I quite like Incheon Airport.. been there for only 5 hours but its great. VERY comfy, and im glad there is pretty fast wifi ;) Had a free shower there, very clean. Lots of techy stuff u gotta get used to :P Makes me want to go to Korea.
How about Sovanapumi airport in Thailand??? It's very nice as well. Btw, I'm glad that 4 Japanese airports are on the list. Also, Incheon and Singapore Changi made it to top 1 and 2.
Ive been to Incheon airport, its really nice there. Theres a lot of good food and service. Futuristic architecture, Wifi networks everywhere. Sets out a good example of South Korea's well being and innovation. :)
KLIA 2014 WON Again for ''WORLDS BEST AIRPORT UNDER 50 MILLION PASSENGER''',,Ranking 2nd Best in the worlds from SKYTRAX 2014 check it out,,,Congratulations KLIA,,
the best Incheon International Airport, South Korea, almost everything is free like shower, use of computer, ice skating, concerts, city tours. The only airport with movie theater, cultural shows and so on. Best duty-free, lot of food to choose.
dun be so proud.. things changed in seconds.. now KLIA is the worst n bloody nightmare airport ever… made people lost and low security level ever.. and no responsible for members of family that missing their loved one..
kamu ni tak tahi apa2 nampaknya tentang perkembangan KLIA,,kalau kamu nak tahu KLIA pernah dalam top 5 best Airport since 2003,2004,2005 and 2006,,after that lost and lost every year,,,2014 everybody know what ranking KLIA??,,malu nak bagi tahu,,,klia 2014 kedudukanya dalam no 12 atau 14,,sekarang,,memalukan apa2 org2 yg duduk kat klia buat??ranking semakin teruk,,Singapore maintain je sepanjang tahun ,,
Yes, there were built so many years ago! Look at those brand new airports in any Asian cities like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, HK, Korea, Japan are stunning both inside and outside! Very stylish designed building and the latest technology.
Well I know that I would rather spend 7 or 8 hours at Changi than Incheon! Now if only they could do something about the beer price at Changi, I would be happy as a pig in shit lol :- D
I've been to the Incheon airport and yes it's really nice. I walked around to check everything out and theres lots of cool stores. Everything is nice actually
Airports I have experienced Los Angeles : not very good Chicago : okay NYC la guardia : good Johannesburg : very good Heathrow : good Paris CDg : bad Nicosia : okay Dubai : very good Copenhagen : good Bangkok : good Birmingham : okay
Every year we present the results of our study on the best airports in the world and the 2012 rankings are in. The list of best airports is based on thousands of eDreams customer reviews from those who passed through the terminals of these airports during 2012. Customers were asked to rate various aspects of each airport including their services, shopping, restaurants, bars and waiting lounges.
Singapore changi is the #1. 3 times transit through that airport in the last 3 months and i saw it real... completed facility and very comfortable place and excellent services..
I've been to 9 of the 20, and it will soon be 10. The U.S. has none on the list, that doesn't surprise. We got to try to have at least one. Thanks for the video.
Best Airports of 2012 The Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand was the overall winner. Out of 5 total points the airport's average rating was 4.61. Many customers commented favorably about the modernity of the facilities, the overall comfort level and cleanliness, the excellent treatment received, and the express access to Bangkok city center on the airport's railway link network.
Lol Rofl In my terminal there was nothing but a small food court, a few shops selling nout but tat, you had to go through security when you were just transiting (during which I noticed the security personnel paid no attention to what was going through the scanner) and the toilets were appallingly cleaned and stunk so bad I nearly threw up. Absolutely appalling airport.
I've been lucky enough to visit the top 3 airports on this list. All three or absolutely stunning in terms of aesthetics and design, but really, it's the services offered there that make them stand out. Especially in the South Korean Incheon Airport.
+이지환 well u r wrong missy new delhi airport has been winning the top grade in its class of airports...perhaps u would like to do some research b4 giving sweeping comments
Nikolaas MTA 1st explain me one thing bro. Why are westerners so ignorant about this world? For west a Sikh is a Taliban even when both ideologies are poles apart. For west, Subcontinent is Middle East, For west, all Asians are either Chinese of Japanese. I mean why is level of Education going so low in West? For you Dubai == Abu Dhabi? I only hope you have a good quality internet to see google Maps. Also for more clarity do find out which airport has code of DXB and AUH. :)
I feel like Madrid-Barajas should have been on here. Visited Spain a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. Not too crowded, check in/customs were a breeze, and the underground system was pretty cool!
+thushan sylva i agree, the largest, the most beautiful and most architecturally unique design aside from being the most luxury airport. The publisher of this video has obviously not seen yet the Dubai Airport.
+Arqui Hipolito in singapore by 2018 there will be a huge makeover that i am pretty sure tourists will like nothing can beat dubai of course but do agree right now singapore and incheon are the best
+Master Chief they are making a huge dome like mall in between terminals 1,2 and 3 i saw the designs very natural and futuristic but like i said nothing can beat dubai :)
+Master Chief i've been in singapore, so i've seen their airport, and i 've been in dubai , so i can compare these 2 airports, so definitely, i know the difference which is which. .
Izam Fadhli Haha u should take back ur words coz KLIA 2 is now on risk of sink... Malaysia is the Most beautiful country but the goverment is worst as h*ll..#salam1mdb haha
+Ismail Mazlan I'm pretty sure klia2 is doing better than klia thanks to it being the hub of air asia.Just wait for the 200 new plane ordered by air asia to arrive.Then,klia2 will surely be one of the busiest airport in the world.
