This trip was nothing short of amazing!
Thank you to everyone for all the support!
Lots of new videos coming soon!
Really enjoyed your livestreams w you and Mr. Ruby. Love the video. Have a great week.
We planned our first trip to Vegas for the end of May early June and are staying at the Luxor... We did not get a tower, because everyone we talked to said the Pyramid was the way to go. I absolutely love your videos!
@@maefly2012 ask them for a newly renovated pyramid room theyve just redone them!
We got a corner King Suite I believe, and they are renovated I think. It's our "Honeymoon" so we made sure to get a nice room. But honestly I don't think they have a bad room in the Luxor. Thanks for the advise too.
Hi, Travel Ruby
Not to mention, Luxor has the Titanic Exhibition. Which contains real artifacts from the wreck, so it wouldn’t surprise me.
Yes but that was slated to be taken out of there soon if not this year...?
@@BDBD16 As far as I know, the exhibit is permanently there
they also have the bodies exhibit sooo
@@katlyndipaolo It also has suicides that have cured too. Example someone jumped from one of the balcony/walkway onto the gambling floor.
Off topic but I was at a titanic exhibit and they had glass over top of the artifacts and this kid kept touching the glass causing the alarms to go off and security had to keep stopping all of us to tell the kid not to touch the glass or the alarm would go off and every time he would touch the glass and it went off he would just start crying so loud
All the casinos took out their themes . Vegas use to be so fun . Removing the themes took the Strip from being interesting and exciting to being boring , shopping malls , and people hanging out . I believe this, resort fees, and the parking fees are going to kill the Las Vegas Strip .
Your edits are getting more and more fiery 👌🏼🔥
Thanks brother!! 😝
Feels very pompsie inspired 😉

Did Pompsie edit this? It’s totally his signature style of editing, even the music choice 🧐
@@kopicxi13 Pompsie style edit? that's hilarious. this is a casey neistat style edit. everyone learned from him.
Omg this vlog was awesome! Not boring for one second, not a lot of boring chit chat like so many other channels. Obsessed with you Ruby!
There was 4 of us that stayed in the room at luxor. We saw a black shadow roaming around the room. It freaked all of us that we packed are luggage and checked out. Never came back.
There is definitely a noticeable difference between this new vlog and some from your last trip. Editing and style of the vlog was amazing. Keep up the awesome work.
Girl that ghost was like knock knock! Great video girlfriend and that scare off the ghosts flute playing was priceless! 😂❤️
🤣🤣 I took recorder class in 3rd grade!!
@@TravelRuby that class is paying dividends
Your husband wasn’t the only one disappointed when you said that wasn’t a water slide
I stayed here on my first trip to Vegas years ago. So not current info. I was in a pyramid room and didn't feel I was being haunted, but I did find out that the sound of the club below reverberated all through the pyramid until 2am. (It got louder the higher you were). I also found out that at the time they had a central kitchen. So if you were in the steak house or the cafe the prime rib was all the same. I also made the mistake of trying to walk from Luxor to Rio and this was in August. I left early, took a super sized orange drink from McDonalds with me and still almost died. The inch of drink left in my cup was warm when I got there.
@user-xh7lr4bv7e Because it looks a lot closer than it is.
My husband was security training officer when Luxor opened. He actually worked their before it opened. He told me times were people jumped to their deaths inside the hotel on top floors. So whether Luxor is haunted it could be. I'm always fascinated by what was there before the hotel was built maybe going back to the 70's and 80's. If they had a display of the Titanic items whether they are actual items who knows if something does lingers with them.
I usually keep an opened mind.
I stayed in the Luxor (in the pyramid) at Halloween in 2019. Regarding alleged hauntings, one night, there was banging all night long which seemed to come from within the core of the building itself. Also that night, an un-opened bar of soap somehow fell off the bathroom counter onto the floor by itself; the sound was loud. Earlier in the day, I did visit Zak Bagan's Haunted Museum--so maybe I brought something back with me? :)
Yes these spirits can come home with you. I had one put its hand on my arm in a haunted house in England. Creepiest experience of my life.
Stayed there many times before alone and yeah, certain floors are creepy an weird as heck. We had a pyramid suite which was beyond weird vibes, we were told a local stays in that room only we went up and had extra weird vibes. We switched rooms without any trouble they just easily said sure. The tower rooms are okay, but the pyramid rooms are a different story.
