When it comes to your sewing, what is your THING? The stumbling block, the thing you can't quite deal with, the nemesis?!

This is so inspiring and comforting. Sitting in our evacuation apartment that we are living in while our ordinary apartment is being renovated and feeling pretty fragile and really appreciate your videos. Can't wait until I can move back in and start sewing again. Maybe for early summer... So much I want to sew from all the beautiful things you show. Hugs from Sweden

I hope the renovation goes well and you get back to sewing soon!

Happy rooting-tootling, Tara.🌺I can't wait for your vlogs. You are so lucky to have found the Birtwell crepe. You look really lovely in your creations. You know what suits you and you own it. Thanks for brightening my Thursday.🌷

Gosh the fabrics you’ve chosen for those dresses are so gorgeous and floaty and romantic ❤❤❤❤

Thank you ~ I think it's more about the fabric for me than anything else!

I completely understand. There are days I just look at fabrics in stores and imagine what I could do with them 💕

    Such beautiful makes, Tara! 🖤
My current sewing nemesis is PANTS! I tried three different patterns with whole or partial elastic waists and they were all fails. I’m on my 4th one, a jeans pattern with no stretch this time, so I’m hoping for a different result. One day, I’ll be able to make myself pants… 😅

Let me know how you go! I'm thinking about pants a lot right now!

What about trying wide leg trousers! My current favourite x

Love these pieced, and so enjoyed watching you make many of them.
Are you planning to make patterns to sell of say the Jubilee dress or the June bug jacket?

Thank you lovely! The Junebug jacket is available as a PDF pattern to my Diva and Icon tiers over on Patreon and I'm currently working on patterns for next year x

    All lovely makes! 😍
Tara are you getting a new furry baby? Or is it too soon to ask?
To answer your question… Fitting is hard, and a bad fit can ruin a otherwise good flow on a project!!! Buttonholes, zippers and clipping + grating bulky seams is manageable but annoying and can only be done with a well rested and calm mind 😂 let’s say I’m happy every time those bits are over.

Thank you! And I like what you say about the flow of a project! I have a Kitty fund and will be getting a furbaby next year fingers crossed!

Not sure what my THING is with sewing but anything beyond a scarf when knitting is an absolute no!