meaning "The Golden Land", began operating in September of 2006 and is a piece of architectural art in itself. The airport was designed by Helmut Jahn and is a wave-like structure that in 2012 was Instagram's most photographed location in the world. The airport has the fourth largest single building terminal in the world making room for its ample selection of services.
I've been to a few of those airports and I have to say Vancouver International was one of the most beautiful airports with a very warm and homey atmosphere.
I've been to 9 airports on the list, Sydney, London Heathrow, Osaka Kansai, Tokyo Narita, Hong Kong, Beijing Capital, Shanghai Pudong, Incheon and Singapore Changi. I love Changi the most, perhaps coz I usually travel Singapore Airlines.
Incheaon i definitely the best! Its the best airport to be stuck in during delays. The passenger lounges are awesome. They got free massage chairs, free lazy boy seats, even free shower
i still cant believe Kuala Lumpur international airport ( KLIA ) can beat London Heathrow , Frankfurt , Narita , Sydney airport and Abu Dhabi ! proud !!!! :D
Agree. I had a rotten experience arriving at YVR last year. They picked me for additional screening. They looked through my luggage, asked a bunch of dumb questions, and delayed me leaving the airport for nearly an hour. For a moment I thought they were not going to allow me in. The finally cleared me, after photocopying my passport, and said I could go. No explanation at all. Don't complain about the TSA until you experience YVR. Vancouver, though, is an extremely nice city.
Well as a ferquent tracveler to the region I confess it is Efficiency Incarnated, It may not be esthethically beautiful but SIN Airport officials have definitively done an amazing job. My luggage is waiting as soon as I enter the baggage claim and the security checks are one of the most efficient I have ever experienced!
Actually I was really shocked about the service at Charles de Gaulle Airport. They were trying to teach a 'customer' how to pronounce English. The customer was me who lived in the states more than two years and mastered English literature. That information is not directly related to my English speaking, but I never had any problem with that. Even she had a strong French accent while speaking in English. Service doesn't mean how big it is, how nice they are.
Wow, I'm a Singaporean and I am proud that Singapore Changi Airport is 2nd, btw, that Singapore Changi Airport shown is terminal 3. Can be connected to terminal 1 and 2 by Airport Sky Train, or public bus, which costs money. And also, I didn't know that Beijing Capital Intl. Airport's Sky Train is so nice, nicer than Singapore's.
What makes Incheon airport become # 1 airport in the world in 2012 aren't so much in airport design but on time performance, amenities that airport provide to transist passengers. For example, Incheon has free transist hotel right inside the terminal vs free transist hotel 30 minutes away from the Dubai Airport. Incheon has free Seoul city tour+free lunch. The length of tour is accordingly to how long you lay over. Korean lets foreign travellers experience its culture right inside the terminal
Airport council international has ranked New Delhi Airport, India as the second best in the category of 25-40 million. It's strange that Skylark has not mentioned it ..
Mrfalafl , you are right . Even I am surprised that Abu Dhabi Airport was mentioned but not Dubai . Dubai is one of the best airports in the world and deserves to be in the TOP 3 . Well Top Spyder has got is information messed up .
I'm pretty sure Skytrax has done a review on Dubai. Despite its outstanding architectural designs, the major problem with the airport (according to service reviews on Skytrax) are: not enough seating, inefficient transit services, poor crowd control (particularly at immigration and security) and absence of hygienic facilities (lack of parent rooms). Yes, it looks great. But beauty alone is not enough; there needs to be practicality and efficiency.
I've been to Heathrow 3 times in the last 4 years. I feel no motivation to give it a vote up unfortunately. The stores are nice. But it also has old, dirty, dingy parts. The service is very cold. It is the only airport to have lost my luggage more than once. Small amounts of snow also wreak havoc on such an important hub. Copenhagen... that's a nice organized one in my experience!
#1 Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) Bangkok Thailand 4.61 #2 Changi Airport (SIN) Singapore Singapore 4.60 #3 Chek Lap Kok Airport (HKG) Hong Kong China 4.57 #4 Narita International Airport (NRT) Tokyo Japan 4.55
I've been to Kuala Mulpur International Airport, HK International Airport, Dubai International Airport, Paris Charles De Gaulle, Paris Orly, Rome Fiumicino, Rome Ciampino, Vienna International Airport, Auckland International Airport, Singapore Changi Airport and I'd say the Malaysian and Hong Kong airport are the best.
I didn't see DIA on this list! Denver's airport handles 145,000 people per day, over 52 million people a year, and I've never had any hassle there. Come on Skytrax!
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is in the TOP 10.. yes! This airport is one of the best in the world.. Plus, their MAS airlines cabin crew is one of the best in the world.. Indeed! I love Malaysia..
I'm so sad because no Bangkok, Thailand. i really like Bangkok Airport and i love Thai peoples cause They are smile all time , Friendly and Hospitality of Thai.
Even if transist passengers do not wish to stay in the free hotel, they can checkin the "Spa in the Air" a.k.a Jimjibang to Koreans which locates in the terminal's basement. Have you ever heard " magic boarding pass?" program which gives discount to ground transportation as well as other discount in currency exchange, duty free at the airport. Another word, transist passenger do not get bored, or no place to sleep during a long lay over at Incheon Airport
That last pic that respresented Incheon airport was actually a pic of Denver.....
Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok Should have been in the list !! I love this airport
YES....KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT NO 8.....GOOD JOB ALL OF U...REALLY HAPPY STILL IN RANKING...

