As a neurodivergent myself, I am autistic and I can relate to a majority of this and it really makes me feel better watching cartoons that represent neurodivergence and it always lets me know that there are people out there that are like me and maybe I should feel good about being on the spectrum because it makes us unique

As an AuADHD person, I seem to be able to sense it in Koopas. Based on the way Larry is written, I theorize Larry is autistic, and Iggy and Morton are undoubtedly neurodivergent.
Didn't particularly sense it in Cuphead and Mugman, but I also didn't look too deep into it like I did Larry Koopa's character for the sake of writing him in a project. Looking forward to seeing this video and seeing what was found with them... Well, I guess I can actually see how Cuphead and Mugman are neurodivergent when I think about it, hahah!
Now that someone mentioned it, I accept it as cannon that the Cuphead brothers and Chalice are neurodivergent. I didn’t really think about or notice it until I saw this video. Usually I can spot a neurodivergent character from mile away, being neurodivergent myself. (ASD to be specific.) I really appreciate and love this video for so many reasons. ASD makes me who I am-kind, quirky, optimistic and creative. I take great joy and pride in being on the spectrum, and the fact that the Cuphead show portrays the Cuphead brothers and Chalice as neurodivergent makes me so happy. Especially since I am hyper fixated on cartoons and collectibles, and the Cuphead show is the latest cartoon I have been binging repeatedly. I love the show even more now because of this video, which I didn’t think was possible. Thank you form the bottom of my heart for bringing this to light. The world needs more people like you.

I’m autistic and have OCD ADHD and bipolar disorder so seeing this in a show and seeing people who are like me with the same disorder makes me feel less alone and that I don’t belong!! This makes day so much better
As someone with autism, I can confirm that nearly everything in on these two cupbros. It’s really amazing to see neurodiversity in this show and in Donatello’s character in the new TMNT show.

Neurodivergent people somehow keep method acting T-rex. No explaination, they just do it because they like it. Little T-Rex hands.
The hand thing TM is where somebody points the back of their hand to the front.
The Hand Thing™ is holding your hands in front of you, fingers facing down and possibly curled, like a pangolin or a T-Rex. It's a common thing some autistic (and other neurodivergent) people do because holding arms in a different position feels unnatural. It can also be because some of us have issues knowing where our limbs are located without seeing them (kinesthetic sense) so holding them in front of the chest is a safe position. And other reasons, it depends on people.
Me: watching videos regarding neurodivergent characters and seeing myself being described in horrific detail.
Has a thing about characters who portray those characteristics.
Also me: Is there _really_ such a big chance l *am* actually neurodivergent

After watching this video I am now convinced that I might be neurodivergent.
I would say that some of these can be chalked up to the cupbros being young (ex. the whole pocket lint thing and Cuphead ignoring social cues in Roll the Dice) but I absolutely agree with you. Cuphead has one of the most insane cases of unmedicated childhood adhd ive ever seen (source: I WAS that kid in elementary school) and Mugman def has autism and problems with sensory overload and rsd, especially in season 2 with the ice cream and piano episodes. I would also argue that Cuphead has a hyperfixation on explosives, especially because of the Lost in the Woods ep in season 2 where he just. wouldn't. stop. using. them.
also you know how some autistic people will just walk on pointe everywhere? I feel like Chalice is like that but with tap dancing.
