Hi Caitlin and Jackie! Another totally fun episode and packed with inspiration! Caitlin your Ranunculus is a beauty and that halo over Pop Grunge is amazing! Love the Party Top you knitted in Jardiner that color is so so gorgeous on you Jackie! Talking about colors out of your comfort zone you have totally inspired me to go there :) And then when Caitlin flashed the Suburban Stitcher's DK weight yarn in Lagniappe I totally flipped! What a great idea to have a bright and joyful color for the depths of winter...loved that idea so much that I found and purchased two skeins at the Modern Skein in Texas..whoot whoot!! Jackie the colors for your Throwback are stunning and it will be an absolute knock out....have fun with that knit which you will probably complete in hmmm 6 days ;) Thanks also for the mini tutorial ;) on the eyelet placement on the Party Top great info to squirrel away. Have a great one ladies and thank you for sharing your adventures in knitting!! XOXO Lynn
This was such a delightful podcast!! I laughed so hard. I’m sure I snorted a few times during the hammock assembly retelling. 2 things...firstly, I never noticed there was a problem with the sound. But the new microphone sounds wonderful. Next-ly, regarding the fish bite on the leg. When my dad and mom were first married, and poor as most young couples are, my dad went squirrel hunting. And since they were poor he didn’t have money for a game vest. While he was hunting he shot a squirrel. Since he didn’t have a game vest he stuck the squirrel in his jacket. The warmth of his body revived the squirrel and it bit him in the belly. Every time I think of this I laugh. Can you imagine the surprise when it started moving?!? As always, you have totally brightened my day. Thanks for spending time with me.
Smooches to you two! Discovered you from your Kristy Glass Knits interview and I've watched all of your podcasts. You brighten my day as much as the Grocery Girls!!!
I just found you through Knitter's League and Christine from Chelsea Yarns. I am so happy to spend time with you and am really touched by your friendship. Mostly, I can relate to Caitlin as I am a slow knitter and have not ventured to complicated patterns. So nice to find someone like me! Thanks so much for sharing1
Thankyou so much ladies! I’m grateful and so absolutely excited! And the news that I was the winner came at a much needed time. Love your gorgeous F.O.’s! I always feel inspired after watching!
Lucky Sophia! I agree with you, I've seen so many types of the Ranunculus sweater and thought meh, but Caitlin, yours is stunning! Congrats on the anniversary/podcast bday.
Great show!! Loved the results of both of your Party Tops!! Yes, that pattern was rather Challenging, and I could not wrap my head around parts of it, but I did my own thing (with the help of my LYS) and got the numbers to work etc. Mohair is such a beautiful touch, and I will continue to use that feature!!
I need that shawl nowwwwww! 😩😩😩😩 that description is epic and that swtach. ♥️ Okay I also need a Soldana and that Party Sweater. Need to knit faster ♥️😍
I started podcasting and I like blue a lot! Right now I hv two of my own designs going with shades of blue. Love you two! Keep the good energy up! Cheers!
I love your chemistry. You gals kill me. Keep up the great work. I need something happy after following the current news. Your laughter is just what I need. I joined your KAL and am going to do both the party top and the my boy lollipop. (Knitting the lollipop right now, as I am watching this podcast.)
I have only just discovered your podcast and I really enjoyed it💗 I am definitely a blue person . I love blue of all shades from navy to teal to baby blue. I look forward to catching up with more of your knits .
I just found you guys and have binge watching for weeks. My new favorite podcast! You both are such a delight and your bond and friendship reminds me of my best friend and I. Jacquie, another podcaster who mostly knits with blue yarn is the Gentle Knitter aka Nicole .. if you haven't watched her, you should!! She's a beautiful knitter with impeccable taste especially if you would enjoy some inspiration for more rustic yarn and garments. 💜💜💜
I've really enjoyed watching ALL your episodes and now I have caught up. You have the most amazing friendship. This channel has just gone to the top of my favourite list. Can I recommend The Knitter Next Door for a really great English podcast. Her aesthetic is very like yours and she gets through so much knitting, just like you do Jackie. Have a lovely summer, both of you. Looking forward so much to future episodes. Love from the west coast of Ireland. X
What a beautiful comment! Self Care is what knitting is about for me. I love being able to add a little "love" to everything that I make! And of course - share it!
I can measure the amount of time that it took from cast on to bind off on my Mae Sweater by Andrea Mowry, in Cady Jax podcasts! 😂 It took me about a week for the sweater and to binge from episode 1 to episode 17. You two are fantastic. I could not love you more! Thank you for getting me through Mae (an AMAZING knit, and I am already planning another) and for cracking me up when I had to frog back 2/3 of my sweater the first time that I cast on. 😝🥰🥰🥰
I really enjoy your podcasts! And, happy podaversary! Jackie I love your hair. Do you get it done in Madison? Where??? I live here and need to find a good salon. Thank you.
OMG, you two are like my other "half" (I know, that mathematically doesn't add up). I totally got your explanation of the Party Top eyelets, it was totally my speed ...and my son's nickname for me is "Squirrel"! Anyways, I think y'all are my new fave podcast ever
Cady Jax Knits Thanks💋 Oh and I’m @seaofstring on the gram. I was just told about you girls yesterday and now I’ve fallen down a Cady Jax rabbit hole! ❤️
I just found you guys, and I'm so happy that I had the weekend to binge on your older episodes. Jackie, what was the shade of Chanel lipstick that you were wearing? Their names can be so hard to pronounce, but I haven't been able to find one that comes close to what you mentioned so far. Thanks!
Jackie - I am a fellow blue lover! My son did my laundry the other day. Came in to the livingroom laughing and said. "So....I separated your clothes into two loads - blue and blue"!
You two are delightful!! I appreciate all I learn from your podcase as well as your sisterhood.
I have been going through all your videos. It’s been such a pleasure, thank you so much for bringing the knitting community together.
🥰🥰🥰 thank you for joining us!
you guys ...looooove your podcast!!!! the colors you use are fabulous!!!!

In regards to lipstick - Caitlyn should try Macc "Teddy", or Max Factor lipfinity "spice"!
Oh and I also think Jackie would suit Macc "Fanfare"!
How fun! Thank you for the suggestions. Yarn, lipstick, nail polish: the ultimate trifecta! 😘

Well Caitlin, I DID want to know that Jackie's son was okay and that he got the hook out of his thigh. -So appreciate the follow up.
