Good idea on the Gertie dress with the 1960's fabric, I believe it would look fab on you this summer. Always a pleasure to see you happy and motivated. We certainly need it here in Montréal it has been snowing for the last 2 days. The magnolia tree is in full bloom with show on it. It is quite the site. Enjoy your week🌷🌱🇨🇦
I love your green fabric. I think it will look great on you. My favorite decades is a mis-mash, from the 30’s-50’s. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
I’m in Canada, so have collected the amazing vintage 1930s, 40s and 50s feed sack fabric! Did the UK have this or something similar? I am also a HUGE fan of Liberty if London fabric from my mom, who immigrated here from Scotland and introduced me to the wonder of Liberty fabrics!
Oh that sounds heavenly! Printed feed sacks were never a thing here sadly and I've never seen them in the flesh so to speak! But we do have Liberty fabric so that is something!
What's your favourite decade for fabric design? And what are your favourite prints? Tara x
I adore the giant fabulous prints of the 50/60's era barkcloth! Nothing like wearing a dress to match granny's couch and drapes🤣❤️🤣❤️
@@sumawood I couldn't agree more!

@@TaraDeighton one of my teachers found some too with tiki prints. They even used to tell you how many sacks you needed per project.
I absolutely love the gingham dress behind you. Is it from a pattern or self drafted?
Thank you! It's a self drafted pattern but I'm thinking I might turn it into a pattern?!
