like the word Man means an Adult Human Male or a Human Male (depending on the context) and if someone went to a dog and said this is a Man or went to a Woman and said this is a Man it is very disrespectful to both the work and the medium when calling it an anime
