You're very welcome, Lilly Girl72! I'm glad you found the video helpful for your upcoming trip to Tokyo. Haneda Airport can be a bit overwhelming for first-time travelers, so I'm delighted to hear that this video provided some direction. Have a fantastic time exploring Tokyo next month, and safe travels! 🗼🇯🇵✈️ Arigato for watching and leaving your kind comment!
I'm visiting Feb 8-23 and so excited, Haneda airport. I'm actually in the process of figuring out how I can get employment in Japan and support myself (I make a six figure income here in America). I know people would say I'm crazy to leave this position but I want to live in a country where you don't need eyes in the back of your head.
Thank you so much for sharing your exciting plans to visit Japan! It's always inspiring to hear about individuals exploring new opportunities and following their dreams. Your decision to consider employment in Japan is truly commendable, and it reflects a courageous spirit. It's not every day that someone takes the leap to explore life in a different country, especially when they have a successful career elsewhere. The idea of living in a country where you feel a sense of security and tranquility is undoubtedly appealing. Japan, with its rich culture and unique way of life, can offer a refreshing change of pace. It's clear that you've put a lot of thought into this decision, weighing the pros and cons. It's not crazy at all to seek a different lifestyle and prioritize a sense of safety and peace. The pursuit of happiness often involves making bold choices, and it seems like you're ready for this exciting adventure. While leaving a six-figure income position may seem daunting to some, it's evident that your heart is set on creating a fulfilling life in Japan. We applaud your courage and wish you the very best as you navigate this new chapter. Keep us updated on your journey, and we hope your time in Japan. Safe travels and best wishes on this incredible adventure! Warm regards,
What is the huge line for ending at 8:54? I’m going to arrive in T3 and depart from T3, carry-on luggage only. Am I going to have to wait in this massive line? I only have 2 hours.
Hi, as you can see at 8:54 , it seems like they are lining up for transferring flights from Haneda. As far as I know, people who arrive and enter Japan were all exiting smoothly from where I was heading.
@@kojacksvlog7557 I was also transferring to another international flight, which is why I was worried about this line. My line ended up being FAR shorter than this and went quickly. But this one is huge. I would recommend to anyone transferring through Haneda for another international flight to have at least a 3 hour layover. Anything less than that, and you're flirting with trouble.
@@PricklyPearAC I'm going thru in November with about 7 hours to kill in Haneda so I'm not so worried about the line. However, in probably over 20 times thru Tokyo I don't recall seeing a line that long before. I've always been impressed with how fast Toyko/Seoul can move their lines for connecting international flights. I am jealous of the ease and quickness he went thru immigration to enter Tokyo. I know coming back into Ohare it can take a couple of hours for US citizens to clear immigration.
Next week, I’ll need to transfer from Haneda to Narita airport. I’ll arrive at 13:30 and my flight departs from Narita at 17:30. Is 4 hours enough time to transfer between the two airports? Is the bus ride time one hour? Is there a security check after arriving at Haneda? Are the lines at Narita long?
Hi, Transferring from Haneda to Narita airports can be manageable, but there are a few factors to consider. With a 4-hour layover and a 17:30 departure from Narita, you should have enough time, but there are some points to note. Bus Ride: The bus ride between Haneda and Narita airports can take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. It's crucial to factor this into your schedule. Check here > tokyo-haneda.com/en/access/narita/index.html Security Check: Typically, there isn't a security check when transferring between Haneda and Narita, as both are domestic airports within Japan. However, there could be customs and immigration checks. Make sure to follow the guidance provided at Haneda Airport for international transfers. Lines at Narita: The lines at Narita Airport can vary depending on the time of day and how busy the airport is. It's advisable to arrive at Narita with some extra time to spare in case of any unexpected delays. Check here >> www.haneda-tokyo-access.com/en/haneda-airport/haneda-narita.html Given these factors, 4 hours should provide a reasonable buffer for your transfer, but it's always wise to arrive at Narita with some time to spare, especially for international flights. Consider taking an earlier bus to account for potential traffic. Safe travels, and I hope your transfer goes smoothly!
Man… just two weeks ago I began my adventure in Japan for the first time, how I remember and miss stepping into that airport and realizing how far I am away from home. I arrived back home a few days ago- but I am seriously longing to go back to Japan. 😭❤️🫶
It sounds like you had an incredible experience in Japan! The feeling of being in a new country, especially one as culturally rich as Japan, can be so captivating. It's amazing how a place can leave such a lasting impression, making you want to go back even before you've fully left. Who knows, maybe you'll find your way back to Japan for another adventure in the future. 🌸🗾Keep spreading the love for Japan and inspiring others to embark on their own journeys! 💪🎥🌏
I was thinking the same thing. When I travel with my family, and we are in that situation, I have them join the queue while I go ahead to see what it's for.... I've had a few international transfers in Narita, and it was pretty rough (similar to Frankfurt). I haven't been to Narita though (but will be, in May).
Hi, if you are referring to the "long queue" that you mentioned at 8:54 ( ruclips.net/video/cBfp58YL6fw/видео.html ) , it seems like they are lining up for transferring flights from Haneda. As far as I know, people who arrive and enter Japan were all exiting smoothly from where I was heading.
Hello there! No, when you use the e-gate at Haneda entry, you will not receive a physical passport stamp. The e-gate system allows for a quick and automated immigration process, and your entry and exit information will be electronically recorded. Rest assured that your immigration details are properly registered even without the physical stamp. Have a pleasant journey!
I actually like to get passport stamp for collection. But I will be arriving Haneda airport at 10.15pm and I might need to catch the last train to my hotel. May I know how long is the queue for manual clearance?
Proximity to the city center: Haneda Airport is located closer to central Tokyo compared to Narita Airport, which is located further away in Chiba Prefecture. The shorter distance can make Haneda more convenient and time-saving for travelers. Transportation options: Both airports offer various transportation options, including trains, buses, and taxis. However, Haneda Airport is better connected to Tokyo's extensive train and subway network, making it easier to reach the city center and other parts of Tokyo. Narita Airport requires a longer train or bus ride to reach central Tokyo.
That’s only for ppl with Revisit Permission Although The immigration Officer will do it for you with a Printer size machine while sticking the stamp with no extra question (only confirm in Narita), as you need it for Tax Free purchases You can use the Gates when exiting tho
Hi there. Thanks for this. We arrive from UK in Sept 23 ...if we need the visitor stamp in passport for JR Pass, are we not able to use the e-gates ? Would we need to see a human being !? Thanks
If you need a visitor stamp in your passport for the JR Pass, it is recommended to go through the immigration counters where you can have your passport stamped by a human immigration officer. The e-gates may not provide the option to obtain the necessary stamp. It's best to consult the immigration officials at the airport for the most accurate information regarding the process. Enjoy your trip to Japan!

Hello! When arriving at Tokyo Haneda Airport as a tourist, the process for passport stamping may vary depending on your nationality and specific circumstances. In many cases, tourists do receive a passport stamp upon entry as a record of their arrival. I am a Japanese resident, so I went through the e-gates without a stamp. However, some travelers from certain countries may be eligible for automated entry processes, such as e-gates or electronic immigration kiosks, which can streamline the immigration process. These automated systems can be used by travelers without checked baggage, like yourself. To ensure a smooth arrival, I recommend checking with the Japanese immigration authorities or the airline you're flying with for the most up-to-date information on the entry procedures and whether you'll need to visit a manned immigration counter or if you can use the automated gates. Safe travels and enjoy your visit to Tokyo!"
