    Enjoy watching your videos, didn’t like the way you kicked the spirit level on the floor, no wonder it always reads level 😂

      @thegardenroomguru  Месяц назад +2

      always handy to have an old level on site, leave it for the customer to have a go with when you leave on an evening😉

    Liam, are you able to draw on your whiteboard how the base would be constructed off of a concrete base? Would be much appreciated.👍

      @@thegardenroomguruI thought you might say that! It’s how the floor is separated from water/moisture to prevent rot that is like to know. Obviously very different to the ‘floating’ yet get using your threaded rod/shower method. Thanks mate, Martin.

    The plans are good you should mention at current day price the whole cost of the materials

    Hi Liam....
    Is the CLS Timber for all your walls a cheaper way to do it rather than using Treated Timber like the floor and roof please???
    Richy

    • @thegardenroomguru
      @thegardenroomguru  Месяц назад +1

      Readily available, no need for it to be treated to that extent, CLS has a treatment in it, once it’s covered, it’ll never see the light of day again and remain dry, absolutely fine

  • @richardjones8546
    @richardjones8546 Месяц назад

    Quick question, is it possible to use the tec screws when you’re going through plasterboard then into steel ??

    • @thegardenroomguru
      @thegardenroomguru  Месяц назад +1

      yeah, but not great, CT1 do an instant grab adhesive if you want to stick plaster board to steel mate

    Out of interest, have you ever built one of these with an insulated floor? Given the drive to be 100% thermally efficient these days, I'd imagine that's more and more of a requirement from customers?

  • @zlock97
    @zlock97 Месяц назад +1

    Should use ringshanks instead of str8 nails

    • @thegardenroomguru
      @thegardenroomguru  Месяц назад

      na, Paslode don't like the ringshanks on 90's, smooth is fine enough
