    Yes LuLu, you should DEFINITELY sponsor this content creator. I have looked at countless videos and read an equal amount of articles on the POD model and she sold Lulu Printing for me. I did even know Lulu existed until I ran across her videos. I like how she makes the details of Lulu printing simple and includes all that one needs to know about the POD process with this company. Well done!

    I've printed with KDP and Lulus and and I'm a paper planner. What i learned was that if you are printing things for people to write in you want uncoated paper. Lulu's 80lb paper is coated which is why it failed the smear test miserably. lol.

    Hey love , i have been binging on your videos does lulu do a journal / planner without spiral ?
    i took note and you mentioned yours is 132 pages
    7.44 inches x 9.68 something like that
    and it cost $13.17 without shipping is there a way in my case to make it cheaper less than $10 as shipping will round it over to $10 only because it's my first launch and to be honest i don't even have a community to launch to LOL
    how do we work out a profit thank you for the smudge test i never even thought of that

      If you want the cost to be under $10 I would suggest creating your planner with black and white interior pages and keep it under 100 pages. That should help take the cost down. Also if you do a soft cover instead of spiral that will bring the cost down as well.

    Also, when you said you ordered in bulk and saved on shipping, how exactly did you do so?

    • @iamlashawnda
      @iamlashawnda  9 месяцев назад

      They have a bulk order option. But normally I just increase my quantity amount and it will tell you how much the shipping is. You save on shipping because when you break down the amount you are paying in shipping per planner, you pay more if you are only ordering a few planners.

    Do you copyright your planners? How do you stop someone else from taking your creation and putting their name on it?

    • @iamlashawnda
      @iamlashawnda  9 месяцев назад

      I include a copyright page in my planner. Anything that you create automatically retains copyrights.
      BUT you can go on the website and apply to copyright your page. But honestly, People can still steal your stuff. It's a gray area and even with a paid copyright, It's hard to keep someone from knocking you off.

      @iamlashawnda  9 месяцев назад +1

      I definitely don't recommend putting your planner on Amazon KDP if you don't want someone else selling your planner because in KPD's Policy, They are able to sell your planner to 3rd parties and you can never take your planner off the platform. You can only Archive it. And it will still be available for 3rd parties to buy and resell.

    • @iamlashawnda
      @iamlashawnda  9 месяцев назад

      With Standard shipping it took a good 12 days. When I did expressed shipping it took about 6-7 Days.

    I saw a past of yours saying you ordered too many copies of your old planners and I’m curious if Lulu doesn’t offer print on demand and why you didn’t opt for that instead of buying and selling them yourself?

    • @iamlashawnda
      @iamlashawnda  9 месяцев назад

      Great Question. Because when you do print on demand you can't do quality checks and I don't need anyone taking a cut of the already small profit margin. 😂 and plus I like being able to see my inventory as it goes out lol just a preference.
