If you are not embarrassed by version 1.0 you waited to long... something like that. Totally normal and very happy you kicked off the Vlog and stuck with it. Favorable vlog! Appreciate your good work. Thanks.
Brad, about 4 years ago John Lee Dumas (JLD) started an awesome podcast called Entrepreneur On Fire. Looking back he is totally embarrassed by his first 100 episodes. BUT 1500 episodes later and he is crushing it! Making huge $$ and has built an awesome community. You can do same. Keep at it and I hope you enjoy it? It shows on your videos if you are having fun. Good luck. You are off to a super start.
I can't believe you were at O'Mally's!!! My daughter bartends there and her hubby is the manager there. Tell Them hi from their Mother and mother in law from Vermont and Florida!!! He's a big poker player to except he is better than me! Crazy you were there!! I have been watching your videos since the beginning and subscribed. I love them!!
Hahaha, that's awesome! Everyone there was great, we had a blast. We actually went back a second time later in the week. Thanks a lot for watching and subscribing :)
Brad, it was a pleasure watching your stream. I'm honestly taking poker (Texas No Limit-Hold'em) a lot more serious then I've ever considered. In fact, the knowledge you supply, helps me entirely improve my game. So, thank you and good-luck at the tables mate!
Brad this is really good stuff I know I’m late to your Vlog but I’ve started on episode 1 and going to catch the entire journey, so far it’s been really great each vlog gets better and better I’ve made it this far and can’t wait to get all caught up and hopefully can catch you in Vegas some time. Thanks for all the analysis and hand break downs this is such a great thing most poker pros do not take the time to do for FREE!!!! Anyways thanks again and can’t wait to see more!
B Owen and A Neeme definitely have the best vlogs and, coincidentally, they are buddies and even collaborate for some lol's in a couple vlogs. Great hand analysis and I'm diggin the soundtracks and montages of the scenery at the casinos. Thanks for the great vlogs gentlemen
Great videos Brad. Love watching poker guys do more than just grind. Gotta enjoy life a bit. Rough luck on the 10-9 hand but certainly can relate. Looking forward to your next vlog
Very cool to see you make a poker vlog in my home casino. Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a great venue for poker and is home to some of the softest 1/2 1/3 games ive ever played.
Can't wait to see how Kevin does Day two in the 3k event. That 2-5 game you were in seemed juicy, to bad you couldn't get the cards to run your way. Funny, you played against the mid pair flush draw, then played the mid pair flush draw. Saw you in pokerkrotes video, funny you didn't recognize him. Your videos are getting better all the time. At first you were a little stiff, now your personality is coming out, and you are getting better at teasing the audience to keep them hooked.
Nice episode. Just a side note I got tired of the bar scene about 2 years ago and watching your ending reminded me why. Nothing personal but after a while the noise, the having to yell to talk and just drunk people gets old. God, did I turn into the "GET OFF MY LAWN GUY". LOL.
At 8:27 river is a good spot to overbet jam and get them off a chop pot. I hate a medium sized bet here because 2pr is never calling and straights are never folding.
He snuck attacked me with his tiny camera in his hand lol. Didn't know he was videoing and when I realized he was I thought oh shit please don't put this in a vlog. I was hanging out with Andrew, we should've all gotten a pic but Kevin had to leave shortly after he said hi.
dear brad ..wow the vlog has got me each week i wait to see what brad is up to love the tawny ep by the way ..i have a friend thats coming your way soon it would mean a great deal to me if you could take the time to meet him he does not play poker at all... but hes my mate and if you get on your coming to aus....1 drink when your not working will be fine ..hes my best mate and shall i say a awsome guy..keep up the good work dazza
Haha when is he in town? I could probably meet up with him as long as I'm not traveling. You can email me at bradowen4@gmail.com to coordinate something.
Do you play at Thunder Valley often? I have only lived in the area for about a year and a half. Thunder Valley has become one of my favorite places to paly.
I really like Stones but sounds like you may have time to check both out. Stones is nice because they have a poker room sectioned off with glass so no smoke gets in. I wish more poker rooms would do that.
great Vlog by the way Brad. I disagree with your explanation of not getting involved with the T9s hand. Sure you're out of position but I believe it to be precisely the hand that you want to be completing the preflop action with 5 ways to a flop. Seeing that you mentioned that this is an action game. You got the right flop and a bit unlucky to have to chop with such rag hands in the end. However that is the semi smash flop you wanted and your price to call warrants seeing this flop. Keep up the good work!
