*Great unit that’s easy to install and use. It’s relatively quiet compared to window units and **Fastly.Cool** , and it cools down our whole living room, side room and bathroom; which is a large space for any unit to cool.*

If you press the fan and light button simultaneously it links it to the fan transmitter. Instructions on hunter website, not included with universal switch unfortunately.
Wall control works fine with a fan that already comes with its own remote. Just install the wall control, do not install the module that goes in the fan housing. Long press the light and fan buttons on the wall control and your good.
@@rickygonzalez6280so when module receiver is connected only remote will work and I should remove that and pair with wall switch only? Having the issue of only remote working and not wall switch controls.

Thank you for your video. I’m having trouble looking for a fan that can dim down from 0-100%. The led fans seem to stop at 10%. It’s too bright to sleep in. The old fan didn’t have a remote and it wasn’t necessary. With the wall switch, can you dim down till it’s off?
With the wall switch we have it can't dim the light. Nancy, appreciate you watching! Come check out our main channel 5 Minute Eats - ruclips.net/user/5MinuteEats 🤣❤️🇺🇸
We installed new Hunter ceiling fan w light and remote. It is switched from wall for power. The ceiling wiring has green ground, black,2 white tied together and a red wire. Connection to fan w receiver seems clear except red which is assumed as power from switch. All does not work after power on, switch on and remote tried. Could red wire connection to black remote wire be error? Steve

How did you find out that universal remote would work with the switch as well? Do I have to use the hunter wall switch or can I use my current switches? Is there any kind of special wiring that needed to be done? If so could you find out from your electrician how he did it?
We didn't know if the remote would work with the switch. I bought it and told my electrician to try it and if it didn't work I was willing to eat the cost. My electrician didn't think it would work. Luckily it worked. 🤣
Do you know if the receiver (transmitter) you used came with the remote, or the wall controller? The links seems to indicate receivers come with both of them. Do you think it matters which gets used? Will both transmit to both wall switch and remote simultaneously? Thanks!
Both comes with a transmitter. We used the one I believe from the remote and threw the other one out. The key was both had to be programmed to receive the same code. Wish we could be of more help but our electrician did the install. We're not very handy. Hope this helps Bill ❤️🇺🇸🙏

You won't regret it. We've had ours for over a year and it's nice to have 3 different ways to control the fan/lights. Appreciate you watching. Don't forget to subscribe!
Not true. You can use the remote that comes with the fan, and pair the wall remote with the same receiver. For my model you just turn off the switched power to the fan, wait ten seconds, then turn it on and press down the FAN and LIGHT buttons on the remote simultaneously for five seconds. The fan lights flash and it starts to spin on slow to show it's paired. No need to buy a universal remote.
Sounds like Hunter has updated things since we dealt with this. Thanks for letting us know. Robert, appreciate you watching and don't forget to give us a like and a subscribe! 🤣♥️🇺🇸
We aren't very handy. Our electrician installed it. The important point we wanted to make was that you can have the wall control and remote at the same time even though Hunter fans says it's not possible. Before we installed this, I called Hunter to find out if I could have both and they insisted no but as this video proves....it's possible. Scott, hope this clears things up. Highly recommend it for your house. Don't forget to like and subscribe! ❤️🇺🇸🤣

We talked about it briefly in the video. Can't go into step by step because we hired an electrician to install it.
Does it work with Leds lights
Yes! All of our hunter fans are LED and it works beautifully.