Yes, there were built so many years ago! Look at those brand new airports in any Asian cities like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, HK, Korea, Japan
are stunning both inside and outside! Very stylish designed building and the latest technology.
Good to see Changi back at #1 in 2013, Incheon was over rated anyway!
Each to their own I guess. Would you happen to be Korean by any chance? No, I'm not Singaporean by the way!
Exactly
Well I know that I would rather spend 7 or 8 hours at Changi than Incheon! Now if only they could do something about the beer price at Changi, I would be happy as a pig in shit lol :- D

Dubai International Airport - Skytrax's official "World 3-Stars Airport". As of 2012, the airport is ranked #26 in the world.

Incheon is amazing and the food is unreal. I flew through there going to Manila.
Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport is the best airport in Indonesia since 2013, maybe in the world too?
I live in Singapore, so number 2! I hope you enjoyed your stay here; even if it was only transit!
Don't complain about the TSA until you experience YVR. wow... i"m so lucky... Singapore Changi Airport was the first airport i got the chance to land... I'm very happy Changi got rank 2!!!!!!
I have pleasant experiences with KLIA and Incheon Intnl Airport, must say that they deserve to be in the top list..
Thx supporting our airport

Well as a ferquent tracveler to the region I confess it is Efficiency Incarnated, It may not be esthethically beautiful but SIN Airport officials have definitively done an amazing job. Great choice of music, ATB - Summer!
Airport council international has ranked New Delhi Airport, India as the second best in the category of 25-40 million. It's strange that Skylark has not mentioned it ..
you're right, mate! Not forgetting that Singapore's airport is rated best airport on most charts and to most people :)

Welcome to Incheon international airport. Incheon airport in island. Incheon airport is big and cool!

jude okolie is right , your"best airport" should mean by good service, efficiency, saftey, etc.