Shawn Scott exactly,? Suited connectors are going to make larger value hands that crush in multiway. 3 limpers and a discount in the SB, great chance to flop straight and flush draws.
NoReaSoN2CaR3 hey dude I'm on your side in agreement. In fact if you read my comment again you'd probably figure that out. ......value hand T9s could be the greatest 5 handed hand ever. Cmon man!?? read read read
Shawn Scott would rather have 78 suited in that spot since T9's value is consisted of a good amount of face cards for its straight combos which theoretically more people already have given that several people limped (people play Broadway cards)
speedy1388 first off he didn't get dealt 78s...secondly all mid suited connectors are extremely playable in multiway pots....third, if all players are conceivably limping with paint cards, they play bad and lastly people can form opinions on poker theory forever. Play the cards you're dealt and hit flops , turns or rivers
It's not always easy sharing mistakes and losses but I think they're very important to show. I really appreciate the comments you've left. It's cool to see a lot of people from Andrew's channel now over here. I hope he sells a lot of "Favorable" shirts.
What happened to your voice! I started watching your vlogs about two year ago and currently still do. I busted out laughing when you started talking! Who are you?
When people are really wide preflop it's actually EASIER to make a profit. Because they're going to flop nothing and fold the flop more often, or continue with extremely weak holdings against your top pair type hands. It increases your variance because now you have to win showdown, but it doesn't make the game less profitable.
i think there is merit for checking the turn (T9s hand) after the disaster happens and it checks through. As you mentioned in these games the opponents hardly fold so i think it's better to check call and then get some value if u hit your hand, instead of betting the turn and getting raised or called multi-ways and missing the river and not having a chance to bluff the pot successfully? MAYBE im wrong, just wanted to share my opinion and hear what you have to say (: nice videos btw! subscribed ;)
That was a good add at the end. You were embarrassed you only got 7 views and we're going to take it down after two hours. That probably happens more often than not, and because of it many would be great vlogs never even get going.
What does everyone think of 3betting the 9Ts in the SB? Gives you more ways to win the hand. Anyone take a 3bet line with these hands in the SB on these types of loose tables?
Calling a $25 bet with 10 7 and 6 5 off. No wonder it is hard to win with big hands. This is the play of the majority of amateurs these days in cash games.
You stuck me for $5 at the 2/5 game, so you're welcome on one of those beers. I think I limped, saw your raise, then noticed your iPhone positioned to film and quickly folded my marginal hand. Ever find players play differently because they know you are recording some hands?
It sounds like you are playing differently because you know I'm recording lol. I think people do to some extent. I'm also recording when I have a hand like T9 suited or when I'm opening with other weaker holdings. I try to stay balanced. Sometimes I can use it to my advantage a little.
is this a good call we are down to last 4 in a live tournament blinds are 10 and 20k i go all in with AQ in the SB for 90k BB is already 20k in with a 200k stack and he calls with 8/5 off saying my stack is to small to fold and he hits two pair WTF is that ? when r u gonna upload day two of the monster stack
You gotta put that what they should and shouldn't do shit out of your mind man. 90% of those idiots are going to gamble, and 90% of them have no concept of any kind of strategy like position, stack sizes, etc., they just want to play pots. I've also found that in those stakes of games, you can get away with a lot bigger raises pre flop and a lot bigger size bets on your bluffs. Even though most of them will play a super wide bingo range like the 6-5 off, most won't put in a couple hundred with middle pair or maybe even top pair hands outside of something like AK. But you can use that to your advantage when you know they have a big hand and you have them beat. Also hands like that 9-10 are hand you break then with. I usually will play almost anything against polarized nut hand players because I know if I hit like 2 pair or some crazy straight or something, I get every chip they have, their car...house. ..first born...you get the picture.
Being aware of other players' mistakes is important to pay attention to. Primarily so that you can formulate a strategy against them. Also, I point them out because I don't want beginners who watch this to think that it's ok to do those things. I'm happy when I see players at my table making mistakes. You have some other good points but if we're playing T9 to hit two pair or some crazy straight trying to break these types of players then we essentially have the same strategy as our opponents to play bingo. It definitely can work but I just prefer to play tighter or in position.

