Winning from a roll doesn’t mean a car is faster. A lot of cars perform better on the low gears. Digs to the 1/2 mile or even the mile are what show real straight line acceleration.

Better top end? 2nd race CLEARLY shows the AMG can't keep up until AFTER 160 MPH and at that point the audi let off the gas. And at 160+ MPH who GAF who's faster unless your trying to go to prison for 10 damn years getting caught doing 180+ what do YOU think the judge is gonna say to you? LOL. For the rs3 having a bigger turbo (assuming tt700 or ims710 if he is making mid 600 whp) that 60-130 seemed pretty slow. They were pretty equal till 130 so just assuming the rs3 did about the same that just seems slow. Most rs3s with a tte700 are easily in the mid 5s. granted i guess having 1 other person in the car can make a difference but a whole second seems like a lot.

I thought with those pure 1000 turbos and bolt on mods the amg would be faster then 6.56? Prob 6.2 without passenger. Figured more when my stock turbo RS7 runs 6.9-7.0.
Doesn't matter hardly at all. The difference between ambient temp and underhood temp is nothing compared to the temp increase from the compressor. It's all about the intercooler

Simple concept you have to understand is that the colder the air going in the more gas you can burn. The hotter the air , less gas. It has nothing to do with charged air and intercooler bud. It's before that. We are talking about combustion, you're talking about internal and turbo cooling???

I’d also like to add that it’s not these specific cars, there’s cars on the channel that have 9-1K whp and they barely crack into the 5s or stay low 6s… I’m just curious if the DA wherever hes at makes the cars slower… Just for reference my gtr when it was stock turbo did - 6.5-6.6 with bolt ons… with hybrid turbos it did 5s. If the gtr can do that, there’s no reason both cars here can’t do better
Yeah, but the 4 cylinder in itself is an awesome engine. Of course it’s no v8 and I would argue that I would even prefer their new-ish inline 6 from the 53 models over the 4 cylinder, but the engine on its own will be able to produce over 500whp with just a tune. Combined with the electric motor, a simple tune or tune and downpipe will have the car at over 700whp. Listen to the gen 2 CLA45 with a downpipe, they sound damn good regardless of cylinder count, it reminds me of a flat plane crank v8 a little. They could’ve done a lot worse

That CTS intake is one of the worst for the platform. It's the baby dick pipe more so than the open intake.

Can someone explain why the 60-130's are so slow? I dont mean it in an offensive way, but these cars should both be mid to low 5's right?
