Excellent video,I have an H2 06 Hummer and my mechanic said the Chevy would NOT sell him the BLOWER resistor period !!!. The Chevy dealer told my mech to send the customer to them becuase its an electrical issue. The cost was going around 800.00 dollars to fix (lol) and the chicago winter was about to start. Thank to AMAZON a replacement resistor cost me 25.00 after market and worked just fine. Shame on Chevy for deliberately trying to take advantage of hummer H2 owners that a simple mechanic can repair.
The leak is coming from your passenger side cowel area. You need to take your windshield wipers apart and remove your cowel and you’ll see a plastic lid on the passenger side that the adhesive is no longer good. I used the flex seal tape and mine is no longer leaking. Let me know if that helped.
Great video....The H2 is a off-road beast, but so sensitive with it's electrical system. Dead or dying batteries cause so much headaches. Now off to test fuses, then resistor, then hopefully that's all.
I went thru the exact same thing you did where I had the part from eBay and it appeared to be missing a wire harness so I went to internet and found a resistor that says it doesn’t fit my hummer but it worked cause I spliced the wires from The original harness to the new.

Disconnect the OnStar and the battery issue should go away.
Very good! I gave the vid link to a German Hummer Group. They will now learn from You.
Great video and detailed instructions. I think the 04 was the only H2 with a cabin filter. Change that too.

Thank you! Well presented.
Leaks from the roof marker light or the blower cover is dry rotted. You will need to get to the blower from the top.
Good job!
