Yo, at 10:36 is that Phoenix Flames or Fire blast that spreads that nasty ignite on the 4 Adds? you literally chunk the Boss adds free for 30% :D Didnt know about that. Insane
I used Phoenix flames in that scenario cause I did not have any fireblasts. Yeah fire mage is really good for this dungeon because of the adds in all the boss fights.

is it normal tha tmy dmg still feels shit at 394 ilvl? does fire mage get that muchbetter with better gear? im starting to do 16+ and i still feel like im a liability :((
im 413 now and doin 1 or 2nd dmg in m+ i really felt the growth in like 405-413 range - getting proper stats on pieces of gear and upgrading everything there i could
Understanding the rotation is the most important part. It’s easy to learn but hard to master.
@@Tyler-mx6gc yes, i notiec i play very similar to hopeful now by watching him except some top 0,1% tactics he does
You should not focus on any outside factors other than gameplay, tanks/gear/stats/route all of that matters very little compared to actual gameplay.
Fire mage is a bit scuffed , mobs need to live enough time to build ignite in order to deal dmg . If you do low key with war , dh , rogue they ll usually blast everything before your ignite is builded . I was playing mfire at 410 but in pugs it's more painfull than enjoyable tbh
Do you use ice floes in every key?
generally yeah, shadowmoon I use shimmer unless its volcanic
Is Horn better than Voidgem on same ilvl?
Yeah I think so for mythic+

@@Loukisi90 just have to get use to playing it, once you regain control of the rhythm it feels better

I just got my fire mage to 400ilvl and my damage is still shit in 16s, I feel pretty comfortable on bosses but against trash it's just awful, I cannot get that nasty ignite, is there something I'm missing because I've been copying your playstyle but I ain't getting any results. I normally am pretty good at picking up a new class quickly but there is something about fire mage that I just don't understand in keys.
higher keys, look how long mobs live , also he gets pi often even when there is a UH DK , this is a bit fan service tbh when you see how dk benefit the pi in comparaison of mage :)

getting a better ignite is just playing the rotation better, nothing special to it. I am sure if you keep getting better at it your dmg will go up
Tbh you pick more external in 1 raid than a normal player takes over a season nothing wrong with it. You are really good yh but saying big ignite is only a question of gameplay is a lie, try to get in on mob that last 10 sec with wrong stats distribution is impossible . God, you clearly forgot how pugs play ..