My friend who frequents Vegas and stayed at luxor a couple of times said the same thing. The pyramid rooms are creepy af and he always requests for the tower rooms.
That's called the placebo effect my friends
What floors would you say specifically?! We'll be in Vegas for just our second time and considering Luxor!
Just got back home from my stay at Luxor this weekend. Had a blast and can’t wait to go back!
I stayed at Luxor and the elevators would stop at random floors and open their doors. Then they would close and continue to my floor.
I’ve stayed at Luxor several times. I’ll be in the 2 bedroom penthouse again in June for my 50th Birthday! 🤘😝🤘
This is completely unrelated to the lux being haunted but you look adorable with glasses and a messy bun.
I have always liked the Luxor Hotel. A few years further back they had people dressed up as Egyptian Kings and Queens that acted as guides around the property. Was a cool touch to everything. I get it that the hotel itself is much older and has lost some of it's shine. But still, the times we had been there was a nice experience. Thanks for sharing.
I love your videos. Very thorough and entertaining. I've never been to Vegas and, at my age, I never will but I love to watch your videos and then look at the website and plan my week long stay no expense limit. Thank you for helping make covid time much more entertaining.
Great video ,super humorous. I stayed in a Pyramid Room at the Luxor long ago.
Because you are actually in a Pyramid, the energy seems to be quite focused so I did experience some very strange dreams. Other than that I found the Luxor to be quite charming. Since you guys were in a tower room I'm sure you didn't have the same problem.
Been binge watching Travel Ruby preparing for our next visit. As Ruby says...I really, really like her. Cute.
I know the Cosmo, Wynn, Encore, and many more are much newer and more up-to-date and modern BUT Luxor is still my most favorite casino/hotel. I just love that place. I once won a jackpot there, so The Luxor will always have a special place in my heart. I just love that place. Plus I took my Mom there one time and we went to the Blue Man Group- if you haven't experienced the Blue Men...you must see them whenever you're there. Also, loved the Mahalia Jackson song....classy lady!
i have had that knocking sound happen to me in Vegas before. staying at the circus circus in 2005, a knock came at the door but no one was there when i opened up - spooky
Well, it so haunted, it had brutal murders in the kitchen and other areas of the property. It so rumored some mom and kid haunt the place, people Hear screams form down rooms and the poker area. It has paranormal stuff
I was at a craps table at Luxor once, and a GHOST made me roll a 7 out with $400 on the table.
Ruby, my wife and I love the Luxor, it’s is our favourite place in the strip and the only place we stay at for the last 14 years, it is our happy place. So many great memories, can wait until we can go their again
In 2010 I went with a friend for my 40th. Stayed in one of the pyramid rooms, high floor. At three different times, there was a distinct cherry blossom scent, thick in the room, which just dissipated. On the flight home, we smelled it again. The very night I got back home, I had two encounters with the Old Hag, back-to-back. Believe what you will, but it was significant enough for me to remember, all these years later.
Hey Ruby, huge fan of your Vegas vlogs - loving the way this one was shot and edited! Continue being amazing and that MF DOOM tribute?! 🖤🙏🏽🙌🏽✨
All hail the dOOm
What is the song playing during it?
The Blue Man Group was performing at the Luxor when we were there in 2010....they just won't go away.
The Body exhibit in Houston was cool too. No wonder they have Ghost at Excaliber!
I just booked us 5 nights in the same room at Luxor next early March. Sounds like the pools do open (usually) in March, but hit or miss with the weather. The wet bar with open fridge is so rare in Vegas it seems. I liked that view for a first floor room. The architecture is neat. Especially those columns.
We leave next Sunday the 6th to head to Vegas and stay in the Luxor 😊
Edits are 🔥 Awesome video
Ruby!
Luxor is my fourth favorite casino in Las Vegas (Rio is my first, Wynn/Encore is my second, and Resorts World is my third). Love the slots and the pyramid-style shape of the place
Stayed at the Luxor twice, one was opening day at 3.00am. The pyramid rooms are funky sloping windows. I loved the inclinatators the Egyptian esthetic is why you stay there. It has a certain atmosphere about it. I never thought I was being ripped off by the prices.
Stayed there in mid 2000: 6 to 8 a couple times. One of the times I stayed there & my room was in the tower - 12 floors up.
I saw someone looking in my room through the window. Real early in the morning. I thought it was Criss Angel levitating............
AND this was way before I heard it was haunted.