Appreciate your insight on hands rather than just showing the hands. Thanks for analysing and breaking them down!

Thank you very much. I'm really glad it's able to help some people. Good luck to you too.
Appreciate the effort in your vlogs. One of the few , poker vlogs, that I've actually learned a thing or two about poker.
I'm glad to hear that. Thanks man.
Enjoyed the % age break downs for some of the hands, keep them up !! nice vlogs !
Great vlog for #14! Always happy for a new one to pop up!
Very cool, thanks a lot!
BTW, honesty is the most inspiring of all traits on social media, despite how good people look lying!
I always look forward to the wave at the end... classic
Thanks William!
Hey thanks for the vlog. The effort does not go unnoticed and I'll definitely continue watching!
Great videos Brad. Love watching poker guys do more than just grind. Gotta enjoy life a bit. Rough luck on the 10-9 hand but certainly can relate. Looking forward to your next vlog
You're doing awesome Brad, glad you stuck around to keep making them! I really like your hand analysis along the way!
Thank you very much!
I dig the % breakdown of hands - very helpful! Keep up the good work Brad
Brad, getting caught up on all of your videos. Really enjoy your delivery. Thank you for dedicating your time.
Very cool to see you make a poker vlog in my home casino. Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a great venue for poker and is home to some of the softest 1/2 1/3 games ive ever played.
I appreciate you doing these vlogs. I'm a good player, but I'm getting better by watching these videos. Thanks.
I would just have to shake my head if I saw the 10-4 guy turn up his hand and actually get a third of that pot. That irks me, lol!
my home casino is thunder, love o mallys, cool to see you in my town.
Yeah that place is awesome
Great VLOG and good times! Really like the hand analysis... 10-4 suited!?!?
Wow amazing thanks for the explanation break down on the table game. I don't even know how to play always watch .
Great episode, informative and entertaining. Quality keeps going up.
Can't wait to see how Kevin does Day two in the 3k event. That 2-5 game you were in seemed juicy, to bad you couldn't get the cards to run your way. Nice episode. Just a side note I got tired of the bar scene about 2 years ago and watching your ending reminded me why. Nothing personal but after a while the noise, the having to yell to talk and just drunk people gets old. God, did I turn into the "GET OFF MY LAWN GUY". LOL.
Lol, I usually don't like loud places either but if I'm with the right people then it's ok. I normally prefer a little quieter places to grab a drink.
Fuck, I'm third????
Brad Owen lol
Where is the special episode you talked about in the beginning? Which vlog number is it?
At 8:27 river is a good spot to overbet jam and get them off a chop pot. I hate a medium sized bet here because 2pr is never calling and straights are never folding.
Brad and kevin, Poker's cutest couple.
I liked vlog #1.
Thank you for sharing and being honest.
Monotone voice* "We were having too much fun". Lol. We had 5 shots and met 49% of people at the bar = 51% good time.
I'm a new subscriber and enjoyed this one. I liked having the two story lines. Keep up the good work!
Awesome. Thanks a lot. I was a little concerned it might be a little too much to go back and forth between the two of us so I'm happy you liked it.
Brad, calling you out for having no idea who Poker Kraut was when he said hi to you last week lol.
He snuck attacked me with his tiny camera in his hand lol. Didn't know he was videoing and when I realized he was I thought oh shit please don't put this in a vlog. I was hanging out with Andrew, we should've all gotten a pic but Kevin had to leave shortly after he said hi.

