- IM BACK. Been a minute due to my surgery but today I show you guys how to repack your FMF 4.1 exhaust and how to heat wrap your header pipes!! This job took a lot of time but you know it's because I have to clean everything perfect and this was a first for me so I had to learn some things. I'm sure you guys will learn a few things by watching!

Haha thanks man! It really isn’t too hard just take your time and be patient when putting the pipe back together, fitting the core back into the can was the hard part
Isopropyl alcohol/ panel wipe is best for residue removal you can also use a toffee wheel.

Try a thermal barrier coating on the next one! Swaintech and zircotec are probably the biggest names that do it.

Try lime away next time to clean the pipe. It will look brand new.

Mike, maybe because he used dremel to remove the “wire” that comes from factory and said it was pervious mechanic that did bad work.
I have to admit repack job on the fmf 4.1 is a pita to reassemble!!! I gave up for today, will try again tomorrow! Do you have trick to give me ?
Yeh it wasn’t very easy but all i can say is be patient, the hardest part is lining up the core with the endcap when assembling so take your time on that and don’t panic haha it can be done.
I saw a vid where the guy Soaked the Wrap in Water first,then wrapped the Pipe & it Shrunk onto the Pipe as it Dried,did you know about that ? Just wondering if you knew about that