We are frequent Vegas travelers and exclusively stay at the Luxor. They always look after us very well and we always stay on comps. We had the opportunity to stay in the tower rooms the day after the renos were compleated...very nice. And it's always nice being close to the airport.
P.s. the fragrance at the Luxor is devine. For me it says "welcome home"
Any tips on getting comps there? We get there next Sunday 😊
@@adelinechurch318 For us we simply ask. You can talk to staff at the concierge desk. They have always been very good to us.
I have a tip, avoid the Ticket selling people roaming the streets and the Homeless people, etc. also do not visit Excalibur or The OYO or Tropicana or Rio and Circus Circus, unless your going to the adventure dome
Hey,this is great promo for the Luxor. If it is haunted, more guests will want to stay there!!!😂😂😂
Hey Ruby. It is haunted.....
I have a photo on New Years Day 2012
Me and my wife selfie shot right next to the Bodies entrance. And there is an image of my wife looking a different direction next to us! Like her twin but different expression. And I only took one photo inside Luxor.
My wife will never step foot back in there.
ewwwwwwwwwww!
I stayed at the Westward Ho several years ago. I was sleeping. Something woke me up. I saw an Apparition of young lady standing by the side of the bed. I screamed. Scared the shit out of me.
We just got back from staying at the Luxor in the pyramid. My only complaint was the very long check in lines (the online check-in was having technical difficulties) and it’s significantly warmer inside the gaming floor than most other casinos that we visited.
Great video as usual! It's kinda coincidental that I was hoping you would do something paranormal about Vegas, and you did! 😮 keep up the great videos, I thoroughly enjoy them!
Great review as usual and the Doom Tribute was a nice touch!.
Great video as always! Can’t wait to see and hear about the rest of your trip.
Ghosts and MF Doom?! I knew there was a reason Ruby was my new favorite 😮
Glad you liked the Luxor. I hope the theme casinos never go away. Looking forward to the rest of the trip videos!
From when I went and stayed alone I did feel like I had a hard time sleeping and my room was really cold and I would still wake up sweating somehow and on my last night I turned all the lights off and when I was able to see thru the dark I just seen a dark blob blocking my vision to see and felt an aurora of something black standing across the corner but those were my only signs and I do remember hearing a scream from a lady like as if it sounded like she won a casino game which is strange because my room is really far from the strip idk I loved the hotel tho ghosts are nice and don’t bother you 4/5💯
Sweatshirt, hair tied, chillin with your glasses on. So cute.
That hotel gives me the creeps.
It’s the flute at the end for me🤣🤣. But you are definitely keeping me updated on Vegas because I’m moving there in a few weeks ❣️
This is jokes! I enjoyed the ghost check and titanic moment. Always enjoy your videos Ruby. As a fellow creator a tip my hat to ya! With love from the UK x we're in Vegas soon, hope to bump into you! x
The pyramid section of the luxor is where all the suicides happen so it make sense that some kind of negative energy lingers in that area!
I think the Southern Area of the strip is quite more weird than the northern side of the strip
That’s crazy, I was there this weekend as well. Had a blast I really enjoy staying here at the Luxor!! Great vid
I stayed at the luxor a few years back.... around 2am I heard noises out side my room and a bang like what she heard. I went to see who it was and the hall way was empty. It's haunted!
Did you stay in the pyramid or one of the towers? I’m currently on the 11th floor of the East Tower.
This was great!!! Keep exploring and reviewing Vegas hotels in this style. Cannot wait for my 5th overall Vegas trip in May with my Wife.
The pyramid is supposedly haunted. No one has claimed either or both of the ziggurat towers are haunted. She stayed in one of the towers.
And the Luxor was the last building 2pac was in before he was fatally ambushed at the intersection of Flamingo and Koval. The whole Death Row crew had rooms there that night. They had all just left the Luxor and were headed to Suge Knight's Club 662 so 2pac could perform, but they never made it past Flamingo and Koval.
Like your husband. I was also disappointed that wasn't a water slide at the Luxor pool.
I have been wondering that for years. FYI Excalibur has such a fun little waterslide. I love that pool
I thought for sure that was a slide too
I have stayed at Luxor twice and I've had great experiences on both trips. Everything about it is great. I liked that I could easily access Mandalay Bay and also have easy access to NY NY via Excalibur.