Great people in sacto ... I used to live there...
what app is that he is using that shows hand equities?
I will be in the Sacramento area for a couple weeks. Stones or Thunder recommendations?
I really like Stones but sounds like you may have time to check both out. Stones is nice because they have a poker room sectioned off with glass so no smoke gets in. I wish more poker rooms would do that.
Yeah your first vlog was a little rough lol. Glad you stuck with it. :)

Shawn Scott lol wasn't looking to argue...I know he didn't get dealt 78s I was just saying that bc you said T9 might be best 5-handed hand ever
You guys should check out Sauced, next time you guys are in Downtown Sac. Good vlog btw.
what is 10-4 still doing in that hand? people play strange hands sometimes....
Good stuff kid I like to see your making it fun and not some miserable guy with headphones who don't socialize...
i've never seen someone get pocket aces this much, every episode, haha
Been waiting for this.
I love your style Brad keep it up.
great vlog again.
dig your honesty, keep up the good work

"rather favorable flop"
In the 65 vs AQ vs T7hh hand, while you lose equity, the pot also gets bigger. 65o coming in isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Yeah it ended up being great since I won a little on the side too.
You are very watchable, keep it up... (so to speak) !!!.
holy shit you know your poker so good to see such a smart player and so young ......can't wait to see your future (WSOP)
What happened to your voice! I started watching your vlogs about two year ago and currently still do. I busted out laughing when you started talking! Who are you?

Yeah it was a great game. I wish I was in it everyday. Just didn't make many big hands.
Ok i got a question your friend made it to the cash right? 32- 100 is that extra money he won??
Jorge he won $3200
I really like your videos. It's wayyyyy better than Doug Polk's.
I c u play in thunder valley casino where r u from and wondering some tips.....
Great video, like seeing the odds. keep flogging Bro.

Yeah I think checking there is good too.
This is the Casino where I usually play at...Good old Thunder Valley..
What was the buy in for this tournament ?
Yeah, it's a good place. Great games when we were there. The buy in was $1100.
Wtf, how does he only have 7k subscribed...
@TheNinja07 do you know where the special episode with the Sacramento filming is?
Just subscribed. Great videos, keep up the good work
Thanks a lot man, I appreciate the sub and the comment
Great job Brad!
That was a good add at the end. You were embarrassed you only got 7 views and we're going to take it down after two hours. That probably happens more often than not, and because of it many would be great vlogs never even get going.
Th 4h is always good for at least 1/3 of the pot!!! 8:38
Lost tonight with AQ off to A5 suited hearts opponent hits flush on river such bad luck for me this week
Unlucky, get them next time
youre a good player man, you remind me of myself at times lol. Nicely done
What does everyone think of 3betting the 9Ts in the SB? Gives you more ways to win the hand. Anyone take a 3bet line with these hands in the SB on these types of loose tables?
I didn't enjoy this, I loved it, Brad. Keep up the amazing work on and off the felt! No need to be embarrassed about any videos BTW. See ya next time.
Hahaha thanks a lot!
Next time your in Sac, go to Lowbrau on 20th & K. I'll get you a big ass beer and a sausage.
- One of the owners of Lowbrau
Sweet!! I definitely will do that.
How did T4 call your turn bet?
Haha good question
11:28 why does it bug me so badly when dollar bills aren't all turned the same way? OCD I guess?
Not being Negative. I love your videos!!
I know Paris from High School, girl at the end of the video.

Thank you! Hope to one day visit

Fold until you find the range...
