Great video. And no disrespect to George, but Sara is awesome! She's great interacting with all the BladeHQ folks, is so down to earth, shows interest and excitement for all the people's stories and their knives, and is just a pleasure to listen to.
As a collector I always love hearing about other collections - not the knives themselves - but the stories behind the collection and the knives. I'm always interested in what made someone buy a particular knife. Often others pick up on features of a knife that I may have missed or some aspect that maybe I need to consider. Definitely all helps when I go to make my next purchase. Top job. Sharp blades all.
I have an Esee 3 and 5. Esee had an awesome warranty. Pretty much no questions asked. 11:21 nice! I do a lot of bass fishing, even during the winter. I always catch and release, of course after I take pictures. Everyone should fish!
Liked the video because of the stories behind it. But as a life long knife entousiast and survival instructor since 1986 I don't own, use or buy any of these. In these last two years I've been backpacking Thailand for a total of 6 months and brought an SAK, a Leatherman and a Mora Basic 546. After arrival went to a hardware store and bought a local machete for some 6 dollars. I have a large collection but they are knives I want but not use. I do have some very rare to find originals in my collection.
I just received a Reate Exo-Aluminum and it's awesome! Not cheap, but it's great to have an interesting, high-quality knife without spending $300 on the other version! Would recommend!
After dropping a few knives, my go to knives in general if I’m sure my clip with catch on something: lock back or slipjoint. The spring tension keeps them closed which is a tip saver
Regarding EDC'ing a knife in any context, environment or situation... One is none and two is one. I always have two knives for EDC...in an emergency, one for me and one for my wife or companion. If I don't have to share, then I have two knives that will serve two different purposes or cover the loss or breakage of my "primary" knife. For example, a sturdy 3 1/2 inch lockblade and also a multitool such as a SAK or Leatherman (this would be for normal day to day carry...the types would change according to the situation eg. camping vs city carry).
My absolute favourite is the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 (3?) in Maxamet, but you gotta know how to use it so it doesn't break. Still bought a second one after the airport security stole it. I made sure the way it was transported was legal beforehand. I hope it cuts the security guy's hand regularely.
Absolutely no disrespect, but the sebenza is an absolute shit kicker. I wouldn't say a niech knife. Im a tradesman for my secondjob and my Sebenza has dealt with some extreme stuff. Just recently the lock bar broke, send it tk CRK within 2 week i got it back fixed and reblasted and sharpend. They got your back abUSE it! Best screwdriver ever
Bought the Revel directly from Artisan after months of waiting for it to drop. Sadly I was actually disappointed. This kind of knife having such terrible plunge grind (you get a smile after one sharpening, it's already a bit there from factory) tells a lot about how it's not designed to be used for years and keep it's coolness IMHO

I feel like Sara and the producer Stevie from Good Mythical Morning would really hit off for some reason lol

I don't do catch and release. I only fish when I need to eat.
"Marketing intern." 🤣 This made me chuckle, Justin. You're the OG on-camera.
ESEE FOR THE WIN!!!
Have many Esee blades and love them all. The 4 is always a fantastic choice.
The 4's handle is dogshit, but you keep pimping ESEE and other cheapos on every knife video on youtube.
Mercedes rocks!! She’s a pleasure to interact with.
Great vid! Love the diversity in guests! Sara did an amazing job! 👏

Sara is the GOAT! Engaging and captivating!
So you mean cute.

Check out Mercede's choice... This lady ROCKS..... Going Top Shelf from the get go
Spyderco Para 3 is the best. missing there.
Love the content. Thanks
I mean this with all due respect, it would have been hilarious if the thumbnail had an arrow pointing up that said "Girl". 😂
Sara's very good at this. More personal than our George. Flexible, adaptive.
Exactly, they should replace George with Sara.
good episode! What model is the hatchet on the wall that looks like a Fireman's axe.
I really hope Spyderco does another BHQ Exclusive tanto PM2! Mine was stolen out of the mail on the way home from some warranty work.
Great host in this video

Does Kendal have any positive experiences with folding fishing knives?
@cooper- I know which podcast you where listening to…
The Rockstead knives are impressive, but cost more than what a knife should, for me.
wait 15 years and an intern??
HR guy is a hunter! I wanna work there
They need to release a sabenza medium. Chris reeves hire me.
The core is S90V and the edge is cpm154? I would say its the opposite.
Wow that rockstead is 2000 +dollars
What do you carry sara?
And what knives does Sarah recommend?
WTF! Mercedes is wearing my damn sweater!
Poor george got the boot.😢hmm

Benchmade Adira & Benchmade Undercurrent
I could buy a lot of fish for the price of a benchmade filet knife.
A little music and a proper intro wouldn’t hurt! Nice video though
First!!!!!
What’s in your pocket Sara?
2nd
fifteen years and still an intern?
Just say NO to chinese made knives
Of course it's HR that's into psychopathic pass times.
Hunting makes you a psychopath? 😂 😂
What a freak show. Except Sara, of course. The knives presented seem pretty boring to me. No?
Bought a civivi after exclusively owning spydercos for many years. All I can say is gross..
Which model? I get your reaction. No matter what that's a huge change in design language and philosophy but civivi does have some legitimate gems.
I may have missed it but a good video I would like to see is what do you use when “that knife “ needs sharpening.