Great video. Very informative and interesting. We stayed at this hotel five times. Never had any kind of problem with anything. Nice friendly staff, rooms were always clean, good food, good everything. Great place to stay.
Yes ! Love the MF DOOM tribute at the end
I stayed here for my first time in Vegas with my husband and it brings back memories 😭💕
We stayed at Luxor way back in the day and believe it or not there used to be a river running through it. Complete with tour boats.
I liked the ride too, this was well before the Venation.
I went on that ride in 1994
@@DonnaJ1312 I wish I had, but the place was so crowded, much more than any of my visits there, in the 2000's+!
Walked thru here at like 2am, not many people, music was off, was SUPER eerie to say the least haha luv the casino though
I think the next major resort to be built should be down by Mandalay Bay and the Luxor. It's too bad Resort World isn't located there. But after Resort World, Las Vegas should say that the next resort has to be built on the Luxor end of town.
Diablo's Cantina is always my first stop when in Vegas. Their food is superb. The buffet downstairs is HORRIBLE. dont even bother going down there.
I thought you were going to whip out a Ouija board! :) What a fun vlog and super well-done, too! Love the bad recorder rendition of the Titanic love theme! I have a Titanic-obsessed family member who I'll have to take to the exhibit in December. I think the view was cool with the pillars, despite not getting that epic Strip view. I would definitely consider the Luxor on another trip. I'm looking forward to your other vlogs!
The Titanic exhibit was awesome, especially for a Titanic fan. You felt like you were there - without the threat of dying!
I am also Titanic obsessed and it was excellent and well worth visiting
Beautifully shot, well edited and fun! I LIKED this video.
Enchiladas are my favorite food, and I make a point of trying them everywhere to compare-- Diablo's had some of the bestttt ones I've ever had haha
I just stayed at one oft the Luxor pyramid rooms. I did have a paranormal experience, or at least one I have no explanation for. I felt an intense feeling like I was being watched. I was tossing and turning and not able to sleep well. I got up to use the bathroom. When I was washing my hands out of the corner of my eye I saw an empty aluminum can I had set on the quartz countertop move. It got my attention so I stared right at it and it move again, it creeped me out so I reached down grabbed it crushed it and threw it in the waste basket. I went to lay back down after a few more hours of restless sleep I awoke and when I went back into the bathroom the can was laying on the floor next to the little waste basket I had placed it in. No explanation I can come up with to explain it. Just creepy.
Not to mention I got weird vibes, idk what it was about but I swear someone or something was following me through out the whole thing.
I went to Vegas first time last year for 5 days. We got there June 25th 2021 at about 9pm. We stayed at Luxor in Pyramid rooms. I cant remember which floor but it was between 12th-15th floor. I remember my sister asking me something about if we should sage the room but feared a smoke alarm would go off. She knows im an empath, very spiritual person and i sage my home regularly and have a strong intuitive side. At the time i thought it was odd she brought it up. when i first saw the titanic exhibit and the balcony, it made me feel uneasy like i had to remind myself to breathe. I couldnt look down from the balconly. I thought maybe due to heights, which is possible🤷🏿♀️. It was strange. The titanic lighting and balcony made my stomach tighten. It was weird....🤔. Now watching this and seeing the comments im like wayment wayment hold on🤚🤚 now😂🤣
YeAh it has a bit of a uneasy
The Titanic exhibit was amazing, now I wish I'd checked out the Bodies exhibit.
Don’t think it’s haunted but because the building is angled in as it goes up it was a little disorienting walking from the elevator to my room
Great and fun review. The remodeled Premier Pyramid rooms are nice and more fun, but the tower rooms are nice too. Diablo’s is good and reasonably priced Mexican food. The walkway or tram to the Excalibur gets you a head start on getting to mid strip. Luxor is the best value MGM property. I agree with others that have said it’s a shame they have watered down the Egyptian theme. Why would you mess with the cool theme??? Embrace it!
I really enjoy your videos. You really explain everything so well and in an interesting down to earth way.
I had a weird experience at the Luxor east tower, the room I was in had the hydraulic on the safe go out and slam when it was opened, we tried to recreate it and couldn't. The next was we left the room in the early afternoon and came back. On the walk back I said I was going to take a bath. Upon arrival to our room, the bath water was running faintly. To my knowledge house keeping did not go into the room that day and everyone was all out as a group at the same time.
Last year we stayed here and this was the worst hotel I've stayed in Vegas. Always had a heavy feeling there as well as the other 6 of us there. Weird!! Always felt a negative energy over us....never again!!
OMG 😨
@@TravelRuby didn't know about the paranormal activity till after we returned and read about it all....crazy things have happened there. We stayed at the pyramid in Cancun, Mexico as well and I swear it was the same feeling there. I think pyramids have a negative energy about them. Something is going on with them for sure.
Walked thru once ,id never stay there .If you are slightly empath you will feel it ...
Uuuuugh I just booked a 5 night stay for the end of this year. I'm an empath and now I'm not looking forward to the negative energy. Wish I knew this before we booked our room 😬
A paranormal group was inside the Bodies exhibit and connected with many spirits that were Asian.
The edit goes ! Great video and info! Nice work ! 🤙🏽👍🏽
I never heard it was haunted but look at who performs there. CARROT TOP! He is scary!! haha
Carrot Top is a very nice guy to fans.
@@yagirlafter5084 Oh I agree, just that he has a unique look about him.
My channel is dedicated to ghost hunting, but the floors downstairs at Circus Circus, EVPs, cold spots and K2 hits. Definitely checking out the Luxor next time.
We stayed at the Luxor in the Pyramid and we had a super large room with a big jacuzzi tub.
I love your Vegas videos 😍😍🔥🔥
Your husband is home .in the hallway holding the cammera well you answer the door .😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have stayed at Luxor several times. Next time, I want to stay at Park MGM. Stayed at it when it was the MOnte Carlo, and loved the size, and location.
She put her camera in the toilet for us 😅
Eagerly waited for this comment lol

I enjoy your intros before you begin. Ha ha - fun video on Luxor. We stayed there & never seen any ghosts, however our rooms were creepy. But overall the resort is a fun place to stay. Their buffet was terrible so we would always head to Mandalay Bay to eat. The pool was fine. Your room looks fine. An elite tower room on the first floor would be ok. As said, both of our rooms weren’t that good. Dated and dirty. The exercise room was good. Their everyday cafe was fine. ( bari_vegaslover on Twitter) Thank you for your fun video 🥳🥳🥳
Yes it’s defiantly haunted!!! It’s in the machines. It took my money which gave me the biggest scare! 👻👻
😂😂😂
Hi Ruby, I will be staying at Luxor in May in the same category of room type you had. I saw the frig and sink, but not a coffee maker in your video, which is supposed to come with this type of room. Did you have one? I know this is a stupid question, but I do like my coffee first thing in the morning! Thanks, Mike
I for sure did not have one in my room. I just ended up going to Starbucks near the lobby.
@@TravelRuby Wow, that was fast, thank you! I will bring my own from home! Mike
@Travel Ruby Have you heard anything about the VIP tailgate package at the Bud Light Beer garden? We'd all love a review of that experience before a game.
Yes the Luxor is haunted!! I was tapped on the shoulder while I was there alone once. But a lot of people have died in all of the casinos on the strip (they just don’t tell us). The Riviera was haunted, the Flamingo is haunted, and probably so are most of the hotels.
lol. EMF detectors do not detect ghost. I mean they can, but also anything that puts off high EMF, such as most electronics, of cord outlet. Breaker boxes usually tend to put off a lot
I stayed at luxor 2 years ago in the tower overlooking the highway and raiders stadium. It wasnt bad but theres way to much walking around that place. The beds were so so a little firm and the wifi wasnt that great
Used to stay at the Luxor. Moved to the other end of the strip. TI. Treating myself to Caesars in 3 weeks. Birthday trip. Nice videos. Diablos used to be Tacos and Tequila. No 2 tacos are alike. lol
Love Vegas and your vlogs are great! Also, loved seeing the Bucks shirt! I’m from Wisconsin, big fan.
Haha! I love the Luxor! people complain about it but I have never had a bad room or experience there, the pool is really nice too!
LOVED THIS VIDEO! so much fun!
Sounds like good advice. We're going to LV early Feb., staying on Strip, using Ubers. Will definitely check out your Fremont St. experience. We will probably go down there for a few hours. Wild.
I like the Luxor, Mandalay Bay etc, I actually prefer that part of the strip more. Great review 👍🏽
I dig the editing! Great video!
I'm going to Vegas for the first time in a few weeks and staying here! This is fun to watch lol.
I really like the atmosphere in the Luxor. It just has a more relaxed vibe.
Your right a bit creepy to
